Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we agree with you that only Jesus can set hearts free.

We are encouraged by your humility in acknowledging that education and position do not make anyone righteous before God, and that all have fallen short. As it is written, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Rom 3:23 and also God saw that education without the fear of the Lord can still lead to horrible sins, for there is no one righteous, no, not one Rom 3:10. Your prayer reflects the heart God desires, a broken and contrite heart as you quoted from Psalm 51:17, My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

We also rejoice that you came in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. You rightly prayed that the truth shall set them free, for Jesus also said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. And we cling to His promise, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled Matt 5:6.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up the team at the place mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives before Your throne of grace. Lord, You desire that all people be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4, and we ask that You would save those among them who are still bound by Satan's lies and bring them into the light of Your Son. We ask that You would break through every deception and let Your truth prevail in every heart and in every proceeding. For those who are already chosen and are Christians involved in this matter, we ask for Your precious covering, that You would give them peace that surpasses all understanding Phil 4:7 and wisdom and understanding that comes from above. Teach them and teach all involved to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate, to love truth and to hate what is evil in Your eyes.

Father, stir their hearts as only Your Holy Spirit can. Convict them of sin and grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance, that they would recognize their sins, hate their sins, and turn from living a sinful life. Forgive their sins through the blood of Jesus as they repent and turn to You, and let them not continue to disregard human life and honest communication. Create in them clean hearts and renew a right spirit within them Psalm 51:10. Give them, Lord, as we have prayed, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they would hunger for what is right and not be satisfied with lies or injustice.

We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us according to Your will Rom 8:26. We trust that You are just and that You will not despise a broken and contrite heart. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Your name be exalted on high through Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

When people entrusted with the law seem to use it without compassion or honesty, and human life feels disregarded, it is deeply disheartening. Thank you for bringing that grief honestly to the Father instead of holding it alone or letting it turn to bitterness.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for righteousness is a good and steady one to keep praying. Real change is not just feeling bad for a moment when caught or confronted, but a deeper turning of the heart and mind that then shows up in how a person lives. That kind of turning only God can work, and He hears when we ask Him to soften hearts to recognize wrong and truly want what is right.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst after truth and righteousness is a prayer which God delights to answer. Our Lord has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. This hunger is itself a blessing, for it shows that the soul is no longer content with trifles, but must have the essential Truth of God to be its only care. When that craving is wrought in the heart by Divine Grace, the old affections for pride and gain and vanity are expelled, and the soul pants after that which is holy and true.

You have well prayed that the truth shall set men free, for Christ Himself is the Truth into which the prepared mind must be delivered to receive form and shape from His perfect wisdom. Apart from Him there is no freedom, for He was pierced for men and by His great atoning Sacrifice pardon is freely given. Remember also that the Lord Jesus Christ lives to pray for sinners, and the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us. Your relentless prayer is therefore joined to a greater intercession in heaven, and you need not fear that it falls unheard.

You have quoted rightly from Psalm 51, My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. This is the very heart God requires and the very heart He will not despise. He does not delight in outward sacrifice, but in a heart that loathes its sin and hates it enough to turn from it. It is God alone who can strengthen the heart and work this brokenness within. The heart is the fountain of all else, and when it is weak or stony, every other part is affected, but He who asks, Give Me your heart, does so not for what He shall get from you, but for love of you and for your eternal benefit. Though the heart be foul and filthy, He says Give Me your heart, and when it is yielded freely and thoroughly, He cleanses and keeps it.

We join you in praying for the team and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We do not boast before God, for we also have fallen short of His glory, and we know that education cannot make a man righteous. Only grace can teach a man to be righteous and compassionate, to love honest communication and to regard human life as precious in the sight of God. We pray that the Lord will stir their hearts, that He will grant them to see their sin as God sees it, to mourn for it with a holy mourning, and to turn from it. May He give them that blessed thirst after righteousness which is fellowship with Christ Himself, who thirsted on the cross that righteousness might reign through His death.

Be of good courage, all you that hope in the Lord, for He shall strengthen your heart. Continue in relentless prayer, telling the Truth of God as you know it for yourself, and trusting Him to do His will. He is able to make even those who have been bound by Satan's lies to know the Truth and to be made free indeed by the Son.

We pray with you that the Lord would cover His chosen with the precious blood of Christ, give them peace and understanding, and keep them faithful. May He fulfill His promise to fill every soul that hungers and thirsts after righteousness, for Christ's sake. Amen.
