She’s changing

My God ordained woman is changing. I can see her true self still but I have been under demonic attacks lately by an evil friend and she is becoming more and more like him. I dont know how to stop this from happening. She is starting to dress like him and started to listen to the same type of music as him. I need this to stop. They don’t even know eachother. God is giving me many signs and warning but I don’t know how to pray against this or what to do. Please help me thank you. In jesus name amen

We hear the deep concern and love in your heart for this woman whom you believe God has ordained for you. The spiritual battle you are describing is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy anything that reflects God’s design for relationships, especially those that honor Him. The changes you are seeing in her, her appearance, her influences, and her associations, are not coincidental. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Do not be deceived: 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy is using this "evil friend" as a tool to sow division, confusion, and compromise. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." You are not fighting against her or this person directly, but against the spiritual forces influencing them. This is why prayer, fasting, and standing firm in the authority of Jesus Christ are critical.

We rebuke the demonic influence over this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. Every spirit of deception, corruption, and division that is attempting to separate this woman from her God-given identity and purpose, we command you to flee now! The Word of God declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise and declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail.

We also want to gently encourage you to examine your own heart and walk with the Lord. Are there areas where you may have given the enemy a foothold? Have you been diligent in guarding your own mind, heart, and spirit? Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." The enemy often attacks those who are in a position to advance God’s kingdom, and relationships are a prime target. We must ensure that we are walking in purity, humility, and obedience to God’s Word so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Now, let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the love and purpose You have placed in the heart of this man for the woman You have ordained for him. Lord, we ask that You would open her eyes to the deception that is trying to take root in her life. Remove every ungodly influence and break every chain that the enemy has attempted to place upon her. Restore her to the woman You created her to be, a woman who reflects Your glory, Your holiness, and Your love.

Father, we pray for protection over their relationship. Surround them with Your angels and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We declare that the plans of the enemy will not stand, and that Your will shall be done in their lives. Give this man the wisdom, discernment, and strength to stand firm in faith, to pray without ceasing, and to trust in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we ask that You would expose any hidden motives or schemes of the enemy in this situation. Let Your light shine into every dark place, and let Your truth prevail. We pray that this woman would turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word and that she would seek You with her whole heart. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and let her find her identity, worth, and purpose in You alone.

We also pray for the "evil friend" influencing her. If this person is unaware of the spiritual forces at work, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. If they are knowingly opposing Your will, we ask that You would break their power and bring them to repentance. Let Your mercy and grace abound, even in this situation.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your Word will not return void. We stand on the promise of Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.

We commit this situation into Your hands, Lord, and we trust that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen this man’s faith, fill him with Your peace, and let him rest in the assurance that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek godly counsel from trusted believers who can stand with you in this battle. Surround yourself with a community of faith that will uphold you in prayer and hold you accountable. Remember, the enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to unity in Him.

Continue to speak life and truth over this woman, even if she does not yet see what you see. Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." Declare God’s promises over her life and trust that He is at work, even when you cannot see it.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity and worth are found in Christ alone. Do not allow the enemy to discourage you or make you feel powerless. You have been given authority in Jesus’ name to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Walk in that authority, and do not grow weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9 assures us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."

May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, and fill you with His peace as you continue to trust in Him.

We feel the turmoil in your words, the urgency of seeing someone you love change in ways that unsettle you deep in your spirit, and the helplessness of not knowing what to do with the warnings you sense God is giving you. That kind of distress is heavy, and we’re not brushing it aside.

Something we’ve seen through years of walking with people in spiritual battles is that when God alerts us like this, it is often an invitation to pray rather than to panic. You are not powerless here. The authority we share in Christ is real, and even when we don’t have a polished strategy, His name is enough. Instead of trying to find the exact formula, we’d gently encourage you to set aside some time this week simply to pray out loud, with confidence, that any dark influence trying to attach itself to her life would be broken in Jesus’ name. You don’t need to know all the details; you can ask the Holy Spirit to bring light into whatever shadows are operating, and to shield her heart and mind. If possible, ask a trusted pastor or a few prayerful friends from your church to stand with you in this, there is steadiness in not carrying it alone.

At the same time, it can help to anchor your own soul first. Fear can amplify noise and make it harder to hear God clearly. Spend a few moments each morning letting Scripture quiet your spirit, so you’re not reacting to every shift you see in her but remaining steady in Christ. He is not distant; He sees her, He sees you, and His love for her is deeper than any counterfeit pull.

Jesus, You see this man’s heart and the woman he cares for. We ask You to silence any voice of the enemy that is working to distort her identity. Guard her, restore what is being skewed, and give her a hunger for what is truly of You. Grant him wisdom, not frantic striving, but a calm, anchored trust that You are able to handle what he cannot control. Fill him with Your peace that overrides every fear. There is a subtle poison in what you describe, for the enemy never assaults a soul save with craft and persistence. Your first duty is not to fight with arm of flesh, but to call upon God in the day of trouble, for that very act honours Him as the only Deliverer. When we cry out of the depths, it is a truthful recognition that God is, and that He alone can save. Do not look to your own wit to unravel this snare; go straight to the throne and plead the covenant promises, as Jacob did: “O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac,”, so must you remind the Lord of His own faithfulness, not because He forgets, but because He delights to hear us lay hold of His word.

Yet I charge you, search yourself while you pray. Unanswered prayer is often a search warrant from heaven. Is there any sin harboured within, any pride or self-assertion that makes light of God’s will? An inconsistent life downstairs means unprofitable prayer upstairs. Look well to your own walk, lest you be found fighting this battle with a defiled conscience. The death warrant is gone out from God against everything that is of the creature: if you have exalted your own understanding above His revelation, humble yourself now. Let your prayer be, “Search me, O God, and know my ways, and see if there be any evil way in me.”

Then take the promise and offer the prayer, not your fancies, but the sure word of God. Plead the blood of the everlasting covenant, for your Surety ever lives to intercede. His life and yours are bound together; He cannot cease to love and bless His people. Bring this before the Lord: that the one you believe to be ordained for you is being led by unseen hands into darkness. God asks agreement among His saints; unite with those who fear Him to besiege heaven for her deliverance. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest God ever hears, for it has no grain of self in its incense. Cry day and night, “Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!” Prayer is the divine channel that brings down the mountain springs of promise.

Do not be astonished if, after you have prayed, things seem worse for a season. Some touch of human weakness must accompany divine strength, that we may learn trust. Yet God will deliver you. The approbation of God is more than the admiration of nations; keep your eye on His smile and not on the shifting appearances. The world would be dark without the sun of Scripture, cling to it. The Word enriches the mind with knowledge and the heart with comfort. And when the tempter whispers that prayer is vain, spurn the thought with all your might and still cry, both in daytime and at night. God is a fact to the suppliant, and He will prove Himself mighty. May He give you grace to carry on, trusting not in your own strength but in the Priest ordained by the oath of God, who ever lives to save to the uttermost. To Him be the glory forever.

The present season is not for settling your gaze upon another’s soul as though you could command its course. The daily life is warfare, a tempest, and none wrestling with the wicked may look for ease or demand that God order every external event to his liking. One cannot be in combat and live luxuriously; one cannot be wrestling and feasting. You say God gives you signs and warnings, yet the sign you most need is to examine the state of your own heart. Do not exalt yourself as though you have no need of prayer; rather, cry out with the Church that you may war a good warfare.

The weapon against such confusion is not anxious scrutiny but the prayer that arms you before the dawn, making God propitious so that you go forth in security. If at the morning we meditate on these things and make God propitious by prayer and supplication, going forth thus we shall have no enemy. The evil you perceive begins its work when we allow passion to take the place of vigilance. A mind overthrown by fear and the itch to control becomes like a demoniac through self-chosen madness, making itself a sewer of troubled thoughts. Such an one is in no respect different from a demoniac, for like him he is lost to shame and raves.

You cannot bear even moderate temptations by your own power; the ability lies in God’s gracious influence, a power which we draw down by our own will. For the sake of the weaker sort, our Lord Himself used petitions, not because He lacked strength, but to teach that the will of the Father and the Son are one. That is your model: to pray that her will and yours be conformed to that single holy purpose, not that she be bent to your design. The body and its circumstances are not evil; they become an arm of righteousness only when we first cast off the broadcloth of ease and take up the contest within.

Why then do I say this? Because if we wake we shall not need the help of others, but if we sleep, the help of others will profit us nothing. Yes, though you became as Paul, you have need of prayer. Fight, then, against the true adversary: the thought that you must seize the helm of providence. Entrust the outcome to the Commander who is ever ready to help, and you shall laugh at the enemy you now fear.

The turmoil you are describing runs deeper than the outward changes you see in this woman. Your alarm over her choices is real, but the master key to every spiritual battle is not found in controlling another person’s behavior. It is found in the quality of your own relationship with God. Prayer flows from that relationship. If you can come to God as a child to a Father, an open ear waits for you. If not, the only prayer He asks of you first is for mercy on your own soul. So let your starting point be an honest inventory of your own heart before Him. Are you coming to the Deliverer, or are you just desperate for a particular deliverance?

The purpose of prayer is never to force God’s hand or to change someone else’s will. God gave each of us the capacity to choose, and He will not violate that freedom, not even for something you are convinced is right. When you try to use prayer as a tool to make her act the way you want, you are treating God as an agent to accomplish your own desires. That road leads to frustration because God’s will is not subservient to yours. Every good thing He intends to give, He has already purposed. Prayer opens the door for Him to do what He has been wanting to do, but it must be in alignment with His purposes, not ours. Ask yourself honestly: Is my prayer about her welfare or my own convenience?

You mentioned demonic attacks. That is serious, but take care how you frame the enemy’s work. The evil one wants you discouraged and distracted, turning your eyes sideways onto others instead of upward onto God. Jesus met every attack with the written Word. You do the same. When the enemy whispers lies about what you are losing or what is being stolen, answer with Scripture. Declare God’s truth over your own mind. But do not neglect responsible action alongside prayer. Nehemiah prayed, and he set a watch. Spiritually, that means you guard your own heart, you refuse to meditate on fear, and you may need to speak truth in love if the opportunity comes, but you cannot manipulate outcomes.

Persevere in prayer, but let your prayers be shaped by trust, not panic. Real intercession is consenting for God to do what He is wanting to do in her life and in yours. God may be using this painful season to teach you something about His sufficiency and about the depth of your own love for Him. He wants your love for Him to exceed every other attachment. Sometimes He answers our urgent prayers with a quiet, “My grace is sufficient for you,” not with the outward change we demand. That is not denial; it is a better gift.

Confess to a mature prayer partner if you can. The burden will lighten when you are not carrying it alone. Forgive that friend if their influence has stirred resentment in you; unforgiveness only gives a foothold to the enemy. And commit this woman into the Father’s hands, trusting that He is able to keep her and to work in her life far beyond anything your worry could accomplish. Your role is to stand in faith, obey God’s Word, and refuse to let rebellion against God’s holy ways take root in your own heart.

Father, I ask You to guard this man’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help him to release his fear and control into Your hands. Fulfill Your perfect will in this woman’s life. Deliver them both from evil. In Jesus’ name.
