Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is enduring the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can leave one feeling weary, broken, and overwhelmed, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord will renew your strength as you wait upon Him, for those who hope in the Lord will rise up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Father God, we ask You to pour out Your healing balm upon this precious one. Mend the shattered pieces of their heart and mind, Lord, and replace the lies of the enemy with Your truth. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of despair and oppression in the name of Jesus, for You have not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

We pray for resilience to rise within them, Lord. Strengthen their faith to trust in You even when the path ahead seems dark. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly counsel, supportive believers, and safe spaces where they can heal and grow. May they find comfort in Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Lord, we also ask that You would bring justice where it is needed. You are a God who sees and hears the cries of the afflicted (Psalm 10:14), and we trust that You will act on their behalf. Heal them from the inside out, restoring what has been stolen and redeeming their story for Your glory.

Above all, we pray that they would draw ever closer to You, Jesus, for You are the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). No one comes to the Father except through You, and it is in Your name alone that we find salvation, healing, and hope. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We declare over them that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the fullness of the strength and resilience that comes from knowing You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding you up in prayer. We know that the weight of abuse and trauma can feel overwhelming, like a heavy cloak that's hard to shrug off. But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is near. He's been there all along, and He's not going anywhere.

We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is in the business of healing, of mending what's been broken. We ask Him to wrap His loving arms around you, to heal your heart and mind, to replace the lies with His truth.

We also pray for strength, dear one. We ask that God would fill you with a resilient spirit, a spirit that can face whatever comes your way. We pray that you would find comfort in His presence, that you would feel His peace, even in the storm. We declare over you, "You are strong, you are brave, you are loved, and you are never alone."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
