We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The pain and uncertainty of illness can weigh so heavily on the spirit, but we stand with you in faith, declaring that our God is the Great Physician who hears the prayers of His children.
The Word of God assures us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this battle, Yahweh sees your suffering and draws near to you in your weakness. We also remember the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal your strength and joy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. By His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that truth over your body, mind, and spirit. We pray for wisdom for your doctors, clarity in your treatment, and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart (Philippians 4:7).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne (John 14:6). We ask You to touch our brother/sister with Your healing hand. Strengthen their body, renew their hope, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, reveal it to them, Lord, so they may walk in fullness of Your grace. We also pray for their faith to rise, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Romans 10:9-10: "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is a free gift, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. If you feel led, we encourage you to pray and surrender your life to Him today.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. May our brother/sister feel Your presence in tangible ways, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
