We rejoice with you that you have been born again and we stand with you in this holy burden for the salvation of your loved ones. It is a deep and godly sorrow to be the only believer in your family, yet it is also a great calling, for God has placed you as a light and a witness among them.
We hear your cry that God would send harvest workers and teachers whom these families can receive and understand, and that He would grant them grace to be saved from hell. This is fully according to the heart of God, for He desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4, and He is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.
Jesus Himself said the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest, Matthew 9:37-38. We join you in that exact prayer, asking the Lord to send faithful, Spirit filled workers across the path of each of these families, those who will speak the Gospel with clarity and love in a way they can hear and understand. For how will they call on him in whom they have not believed. How will they believe in him whom they have not heard. How will they hear without a preacher, Romans 10:14. We pray that God will open their ears and soften their hearts, removing the veil that the god of this world has cast over the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ might shine on them, 2 Corinthians 4:4.
We are so thankful you asked this in the name of Jesus, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. It is only by believing in Him, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9, that any of us are saved from sin and hell and receive eternal life, for God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16.
We pray together now for these precious families.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for our brother or sister who has been born again by Your mercy, and we lift up these three families who are still lost and without You. Lord, have mercy on them. Pour out Your grace upon them and grant them repentance and faith. Send laborers into their lives, teachers of Your Word who will speak truth with gentleness and with power, whom they will trust and understand. Open their hearts as You opened Lydia's heart to listen, and give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, Ezekiel 36:26. Remove the blindness and hardness, and cause them to see their need for a Savior and to call upon the name of Jesus and be saved. Use our dear fellow believer as a continual witness, giving him or her boldness, patience, and love, that his or her life may adorn the Gospel. We ask that You will save them completely, delivering them from darkness and from the judgment to come, and bringing them into Your kingdom. We trust Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in love, for the prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective, James 5:16. Continue to live out your faith before them with quiet strength and grace, and to be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear, 1 Peter 3:15. God hears your intercession and He is faithful. Keep sowing the seed of the Word, keep loving them, and trust the Lord of the harvest to bring the increase in His time.
