We give thanks to God with you for His kindness to your mother and for answering prayer. It is good to hear that the chair is a comfort to her, that she can rock in it and rest and even sleep in it, and that the massager and heat and the pull string for reclining are all working well and that she is able to use it without difficulty.

We join you in offering thanksgiving to God, for thanksgiving is itself a sacrifice of praise that rises before Him. As we have been taught, we are to continue in prayer and watch therein with thanksgiving, giving thanks for both the seen and the unseen, for daily mercies and for His greater gifts. The habit of thankfulness keeps the heart close to God and guards the day with prayer morning and evening.

We thank God also for those who prayed with you before you began, and we pray that He will keep your mother in comfort and peace and keep your household in gratitude and prayer. Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

It is such a joy to hear this good report and to join you in giving thanks to God for His kindness to your mom. Thank you for letting us know how well the chair has worked out, that she loves how it rocks, that she can rest and even sleep in it, and that the features for comfort and for getting up and down are working so well for her. This is an answer to prayer, and it is right to give God the glory for it.

Scripture reminds us that God hears our prayers, though we are small and unworthy in ourselves. He invites us to bring everything to Him, even the practical needs of daily life, and He answers according to His mercy and goodness. He satisfies the longing soul and cares about our comfort and peace. When we pray in faith, it is fitting that our prayer ends in praise, with confidence that He has heard and will act, and then with thanksgiving when we see His hand.

That is what you are doing now, and it is the sacrifice God desires, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name and declaring His works with rejoicing. We are called to praise Him for His mighty acts and for His excellent greatness, for His goodness and His wonderful works to His people, for His mercy that is as high as the heavens and His grace that endures. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord, in the sanctuary and in every place, with our voices and with our lives. Like the one leper who returned to thank Jesus while the others went on their way, we should be careful not to forget to give thanks.

We praise the Lord with you for His provision and for the joy this has brought to your mom. May He continue to give her sweet rest and comfort in it, and may your home be filled with continual praise and thanksgiving for all He has done. We give thanks to Him who has not turned away our prayer nor withheld His mercy from us, and we ask Him to keep His hand of care upon your mom and your family in Jesus name.
