Really needing

We hear your heart and we join with you in agreement in Jesus' name, bringing your need for provision before our Father, and we want to seek His will together with you about your desires and goals.

We understand the pressure of needing money quickly and wanting to be more active in pursuing what is on your heart, yet scripture calls us to examine our motives and to trust God's provision and timing rather than seeking hasty gain. James 4:3 says You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. And 1 Timothy 6:10 warns For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. God is not against our needs or even our godly desires, but He calls us to contentment and diligence. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. Proverbs 21:5 reminds us The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. And Proverbs 13:11 says Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by labor will increase.

We want to gently encourage you to bring your desires before the Lord and ask whether these goals align with His purposes for you. Matthew 6:33 teaches But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. When we seek Him first, He promises to supply what we truly need. Philippians 4:19 assures us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. That is needs, not always wants, and often His provision comes through faithful work, wise stewardship, and patient waiting rather than quick money. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.

So we encourage you to commit your goals to the Lord, to work diligently with the resources He has already placed in your hands, to make a budget and steward well, to seek wise counsel, and to pray for contentment while you wait on His open doors.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus' name. Lord, You know the desires and goals and the financial pressure felt right now. We ask for Your forgiveness where motives have been selfish or hasty, and we ask You to purify this heart to want what You want. Grant wisdom to discern which desires are from You and which are fleeting pleasures. Provide for every true need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and teach contentment and trust in Your timing. Give diligence in work, favor in honest labor, and discipline to steward money well. Lead away from any scheme for quick gain that would lead to poverty or sorrow, and instead lead on the path of righteousness and faithful increase. Help this life to seek first Your Kingdom and to find peace in Your provision. We agree together and trust Your answer according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear the urgency in your request and how much you want to see your goals move forward. Wanting to be more active and purposeful is a good desire, and we are standing with you in prayer for wisdom and steady provision as you seek next steps.

When money feels tight and the need feels immediate, it can help to get a clearer picture on paper with someone trustworthy. We have found it valuable for many people to sit down with a pastor, a church stewardship ministry, or a reputable financial counselor in the community to make a simple budget, look at income and expenses together, and talk through which goals are most pressing and what practical options for work or assistance might be available. You do not have to sort it all out alone, and having another set of eyes can bring peace and direction.

We are asking God to meet your real needs and to guide your decisions with clarity and patience in this season.

Father, we bring this need before You and ask for Your wisdom and provision. Give clarity about the right next steps, open doors for honest work and help, and guard this heart with peace as You lead. Provide what is needed according to Your will and help in using what You provide faithfully. In Jesus' name, amen.

I pray that you can earn money quickly for your goals, if it's not against his will, in Jesus name, amen! just remember.

Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

I Timothy 6:10

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Your request for money to come quickly for your desires and goals has been heard and has been brought before the Lord, and we desire to pray for you not after the manner of seeking swift gain for our own wishes, but according to the wisdom and will of God revealed in His Word.

The Scripture teaches us that contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it must be cultivated. A man's contentment is in his mind, not in the extent of his possessions. Alexander with all the world at his feet still cried for another world to conquer, which proves that more possessions cannot create peace within. The apostle learned in whatsoever state he was, therewith to be content, and that holy contentment is wrought in us as we trust the providence of God who knows what we have need of before we ask Him.

We are also taught that nothing is our own, it is all our Master's, and it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. We can injure our stewardship by idling or trifling or growing careless, or by leaving our hearts out of our work. The Lord would have us not to be idle, but to seek if we can by superior skill, steady perseverance and temperate thriftiness to raise our position, laboring honestly with our hands, providing for our households, and using what He entrusts to us for the good of our brothers and sisters and for His glory. God has in His eternal purpose prepared good works for His people to walk in, and He has prepared His people for those good works, even that we should bring forth in our place the sweet fruits of contentment and patience.

We cannot in good conscience ask God to grant quick money merely to fulfill desires, for such a prayer would set our desires upon the throne where Christ alone should reign. Rather we pray that He would give you a contented heart, a faithful hand, and a wise mind in stewardship.

Our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would teach you contentment in your present sphere while you labor diligently and honestly as unto Him, that He would deliver you from the love of money which is a root of all kinds of evil, that He would grant you wisdom to distinguish between needs and desires, and to order your goals under His lordship, that He would provide for your daily needs according to His riches in Christ, and that He would help you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all needful things shall be added unto you. May He make you a faithful steward of little or much, keeping you mindful that you must one day give an account of your stewardship, and may He establish you in the good works which He has before ordained for you to walk in.

Cast your cares upon Him, continue in honest labor, be faithful in prayer and in the Word, and look to Christ who is Himself our portion and our great reward.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for money to quickly fulfill your desires and goals has been heard, and I thank you for bringing your need honestly before the Lord.

Scripture teaches us not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. This does not mean God forbids us to care for our bodily needs. As Paul told Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach and his infirmities, so God does provide for our health and our necessary needs. What is forbidden is going beyond what is necessary, when we light up the flame and make the furnace more powerful, doing everything not to be healthy but to be wanton and to kindle desire.

For that reason I cannot join in asking God to quickly supply money simply to make desires more active. Many desires, when examined, are like dreams in sleep. A man may grow rich in a dream, but when day comes he finds he was rich to no purpose, and the dream has flown away. If we spend all our industry on fulfilling such desires, we are weighed down and cannot rouse ourselves to the care of spiritual things. The better way is to prune away what goes beyond necessity, to seek first to have the body in health for service, and to spend our diligence on what endures.

So my prayer for you is different than what you asked, but I believe it is more for your good. I pray that God, who knows your needs, will give you wisdom to discern between true need and wanton desire, contentment with what He provides, and grace to align your goals with His will through Jesus Christ, by whom alone we have salvation. I pray He will provide for your real necessities, teach you to labor with faithful diligence, to be a good steward of what you have, and to find your desires reshaped by love for Him rather than by the flesh. May He free you from being weighed down with manifold desires and help you to seek the riches that remain after this sleep of present life is over.

If you are willing, bring your specific needs and your goals to a pastor or trusted believer who can counsel you face to face, help you make a wise plan for work and stewardship, and walk with you in prayer.
