Saving my friend

Jesus I pray that you can save my friend, he has failed ### brain death tests and I need a miracle. I have faith he can make it, but I need a miracle to save him. Lord please let him pass this ### test tomorrow and let him continue his life. He has too much to live for to be taken now. Save him Lord. In Jesus’s name, Amen

We stand with you in fervent prayer for your dear friend, lifting this heavy burden to the throne of grace where our Great Physician hears and answers. Your faith in the power of Jesus to work miracles is a testament to the hope we have in Him, and we join you in believing that nothing is impossible for our Lord.

First, we must acknowledge that our God is sovereign over life and death. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:16, "Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them." While we pray for your friend’s healing and restoration, we also submit to God’s perfect will, trusting that His plans are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether He chooses to heal your friend in this life or call him home to eternal rest, we know that God’s ways are just and His love is everlasting.

We rebuke the spirit of death and despair that seeks to claim your friend. In the name of Jesus, we declare that the power of God is greater than any medical diagnosis or report. Jesus demonstrated His authority over death and sickness time and time again, as seen in John 11:43-44 when He called Lazarus forth from the grave. We pray that same resurrection power would flow over your friend, that he would be restored to full health and vitality. Let every test, every machine, and every doctor’s report reflect the glory of God as He moves mightily on your friend’s behalf.

However, we must also address the eternal state of your friend’s soul. If he has not placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, this moment is a critical opportunity for him to do so. The Bible is clear that salvation comes only through Jesus: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your friend does not know Jesus, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, even in these moments, for his physical healing is secondary to the eternal healing of his soul.

We pray now with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy yet hopeful, knowing that You are the God who heals and the God who saves. We lift up our dear brother in Christ, asking that You would move mightily in his life. Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we ask that You would restore his body completely. Let the tests tomorrow reflect Your power and glory, and let every doctor and nurse witness Your hand at work. If it is Your will, Father, bring him back from the brink of death and give him many more years to live for Your glory.

But Lord, above all, we pray for his soul. If he does not know You, draw him to Yourself now. Let him hear Your voice and respond in faith, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Surround him with Your peace and presence, and let him feel the urgency of eternity. May he place his trust in Jesus alone, for there is no other way to the Father.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies and schemes, and we declare that no weapon formed against your friend shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Whether You choose to heal him now or call him home, we know that Your will is perfect.

Strengthen this family and all who love him. Give them peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill them with hope as they wait on You. Let them see Your hand at work in every detail, and may their faith grow as they witness Your power.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that brings healing, salvation, and victory. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24: "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting God’s timing. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and support you during this time. God hears your cries, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

What a heavy weight you carry right now, waiting beside your friend while the tests loom. We hear the depth of your love and your fierce hope. You are not alone in this, so many of us are lifting him up with you. In these moments, faith isn’t about perfectly worded prayers; it’s about clinging to the God who raises the dead and whispers, “I am with you.”

It’s easy to feel that everything hinges on our own faith, but the power to heal rests entirely with Jesus. We don’t have to hold on with superhuman strength; we simply hold on to Him. He knows your desperation and your love, and He is not distant from your pain.

As you wait, perhaps the most profound thing you can do is simply be present with your friend. Speak to him, he may hear you even if he cannot respond. Hold his hand, read a Psalm aloud, or play a beloved hymn softly. Your steady presence is a prayer in itself. And please, don’t shoulder this alone; invite a trusted friend or family member to come and pray with you at his bedside. There is a quiet strength in knowing you are surrounded.

Lord Jesus, we bring this precious friend before You. You know every cell in his body and every moment of this fight. We ask boldly for a miracle, that his brain function would be restored and the next test would show life. We trust Your perfect will, and we ask for a peace beyond understanding to guard this hurting heart. Hold them both close, and let Your presence fill that room. In Your mighty name, amen.

The cry of your heart has ascended to the throne of grace. You plead for a miracle, and rightly so, for our Lord delights to show His power in desperate straits. Consider the first miracle after His own death, the rending of the veil at the instant He yielded up His spirit. It proves His immortality; even in death He works wonders. The power of Christ to save does not lie in the person saved, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. He can command life into the ribs of death, yes, between the jaws of destruction.

There is no power like that of intercession. Pursue your friend with persistent prayer, as Samuel who, though he feared Saul's sin might be unto death, yet prayed on in desperate hope. The Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. When you know not what to pray as you ought, He helps your infirmities. Bring this hard case before Him continually.

Look to the healing leaves of the Tree of Life, the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. He is able to save unto the uttermost. And remember, if sin is pardoned, death’s sting is drawn. To the believer, death is no punishment but the gate of endless joy. What an Almighty God we have at a dead lift! He can lift from the gates of death to the gates of Zion. Consider the miracle of the loaves in your own history, how He has been grand in past emergencies, and be not afraid. God bless you.

Heavenly Father, I come before You in prayer for this dear friend who is fighting for his life. Lord, You know his condition, You know every part of his body, and nothing is impossible for You. I ask You to place Your healing hands upon him and bring life, strength, and restoration where it is desperately needed.

Father, please let tomorrow’s test bring unexpected and hopeful news. Give wisdom to every doctor and nurse caring for him, and guide every decision they make. Where medicine has reached its limits, we ask for Your mercy and Your miraculous intervention.

Lord, surround his family and friends with Your peace and strength during this painful and uncertain time. Help them hold onto faith even when they are afraid. We place his life completely into Your loving hands and ask, if it is Your will, for the miracle they are praying for.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray for healing, mercy, hope, and life. Amen. 🙏❤️
