Sickness and theft!!

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray for my mother, who is suffering from depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat due to the theft of money. Please pray for her healing and restoration of money in Jesus' name, and that she repays whatever she owes to people, including debts.

My mother is super nervous. Please pray for peace, patience, and understanding for her.

Update: It seems that my mother was willing to pay most of her debts, but she still has other financial obligations to fulfil. Thank God for His everlasting mercies, and please continue to pray that He softens my mother's heart and makes her more generous. Thank you for your fervent and heartfelt prayers.

Update: My mother is heartbroken. It seems that the bank's deadline has passed, but we are hoping that she will get the stolen money back tomorrow, by the new deadline. Please pray that there is no further delay in Jesus' name.

Update: The promised money has not yet been transferred to her bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name for the swift transfer of funds.

Update: Thank God, a partial refund was provided this week, but it and more were immediately stolen from the bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name that the refunds will be transferred to a safe account that the thief cannot access.

Update: Thank God! My mother has found a drug that is starting to help heal one of her illnesses. Praise the Lord! We are still waiting for the police and the bank to process the refunds.

God's mercies endure forever! AMEN

Update:
This theft has left us feeling deeply upset. The bank and the police promised it would take a maximum of 15–30 days to resolve, but 60 days have now passed. We have many expenses to pay and we need this money back.

We lift up your mother and this entire situation before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, healing, and provision. It is clear that this theft has brought not only financial hardship but also deep emotional and physical distress upon your mother—depression, headaches, dizziness, and sorrow are heavy burdens to bear. Yet we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We praise Him that you have already seen partial answers to prayer, including the medication that is bringing healing to one of her illnesses. This is a reminder that our God is faithful, even when the full restoration we long for has not yet come.

The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy through this theft (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly. The delays and repeated thefts from her account are not just financial attacks—they are spiritual battles intended to wear down her faith, her health, and her hope. But we stand firm on the promise that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord sees the injustice done to her, and He will act. "The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We pray that the bank and police will be moved by the Spirit to act with urgency and integrity, fulfilling their promises without further delay. May every obstacle be removed, and may the full amount stolen—and more—be restored swiftly and secured in a place the thief cannot touch. "The Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you" (Deuteronomy 28:11).

Yet even as we pray for financial restoration, we must address the deeper spiritual and emotional wounds. Your mother’s anxiety, nervousness, and heartbreak reveal a soul in great need of the Lord’s peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that she would cast all her anxieties on Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). May the Holy Spirit fill her with a supernatural peace that guards her heart and mind, even in the midst of this storm. We also pray for her physical healing—that the headaches, dizziness, and sore throat would cease, and that her body would be renewed by His strength. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).

We notice with gratitude that you have consistently lifted this request in the name of Jesus. This is as it should be, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only by the authority of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and find mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to continue to stand firm in this truth, declaring His power over every aspect of this situation.

There is also a matter of the heart that the Lord is highlighting: the call to generosity and the repayment of debts. It is commendable that your mother has sought to pay most of her debts, and we pray that the Lord would soften her heart to fulfill all her obligations with joy and trust in His provision. "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law" (Romans 13:8). Generosity is not just about money—it is an overflow of a heart that trusts in God’s abundance. We pray that she would experience the truth that "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35), and that the Lord would provide supernaturally so she can be a blessing to others even in this difficult season.

Finally, we rebuke the spirit of theft, deception, and delay that has sought to prolong this trial. In the name of Jesus, we command every demonic hand to be removed from your mother’s finances, health, and emotions. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). May this season of testing become a testimony of His faithfulness, and may your mother’s faith be strengthened as she sees the Lord’s deliverance.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother who is weary, broken, and in need of Your touch. Lord, You see her suffering—the stolen money, the unpaid debts, the physical pain, and the emotional turmoil. You are not distant from her sorrow; You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her body. Remove the headaches, dizziness, and every sickness, and restore her strength. Fill her with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for justice and restoration. You are a God who defends the cause of the oppressed (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You move mightily in the bank and the police, that every delay would be broken, and that the full amount stolen—and more—would be returned swiftly and secured where the thief cannot reach. Let no weapon formed against her prosper. Frustrate the plans of the enemy and expose every hidden scheme. Bring to light what has been done in darkness, and let Your justice prevail.

Father, we pray for her heart to be softened toward generosity and the repayment of all debts. Release her from any fear or hesitation, and provide supernaturally so she can fulfill her obligations with joy. Teach her to trust in Your abundance, knowing that You are her Provider and that all she has comes from You.

We rebuke the spirits of theft, anxiety, and delay in the name of Jesus. We declare that this family will not be crushed by the enemy’s schemes, but will rise up in victory, testifying of Your goodness. Lord, turn this situation around for Your glory. Let Your mercy and power be evident to all who witness this restoration.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. Thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we cannot see the way forward. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family’s faith as they wait on You. Let them see Your hand move mightily, and may their hearts overflow with gratitude and praise.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear one. We've seen the updates and we're not giving up. We're believing with you that this situation will turn around, and we're trusting that God will move mightily on your mother's behalf. We're claiming Romans 4:17 over this situation - "the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that do not exist." We're asking God to bring this money back to life, to call it into being, and to restore it back to your mother's account. We're also praying for her peace, patience, and understanding. We're believing that God will soften her heart towards generosity and prompt her to repay her debts as she is able. We're claiming Psalm 3:3 over her - "But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head." We're asking God to lift her head, to give her strength, and to protect her from the enemy's schemes. We're standing in faith with you, sister. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God's got this!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your mother—and your entire family—before the Lord in prayer during this trying season. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement, interceding for her healing, restoration, and the resolution of these financial burdens. We have followed each update with hearts full of compassion, praising God for the small victories like the partial refund and the medication beginning to bring relief, while continuing to cry out for His justice and provision in the areas still unresolved.

We know how deeply this prolonged struggle has weighed on your mother’s heart—her physical pain, the emotional toll of the theft, the frustration of delayed justice, and the pressure of unmet obligations. Yet even in this, we serve a God who sees her suffering, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and who is faithful to complete the work He has begun in her life (Philippians 1:6). We take heart in knowing that He is not silent, nor is He slow in keeping His promises, but patient toward you (2 Peter 3:9), working all things together for good—even the things that feel broken beyond repair.

If the Lord has moved in new ways—whether through further healing, the return of the stolen funds, or a renewed sense of peace in your mother’s spirit—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Let us give glory to His name together for every answer, big or small. And if this burden still feels heavy, if the refund remains unresolved or her health is not yet fully restored, we urge you to share an update so we can persist in prayer with you. We will not grow weary in lifting her before the Throne, asking the Lord to:
- **Strengthen her body**—may the medication continue to bring healing, and may He touch every lingering symptom with His restoring hand.
- **Guard her heart**—replace her anxiety with His peace that surpasses understanding, and grant her patience as she waits on His timing.
- **Break every scheme of the enemy**—expose the thief, hasten the refund process, and protect any future funds from further harm.
- **Provide supernaturally**—open doors for financial relief, soften the hearts of those who can help, and meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
- **Bring justice and closure**—let this season of waiting end in a testimony of His faithfulness, so she may declare, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (Psalm 126:3).

Do not lose heart, dear sister or brother. We are standing with you, believing that the God who turned water into wine and multiplied loaves for the hungry is the same God who holds your mother’s future. He is not finished writing her story. Let us continue to seek Him together, trusting that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We love you in Christ and are praying for you even now.
