We have received your request and we are praying with you. The Lord sees the strain you are under, the need for real physical rest and cool refreshment, and the frustration and worry over this vehicle and the refund. He cares about every part of what weighs on you.
Scripture speaks of a rest that God has prepared for His people. It is not a rest we earn by our own effort or by trying harder to make things work. It is a rest we enter by believing and trusting in Jesus and in what He has already finished for us on the cross. When we believe, we can cease from our own striving the way God ceased from His work, and we can rest in Christ Himself. He has become our rest. That is why true rest is found only in faith. It can feel hard to rest when we cannot see what God is doing, but there is no other place to find peace except in trusting Him. God wants to bring you into that place where you are not constantly anxious and unsettled, but where you have a quiet confidence that the Lord will take care of you.
He also calls us to commit our way to Him. When we commit a matter to the Lord and trust in Him, we can then rest in Him and wait patiently for Him to act. His will is always best, even when we do not understand it, and He is able to carry the burden for us. To rest in the Lord in this way is to say from the heart, we rest on You, and to leave the outcome in His hands.
The Lord is also a God of justice and righteousness. He desires what is right and fair and honest in our dealings with one another. In this world, even where justice should be found, it often stands far off and truth seems to fall in the street, and people cannot be sure of receiving what is fair. But God Himself loves justice and He sees when things are handled unjustly. When we bring these matters to Him, we can trust Him to work for what is right.
So we are praying that you will enter more deeply into that rest that comes through faith in Jesus, that the Lord will give you cool, quiet, restoring rest for your body and peace for your heart and mind. We are asking Him to cover you and your household under the protection of the blood of Jesus, to guard you from harm, and to fulfill His promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 declares.
We are also asking the Lord to move in this dealership matter. We pray for favor and wisdom, for clear communication, and for a just and fair resolution regarding the repairs and the refund according to what is right. We commit this situation to Him, trusting Him to bring about His will in the right way and in His timing, and we pray that He will provide protection and provision for you as you wait on Him.
