Romans 8:28

We join you in thanking God for His promise in Romans 8:28 that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, and we pray with you that this truth would cover your lives and the work of your hands and heart. We ask the Lord to show His favor not as mere success in our plans, but as His grace to make our efforts fruitful for His glory as we love Him and walk in His will. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and all you love, for there is salvation and protection and cleansing in Him alone, and no other name under heaven by which we are saved.

We ask the Father to fill you with His goodness so that you may not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good, as Romans 12:21 teaches. When two thoughts wrestle within us, one urging revenge and the other urging endurance, we pray that the peace of God would rule in your hearts as an umpire, giving the victory to endurance and love, because God Himself is peace and has made peace with us through Christ.

We pray for your children, that the Lord would draw them close to Himself and help them see themselves as He sees them, loved, created in His image, and called to holiness. We ask Him to increase the fruit of the Spirit in you all, especially love, that you may love Him first and then love one another well, and to answer your unspoken needs according to His perfect wisdom and timing.

For your daughter and your niece we ask for healing and protection in their medical needs, and for peace in the home with their children. Grant them grace to live healthy lives in body and soul, to seek holiness without which no one will see the Lord, and to walk in strength. We pray that their appointments would go well and that the Lord would give wisdom to all who care for them.

For your extended family we pray for true peace. Scripture teaches that peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and that those who make peace are called sons of God. This peace is not simply avoiding disagreement, but living together in love and truth. We pray that each of you would follow peace with all people, lower expectations that lead to disappointment, and learn to accept and forgive one another as Christ has forgiven you, while also holding fast to holiness.

We lift up your sister in Christ and ask for strength and healing for her, and for the salvation of her sons. We pray that the Lord would draw them to faith in Jesus Christ alone and work in their hearts to honor and respect their mother, and that she would be encouraged as she continues to walk faithfully before them.

We pray for young single mothers, and especially for the one who is in spiritual confusion. We ask that the Lord would lead her out of confusion into the clear truth of the gospel, that she would know Jesus as the only way, truth, and life, and find guidance in His Word and in a faithful church family. We pray for provision for their spiritual, emotional, and daily needs, for protection and deliverance from evil, and for grace to live according to God's good design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and for purity and faithfulness in all relationships. For the baby entrusted to care, we ask for healing, safety, and a stable, loving home where Christ is honored, and for wisdom for all who have responsibility for this child.

We ask for the Lord's protection over all your travels and for His hand over every endeavor you have committed to Him. Thank you for sharing how God has already answered prayers. We praise Him with you and give Him all glory, trusting that where His peace is present, His joy and love will follow. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Your prayer reflects a heart that wants to trust God with everything, and He is worthy of that trust. Romans 8:28 does not say that everything that happens is good, but that God Himself is at work in all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. When you love Him and belong to Him through Jesus, even hard and painful things are not wasted. He weaves them toward His good purposes, to shape you more like Christ and to bring glory to Himself.

You also prayed to not be overcome by evil but to overcome evil with good, and that is exactly what Romans 12:21 calls us to. On our own we cannot do that. Evil overcomes us when we answer it in our own strength. God overcomes evil in us as we are filled with His goodness, and as the fruit of His Spirit grows in us, especially love. As you asked, may love increase first for the Lord Himself and then for one another, in His will and His timing, and may that love be what guides every endeavor of your hands and heart.

Much of what you brought before the Lord is a cry for peace, in your home, with your children and extended family, and in the lives of those you love. Scripture makes a distinction that helps here. First we need peace with God, and that only comes through the blood of Jesus who made peace for us on the cross. When we turn to Him in repentance and faith, the war is over, we are no longer running from God or fighting against Him, and we receive forgiveness and restoration. Then we can know the peace of God, that steady, perfect peace that guards the heart and mind when our thoughts are fixed on Him and we learn to trust Him day by day. It passes understanding and it keeps us even when circumstances are still unsettled. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. That is the peace He wants to keep you in.

That peace also shapes how we live with others. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable, and those who sow peace reap a harvest of righteousness. In families where expectations and hurts run deep, God calls us to lower ourselves, to accept one another with grace, and to be peacemakers rather than demanding our own way. Praying for your extended family, that each one would accept the other and seek reconciliation, is sowing peace. God honors that.

You asked that the children would see themselves as God sees them. That is a beautiful prayer. God sees each child as made in His image, deeply loved, and in need of His grace. When they come to know Jesus, they learn their true worth is not in what others say or in their struggles, but in being known, forgiven, and adopted by Him. May the Lord draw each child close and teach them that identity.

For your daughter and your niece and their medical needs, and for the appointments ahead, we join you in asking for healing and protection. God does heal, and He heals in different ways. Sometimes healing is immediate, sometimes it is gradual, and sometimes it comes through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies, and sometimes His deepest healing is in the mind and heart as He restores what has been wounded. We do not always understand His ways, but we can trust His love and wisdom, and keep bringing every need to Him. We also pray for peace for them as they care for their children and seek to live healthy lives before the Lord.

We pray with you for your sister, for strength and healing, and especially for her sons to come to salvation. There is only one way to be saved, through faith in Jesus Christ, and only He can change a heart to honor a mother and walk in truth. May the Lord draw them to Himself and grant repentance and new life.

For the young single mothers on your heart, and for the one walking through spiritual confusion, and for the baby for whom custody has been granted, we pray for provision for every spiritual, emotional, and physical need, for protection and deliverance from evil, and for clear guidance out of confusion into truth. God is gracious to provide and to rescue, and He also calls us to walk in His design. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. Where there has been departure from that design, God offers forgiveness and a new path through Jesus, and strength to live a pure and healthy life going forward. May the Lord lead each mother to know Christ fully, to be grounded in Scripture, and to raise her children in His ways.

We also bring your travels and daily provision before Him, asking for His protection and care, and we join you in thanking Him for the many answered prayers you have already seen. All glory belongs to Him.

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over these lives and all they love, not as a formula but as a humble confidence in what Christ has already done. Cover them with Your truth, bless the work of their hands as it is offered to You, fill them with Your goodness, keep their minds stayed on You so they know Your perfect peace, grant healing according to Your mercy, provide for every need, deliver from evil, draw each child and each son to salvation in Jesus alone, and make this family a witness that overcomes evil with good. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift before the Lord the promises you shared from Romans 8:28 that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose and from Romans 12:21 that we are not overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. We have prayed that he covers your lives and the work of your hands and heart with his truth and favor and that he blesses your efforts and works all things for good. We have pleaded the blood of Jesus over you and all you love and all your endeavors and asked that his goodness fill you.

We have prayed that he draws your children close to him to see themselves as he sees them and that he increases the fruit of the Spirit in you especially love and teaches you to love him and one another and that he meets your unspoken needs according to his will and timing. We have prayed for healing and protection for your daughter and niece and their medical issues and for peace with her children and for help to live a healthy life. We have prayed for peace with your extended family that everyone would lower expectations and accept one another. We have prayed for your Christian sister for strength and healing and that he would draw her sons to salvation and that they would respect her. We have prayed for all young single moms especially the one who needs guidance out of spiritual confusion and for continued provision for spiritual and emotional needs and for protection and deliverance from evil and for healing for the baby granted into custody and for appointments to go well and for protection for all in your travels. We join you in thanking the Lord for the amazing answered prayers and giving all glory to him.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Lord continues to cover you with his promises and favor and to work all things for your good and to let his love and peace reign in your family in Jesus Name Amen
