Renewed strength

Beloved of All
Asking for prayers for renewed strength and resilience to face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, in Jesus name amen

We stand with you in prayer and thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find our healing and strength.

We hear the weight of what you have carried through abuse and trauma, and we want you to know that God sees what you have endured, He does not take it lightly, and it was not your fault. The Lord is grieved by abuse and oppression, and He draws especially near to those who have been wounded. We pray that you will know His presence as your refuge and your safe place while He works to heal and restore you day by day.

Scripture reminds us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. When we feel faint and have no might left, He gives power to the weak and He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29. Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint Isaiah 40:31. And He says to us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Even in our weakness His grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9, and we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us Philippians 4:13.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. You know every wound, every memory, and every ongoing struggle that trauma has left behind. We ask You to pour out Your renewed strength and resilience upon them today. Uphold them with Your righteous right hand when they feel weary and overwhelmed. Heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds with Your tender mercy. Quiet the lies and fear that abuse has planted and replace them with Your truth, Your peace, and Your perfect love that casts out fear. Give them courage to wait upon You, to rest in You, and to mount up again with strength like eagles. Surround them with safe, godly community, wise counsel, and support that honors You, and lead them to trusted help if they continue to face unsafe circumstances. Let them feel Your nearness moment by moment and know that You are their strength and their portion forever. We thank You that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is at work in their weakness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue waiting on the Lord daily through prayer and His Word, even in small steps, and to remain connected to a trusted pastor or biblical counselor and safe believers who can walk with you in this healing journey. Resilience is not found in trying harder alone, but in abiding in Christ who renews us. If you are still in an unsafe situation, please reach out to safe and trusted help right away. The Lord is faithful to complete the healing He has begun in you, and we continue to pray that you will experience His restoring strength and peace in increasing measure.

We are holding your request close today. Living with the aftereffects of abuse and trauma takes so much strength, and it makes sense you would feel worn down and in need of renewal.

We want you to know resilience is not something you either have or lack. It is a process that can be learned and strengthened over time, often in small steps and through steady relationships. Many find it grows when there is at least one safe, caring person who listens and stays present, and as faith is lived out day by day in honest ways. You do not have to carry this alone or figure everything out at once.

If you have not already, it could help to reach out this week to one trusted person, a pastor, counselor or support group in your community who can walk with you consistently. Alongside prayer, talking with a trained helper can give you extra support as you process what you have been through. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach for help right away from a trusted person or local resources.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the pain they have carried and the strength it has taken to keep going. Grant renewed strength for each day, quiet rest, wisdom for next steps, and safe people to come alongside. Hold them close and guide their healing in Your care. Amen.

Your prayer for renewed strength and resilience under the heavy burden of abuse and trauma has been heard, and it is carried with tender care before the throne of grace.

There is a word that meets your case, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." If we are apart from God our strength will die out, but when we are linked to God and wait upon Him for everything, casting our nothingness upon His omnipotence, then shall we find our strength renewed. You cannot pray, you cannot endure, you cannot take a single step forward without some expenditure of strength, and therefore you need to have that strength renewed day by day. The outer man may decay, but the inward man is renewed day by day, that is grace.

Remember that God is the glory of our strength. All strength of every sort comes from Him. The Christian has no other strength than that which has come from God, and the glory of it must lie in God alone. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then fling yourself upon the divine strength and lay hold upon it. He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength. As thy days, so shall thy strength be. A day of little suffering, little strength, but in a tremendous day, a day that needs you to stand and endure, you shall have strength sufficient for that day. He gives strength just where the strength is needed, and of that peculiar kind which the trial demands.

As the eagle's strength is renewed, so shall yours be. The eagle's strength is renewed by the food it eats, so feed upon Christ and upon His Word. The eagle's strength is renewed by the air he breathes, not here below in this smoky atmosphere, but up there in the clear azure, so breathe the pure air of communion with God in prayer, waiting upon Him continually. And the joy of the Lord is your strength. Not a fleeting cheerfulness, but that deep inward joy which arises from knowing that you are His, that Christ died for the ungodly when we were yet without strength.

Let us pray together for you.

O blessed Father, look in mercy upon this wounded one who has known abuse and trauma and who now feels faint and spent. Thou seest the scars that others cannot see and the struggles that continue day by day. Fulfil Thy promise and renew strength, freshen it, fill it up, increase and establish it. Teach this dear soul to wait upon Thee, to submit wholly and to trust entirely, setting both strength and weakness aside and giving up all to be upheld by Thee. Impart Thy strength wisely and fitly, as Thou hast said, I will strengthen them. Let it be gradually received if it must be, but let it be surely given. Restore youth like the eagle's, give times of refreshing by Thy Spirit, and make the joy of the Lord to be a quiet, abiding strength within. When weakness is most felt, make Thy power most known, and give resilience not from nature but from grace, to endure, to heal, and to walk up and down in Thy name. Guard and keep, provide safe and godly help and counsel, and let no weapon formed against this life prosper beyond what Thy love permits. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sorrows and was wounded for our healing, we ask it. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for renewed strength and resilience in the face of ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma has been heard, and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord in Jesus name.

The Lord sees what you have endured and He is not distant from your pain. Scripture says He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, and that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. When you feel worn down and unable to go on, He is your refuge and your healer, able to renew your strength day by day.

Healing from deep wounds is often a process, like medicine applied faithfully over time. Even when you do not feel immediate change, God is at work as you continue to seek Him, hear His Word, and bring your hurts honestly to Him in prayer. As you keep turning to Christ, He can gradually restore what has been broken, strengthen your heart, and help you lay hold of the hope and life He promises. Do not lose heart if the fruit seems slow to appear. The Lord who sees the root is bringing growth that will be seen in time.

We are praying for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the abuse and trauma that has been suffered and the ongoing struggles that remain. We ask You to pour out Your comfort and peace, to renew strength where there is exhaustion, and to build resilience where there is weariness. Heal the wounds of heart and mind, quiet fear and painful memories with Your presence, and guard this life with Your protection. Give wisdom and support through faithful people around them, and help them to walk each day in Your grace, knowing they are deeply loved and not alone. Restore hope and lead them into wholeness in Christ. Amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer. May the Lord uphold you with His right hand, renew you with His strength, and fill you with His peace as you trust in Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer for renewed strength and resilience. What you have endured through abuse and trauma is a terrible and grievous wrong, and God sees the pain and the ongoing struggle you carry.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord Himself is the strength of your life, your light and your salvation, so you do not need to live in fear. He is your shield and your help when your heart trusts in Him, and that trust brings rejoicing. He promises to give strength to His people and to bless His people with peace. He is a strong tower and a shelter, a covering under which you can find safety as you abide with Him. May His Word become your daily strength and portion, and may you know His hand upon you to keep you, to give you His strength, His peace and His love.

God does not promise that we will be without adversity or hardship. Those who seek to live faithfully will face difficult days. The proverb warns that if we faint in the day of adversity, our strength is small. If we look only within ourselves for some inner reservoir of strength or rely only on our own wits, we will eventually come to a place where our own strength is not enough and we will fall. It is tragic to build your life on self reliance, because there will be situations your own resources cannot carry you through. But when your strength is in the Lord, you will not be brought to a place you cannot bear, because it is not your strength that sustains you. God will not let you down.

Scripture calls blessed the person whose strength is in God, who has learned his own weakness and has put his trust in the Lord. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, so we can even find reason to be grateful for weakness, because it reveals His power in us. When you pass through valleys of weeping and sorrow, He is able to turn those dry places into wells of refreshment, with pools of water in the desert. He leads those who trust Him from strength to strength.

Jesus revealed so much about healing in His ministry. He healed the sick, He touched those no one else would touch, He calmed what was out of control and He had authority over spiritual darkness. The prophet Isaiah said He bore our griefs and infirmities, and that truth includes both spiritual and physical healing. I believe deeply in healing, and that all true healing is from God. Sometimes healing comes at once, sometimes it comes gradually through the natural processes God Himself created in our bodies, and sometimes the deepest healing He does is in the mind and emotions, healing the scars and wounds left behind. He is the Lord who heals, and He becomes to you what your need requires, your healer and your salvation through Jesus Christ.

Giving glory and strength to the Lord helps you face your situation differently. When you ascribe greatness to Him as the One who reigns over all, you begin to see your problems in the light of His power rather than in the light of your own weakness and inability. Having His Word in your heart gives you strength in hours of trial, because you can return to what He has promised and find assurance there. Prayer is also a place of strength, where you bring every burden to the Lord and are moved from a sense of defeat to confidence and victory in Him.

I am praying for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You know the wounds left by abuse and trauma and the ongoing struggles that feel so heavy. Be near as strength and help, deliver and keep this soul under the covering of Your wings. Let Your Word be a source of strength and comfort each day. Give renewed strength and resilience, turn this valley of weeping into a place of refreshment, and lead from strength to strength. Bring healing in the way You know is best, whether gradually or through Your immediate touch, and do a deep healing in the mind and heart where scars remain. Fill this life with Your peace, Your love and Your presence, and let there be great rejoicing as You help and sustain. Amen.
