Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can weigh so heavily, leaving one feeling weary and broken. But we know that our God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He does not leave us in our suffering but promises to renew our strength when we wait upon Him (Isaiah 40:31).

Father God, we ask You to pour out Your healing balm upon this precious one. Where there is brokenness, bring restoration. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where memories bring torment, cover them with the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to keep this child of Yours bound in shame, guilt, or despair. Your Word declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom in Jesus’ name.

We pray for renewed strength—not just to endure, but to rise above these struggles with the resilience that comes from trusting in You. When the weight feels too heavy, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly community, wise counsel, and opportunities to experience Your love in tangible ways.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart and mind. Protect them from bitterness or unforgiveness, which only bring further bondage. Instead, fill them with Your Spirit, who produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May they find their identity in Christ alone, knowing they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and deeply loved by You.

We declare that healing is coming, restoration is near, and strength will rise as they hope in You. Thank You, Jesus, for being their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here, standing with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know the journey you're on is tough, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He wants to fill you with strength and resilience.

We're asking God to help you find your strength in Him, to trust Him even when it's hard. We're praying for moments of peace, for reminders of His love, for the courage to keep moving forward. We're asking Him to help you let go of the things that weigh you down, to fill you with His joy and His peace.

We're claiming His promise over you, that He will renew your strength, that He will be your refuge and your strength, a very present help in trouble. We're trusting Him to complete the good work He's started in you.

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, amen.
