Beloved of All

Certaines remarques répétées, notamment concernant mes vêtements ou mon apparence, me bénissent.

We hear the deep pain and desperation in this cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours. The loneliness, the feeling of being unseen and unheard, and the weight of suffering in silence are heavy burdens no one should carry alone. We want you to know that you are not alone, God sees you, He hears you, and He longs to bring you comfort and healing. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and your pain matters deeply to Him.

First, we must address the urgency of your situation. Fleeing or running away is not the answer. It may feel like the only way to escape the pain, but it will only lead to more danger, fear, and isolation. Proverbs 14:12 warns us, "There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." We beg you to reconsider this decision. Instead, we urge you to reach out to a trusted adult, a teacher, counselor, pastor, or even a helpline, who can help you navigate this crisis. You do not have to face this alone.

The abuse you are enduring, both emotionally at home and the predatory advances from this man, is unacceptable and must be stopped. This is not your fault, and you deserve to be protected. The Bible is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and no one has the right to violate or exploit you. We rebuke the enemy who seeks to destroy your worth and your future. We declare that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your life has purpose and value. The abuse must end, and we pray for God’s intervention to expose the darkness and bring justice.

We also want to speak truth over the struggles at home. It is not wrong to desire respect, understanding, and affirmation. God designed families to love and support one another, and it grieves Him when His children feel unheard or belittled. However, we must also encourage you to extend grace, even when it is not returned. Colossians 3:13 says, "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." This does not mean tolerating abuse, but it does mean praying for those who hurt you and trusting God to work in their hearts.

Most importantly, we must address the foundation of your hope. You have not mentioned Jesus in your message, but we want you to know that He is the only one who can truly heal your heart and give you the strength to endure. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life to Christ, confess your sins, and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. He alone can turn your mourning into joy and your despair into hope.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for this precious child who is crying out in pain. Lord, You see every tear, every hurt, and every moment of loneliness. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Break the chains of fear, shame, and despair, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy this young life. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Expose the darkness and bring justice to those who have harmed them. Give them the courage to speak up and the wisdom to seek help.

Lord, we pray for healing in their home. Soften the hearts of their family members and help them to see the pain they have caused. Teach them to love and listen as You do. Provide a way for this child to find safety, support, and a path forward.

Above all, Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Let them know that You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost (Luke 15:4). Save their soul, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them hope for the future and the strength to take each day one step at a time.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

Please, do not run. Do not give up. Reach out to someone today, a trusted adult, a crisis hotline, or even a local church. You are not alone, and there are people who want to help you. God has a plan for your life, and it is a plan for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Hold on to that truth. We are praying for you, and we will not stop.

I am writing to you because I need you to truly understand what I have been feeling for several years.

For a long time, I have been struggling with personal difficulties that have left me completely exhausted. I have already tried to explain that I was not doing well and that certain things were causing me to suffer, but I have often felt unheard or misunderstood.

Certain repeated remarks, particularly concerning my clothes or my appearance, hurt me. When I say that certain words hurt me, I am not trying to be rude or to provoke a conflict. I am simply trying to express what I feel and to make you understand that I need to be respected in my choices.

I also make efforts every day to help around the house, and I would like these efforts to be recognized rather than constantly receiving criticism.

Today, I need to take more distance in order to rebuild myself, to think about my future and to gradually become independent. This is not a decision made to punish you or to hurt you. It is a decision linked to my need to regain some peace and to be able to move forward.

I want to work, move forward with my projects, get my driver's license, save money and gradually build my own life. I need you to understand that this desire for independence does not mean that I hate you. It simply means that I need an environment in which I can grow and make my own decisions.

All I have ever really asked for is to be listened to, understood and respected.

I hope that one day you will truly understand what I have tried to tell you.

It's a bit extreme but I can't stay in this environment, I'm making the decision to run away, you might think I'm crazy but I'm really at my limit 😭
I'm also going to see a therapist because right now I'm really at rock bottom.
I feel extremely alone and misunderstood.
You won't be able to stop me, I'm really going to do it and you won't be able to stop me.

This is the worrying message I received from a teenager who is suffering enormously emotionally. This teenager is the target of the obsession of a man who desires him sexually, it has been going on for a long time and he doesn't dare talk about it to his parents. He suffers at home from feeling alone and misunderstood. There are many other things that are wrong but I am sending a message to ask you for help. Running away is not the solution.

HE NEEDS YOU.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing the burden you are carrying for this young man. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for him and we have been lifting him up before the Lord.

We have been praying for this adolescent who feels exhausted, unheard and deeply alone, who has been wounded by repeated hurtful words about his appearance and who feels that his efforts at home go unseen. We have prayed for the deep distress he feels, for his feeling at his lowest point and for his plan to run away, and we agree with you that running away is not the solution. We ask the Lord to protect him, to surround him with peace and to show him that he is fully heard and valued by God even when he feels misunderstood by others. We pray Psalm 34:18 over him, that the Lord who is close to the brokenhearted would draw near to him and heal his wounded heart, and we pray Psalm 61:2 that when his heart is overwhelmed God would lead him to the rock that is higher than he.

We also continue to pray for his safety, for deliverance from the predatory attention he is suffering and for the courage and support he needs to speak to safe and trusted adults including his parents. We pray for wisdom, discernment and strength for you as you walk alongside him, and for his parents that their eyes and hearts would be opened to really hear him, understand him and respect him as he seeks to grow toward healthy independence, work and his future. We pray that God would provide godly counsel through the psychologist he is seeing and through other trusted help, and that he would find an environment where he can grow and make decisions in safety.

If God has brought encouragement, protection or any sign of hope and healing to this young man, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice together. If he is still struggling, still feels alone and still is in need of protection and understanding, please post his request again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are continuing to stand with you in prayer for his life, his safety and his future. May God bless you and this young man as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
