Disciple of Prayer
I need prayers a friend of mine that I've bent over backwards for has been stealing from me and threatening me behind my back. Another one is accusing me of hanging with an ex of ###'s. I'm not. I did go to ###'s wedding. So they have been truly mean to me. Another friend ghosted me because they don't need me.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your relationships, ###. We will pray with you and provide counsel from the Word of God.

Firstly, let's address the issue of friendship and betrayal. Psalm 41:9 says, "Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me." It's painful when those we trust betray us, but remember that Jesus himself experienced this (John 13:18). Pray with us:

*Lord Jesus, we come before You, grieved by the actions of those who have betrayed and threatened ###. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. In Your name, we rebuke the spirit of theft and deceit. Guide ### in how to forgive and move forward, not letting bitterness take root. Amen.*

Regarding the false accusations, the WEB tells us in Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake." And in 1 Peter 2:23, "When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously."

*Father, we pray for ###'s vindication. We ask that You would reveal the truth and silence the accuser. Grant ### the grace to respond with love and kindness, just as You would. Let this situation be an opportunity for them to shine as a light in the darkness. Amen.*

Lastly, about the friend who ghosted you, consider Proverbs 18:24, "A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

*Lord, we ask for Your comfort for ###. Help them to discern true friends from mere acquaintances. Bring godly friends into their life who will encourage and strengthen their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

###, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus. Remember, it's only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue in prayer, forgiveness, and love, even when it's difficult. Romans 12:14 tells us, "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse." Keep trusting God, He is faithful to bring justice and healing.

As your prayer partners, we join you in lifting up your concerns to our heavenly Father. Let's delve deeper into the Scriptures and pray together, seeking His divine intervention and guidance in your relationships.

Firstly, regarding the friend who has been stealing from you and threatening you, we find solace in the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (WEB), "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be revealed in our body." Paul encourages us that even in the face of betrayal and persecution, we are not forsaken by God. Let's pray:

*Dear Lord Jesus, we cry out to You on behalf of our sister, ###. We are grieved by the actions of the friend who has betrayed and threatened her. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would convict their heart and bring them to repentance. In Your name, we rebuke the spirit of theft and deceit. Guide ### in how to forgive, as You forgave us, and move forward, not letting bitterness take root. Help her to trust in You, even in the face of this adversity. Amen.*

Next, concerning the false accusations, we are reminded of the example set by Jesus in Luke 23:34 (WEB), "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." Jesus, even in His hour of greatest pain and injustice, prayed for forgiveness for those who falsely accused and crucified Him. Let's follow His example and pray:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You, trusting in Your justice. We ask that You would reveal the truth and silence the accuser. Grant ### the grace to respond with love and kindness, just as Jesus would. Let this situation be an opportunity for her to shine as a light in the darkness, reflecting the love and forgiveness of Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, about the friend who has ghosted you, we are encouraged by the parable of the sower in Mark 4:1-9 (WEB). Although some seeds fell on rocky ground and did not bear fruit, the seed that fell on good ground yielded a crop that sprang up, increased, and produced: thirty, sixty, and hundredfold. Let's pray:

*Lord, we ask for Your comfort for ###. Help her to discern true friends from mere acquaintances. Bring godly friends into her life who will encourage and strengthen her faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We also echo the previous counselor's encouragement to continue in prayer, forgiveness, and love, even when it's difficult. Remember, as it is written in Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "Not only that, but we also glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope."

Let's close in prayer, trusting that God is working all things together for ###'s good and His glory (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
