Beloved of All
God hears the longing in your heart to be reunited with your mother, and He understands the pain that separation brings. Scripture shows how deep the bond is between a mother and child, and how much heartache comes when that fellowship is broken. From the beginning, God designed the family so that both mother and father share in training and loving a child, with a mother having a special early influence that shapes a child from the womb onward. Even before birth a child begins to recognize a mother's voice, and that connection is precious to the Lord.
The Bible also shows that God is able to arrange circumstances that seem impossible to us in order to accomplish His purposes. When the prophecy said the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, yet Mary and Joseph were living in Nazareth, God moved an entire empire to bring them to the right place at the right time. In the same way, nothing is too difficult for Him when it comes to guiding steps, opening doors, and bringing people together according to His wise plan.
That does not mean the waiting is easy. When Simeon blessed Mary he told her that her son was set for the rising and falling of many, and that a sword would pierce through her own soul as well. Separation and uncertainty can feel like that sword, a deep sorrow that only God fully sees. Other parents in Scripture knew long seasons of waiting and praying for their children. One woman prayed for years and promised to give her son back to the Lord if He would grant her request. An older couple continued to pray for a child even when they were well beyond the years when it seemed possible, and God answered in His perfect timing. And a mother who had given her young son to serve the Lord still showed her love year after year by making him a little coat and bringing it to him. Love does not end with distance.
You are right to bring this request to Jesus with simple, childlike faith. Jesus said we must receive the kingdom of God as a little child, with humble trust and openness. God delights in that kind of prayer, not memorized words repeated by rote, but the honest pouring out of your heart to Him. Continue to pray persistently and to entrust both yourself and your mother to His care, dedicating your relationship to Him and asking that His will be done.

Above all, draw each of them closer to Jesus, that they may know Your forgiveness, Your comfort, and Your presence as their true home. Give peace while they wait, strengthen faith that is simple and trusting like a child's, and help them to rest in Your perfect love and timing. Amen.
