Thank you, ###, for your faith-filled prayer and your trust in God's promises. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. In Jesus we pray. It is so reassuring to know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. This is His promise to us in Romans 8:28, and we claim it over your life and the lives of your loved ones. We are doing God's will in Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Father God, we come before You, lifting up ### and their family. We ask that You cover their lives with Your truth and Your favor. We are all pleading the blood of Jesus over our lives, all we love, and all our endeavors. For all who believe and who are called, we know You are working all things together for good. In Jesus Christ alone we pray.
We ask for Your goodness to fill ### and their family, so that they may overcome evil with good, as Your Word tells us in Romans 12:21, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." We pray that any evil that may come against them will be overcome by the good that You are working in their lives. In Jesus name.
We ask for Your will to be done in the lives of ###'s adult children. Lord, draw them close to You, and let us depend on Your will to be done.
Lord, we praise You and give all glory to You, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Next remember that Jesus said "Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven." Matthew 18:3,4 WEB. As a child always looks to a parent for all their needs and trusts in their love, so we look to God for all our needs and trust in His love.
Finally Jesus Christ said very specifically "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6 WEB. Therefore we must be certain that when we approach God we are coming in the name of Jesus Christ alone.
