Humble Servant of All
I have been scammed out of my,and my late sister's,life savings. I feel so stupid but I honestly thought I was helping someone in need and he was so persuasive. I have come through so much in the past few years including mental and physical illnesses and the loss of many loved ones including my brother and sister. My sister died suddenly in my arms in January and I am now on my own. I feel suicidal but have to stay alive for my cat. I would truly appreciate your prayers. Please Jesus forgive me and help me

We are deeply grieved to hear of the immense pain and betrayal you have endured, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this. The weight of losing your life savings, the grief of losing your sister so tragically, and the isolation you feel are burdens no one should carry without support. While the enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), we stand with you in the name of Jesus, who came to bring life abundantly. You are not stupid—you were deceived by someone who preyed on your kindness and compassion, and that is not your fault. The Lord sees your heart, and He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Your pain is valid, and your cry for help has reached the ears of the One who loves you more than you can imagine.

The loss you’ve experienced is profound, and the financial betrayal compounds the grief you’re already carrying. It’s understandable that you feel overwhelmed, but we urge you to hold on. Suicidal thoughts are a lie from the enemy, who wants to rob you of the future God still has for you. Your life has purpose, and even in this darkness, the Lord is with you. He promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6), and He can restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Your cat may be a small comfort now, but we pray the Lord surrounds you with His presence and His people to remind you that you are deeply loved.

We also want to gently address something important: you invoked the name of Jesus in your request, and that is powerful. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your simple cry to Jesus for forgiveness and help is evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work in you, drawing you to the only Source of true hope. If you have not already surrendered your life fully to Christ, we encourage you to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). In Him, there is forgiveness, redemption, and a future that outweighs the pain of today.

As for the scam, we pray that the Lord exposes the wickedness of those who have wronged you and brings justice in His timing. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns against exploiting the poor or crushing the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and rob those who rob them of life. While we don’t know how the Lord will restore you, we trust that He will. He is the God who parts seas, multiplies loaves, and turns mourning into dancing. Lean on Him, even when it feels impossible.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Lord, she is broken, betrayed, and exhausted from grief. Wrap Your arms around her and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remove the lies of the enemy that tell her she is worthless or that her life has no purpose. Replace them with Your truth: that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her (Jeremiah 29:11), and that nothing can separate her from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

Father, we ask for supernatural provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are able to restore what has been stolen. Open doors for financial recovery, whether through unexpected blessings, wise counsel, or divine connections. Give her wisdom to navigate this season and protect her from further harm. Surround her with godly community—people who will walk with her, pray with her, and remind her that she is not alone.

Lord, we also pray for her heart, which is so heavy with grief. The loss of her sister, brother, and others has left deep wounds. Be her Comforter, Jesus. Heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds (Psalm 147:3). Remove the weight of guilt or shame she may feel over the scam, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke the spirit of suicide that has whispered lies to her. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus. You have no place here. This child of God is covered by the blood of Christ, and her life belongs to Him. Lord, fill her with Your hope and remind her that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Let her cat be a small reminder of Your care, but open her eyes to see the bigger picture of Your love and faithfulness.

Finally, Father, draw her deeper into relationship with You. Let this season of suffering drive her to Your Word, to prayer, and to a dependence on You that she has never known before. May she emerge from this trial with a testimony of Your goodness and a faith that is unshaken.

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We strongly encourage you to reach out to a local church or a trusted Christian counselor who can walk with you through this season. Isolation only amplifies the enemy’s lies, but community and the Word of God will anchor you in truth. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to cope, please contact a crisis hotline or a mental health professional. You are not a burden; you are deeply loved by God, and He wants to see you through this.

If you haven’t already, consider reporting the scam to the appropriate authorities. While it may not undo what has happened, it could prevent others from being harmed. We also encourage you to spend time in the Psalms, where David and others poured out their raw emotions to God. You’ll find that your pain is not unique to you—many have walked this path before and found God faithful.

Hold on, dear one. The night is dark, but the morning is coming. Jesus is with you, and so are we.

We're here with you, friend. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We know that the pain of loss and betrayal can feel overwhelming, like a heavy storm cloud that won't lift. But remember, even the darkest clouds have a silver lining, and that lining is Jesus.

We want you to know that it's okay to feel sad, angry, or even hopeless right now. Those feelings are valid, and they don't make you any less loved by God. He sees you, He knows your heart, and He's right there with you in your pain. In fact, Jesus is the ultimate Comforter. He was betrayed too, by His closest friends, and He understands your hurt more than anyone else ever could.

We want to encourage you to keep fighting, to keep holding on. We know it's hard, especially when you feel like you've lost so much. But remember, even in the midst of this storm, you're not alone. You have a cat who loves you, and you have us, your brothers and sisters in Christ, praying for you and standing with you.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of restoration. He can take the broken pieces of your life and make something beautiful out of them. He can restore what the locusts have eaten, and He can bring beauty from ashes. Trust in Him, even when it's hard. Even when it feels impossible.

Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to You today on behalf of our sister. Lord, she's hurting, she's betrayed, and she's exhausted. But Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and You comfort us in all our affliction. So, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around her, Lord. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remove the lies of the enemy that tell her she's worthless or that her life has no purpose. Replace them with Your truth, Lord. Remind her that she's fearfully and wonderfully made, that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, and that nothing can separate her from Your love.

Lord, we also ask for supernatural provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and You're able to restore what has been stolen. Open doors for financial recovery, Lord. Give her wisdom to navigate this season and protect her from further harm. Surround her with godly community, Lord. People who will walk with her, pray with her, and remind her that she's not alone.

Lord, we pray for her heart, which is so heavy with grief. The loss of her sister, brother, and others has left deep wounds. Be her Comforter, Jesus. Heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds. Remove the weight of guilt or shame she may feel over the scam, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide that has whispered lies to her, Lord. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus. This child of God is covered by the blood of Christ, and her life belongs to Him. Lord, fill her with Your hope and remind her that joy comes in the morning. Let her cat be a small reminder of Your care, but open her eyes to see the bigger picture of Your love and faithfulness.

Finally, Father, draw her deeper into relationship with You. Let this season of suffering drive her to Your Word, to prayer, and to a dependence on You that she's never known before. May she emerge from this trial with a testimony of Your goodness and a faith that is unshaken.

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep fighting, dear one. The night is dark, but the morning is coming. Jesus is with you, and so are we.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
