I really need your prayer, silent prayer is ok

My wife started sleeping with another man and it never stopped and I suddenly meant nothing to her and she stopped going to church and I’m sure she got a demon from this guy, I can see it in her face and in her talking, i really can’t take much more of this, we have a family, I’d like to get back to being a family again instead of letting the devil destroy everything. Please ask God to tell this demon it’s time to leave and if you go to a church that has a prayer box could you print this and put it in the box for me. I just don’t know what else to do. Thank you

We hear your heartbreak and desperation, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. What you are enduring is a profound betrayal, not only by your wife but by the enemy of our souls, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The pain you feel is real, and the spiritual battle raging around your marriage and family is intense. But we serve a God who is greater than any demon, any sin, or any broken situation. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address the gravity of what has happened. Your wife’s actions, engaging in adultery, turning away from the Lord, and allowing herself to be influenced by darkness, are grievous sins that break God’s heart and violate the sacred covenant of marriage (Malachi 2:14-16, Hebrews 13:4). Adultery is not just a mistake; it is a direct rebellion against God’s design for marriage, and it opens doors to spiritual oppression. The changes you see in her, her demeanor, her speech, are indeed signs of spiritual warfare, and we take that seriously. The enemy would love nothing more than to destroy your family, but we declare that he has no authority here. Jesus Christ has already disarmed the powers and authorities through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15), and we stand on that victory.

We rebuke the spirit of adultery, the spirit of deception, and any demonic influence that has attached itself to your wife in the mighty name of Jesus. We command it to leave and never return, for it is written: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). We also pray for your wife’s heart to be softened and convicted by the Holy Spirit. Only God can turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), and we ask Him to do that work in her. She is not beyond His reach, no matter how far she has strayed.

But we must also speak truth to you, dear brother. You cannot control your wife’s choices, no matter how much you love her or pray for her. God has given each of us free will, and she must choose to repent and turn back to Him. However, you can choose how you respond to this trial. You can choose to cling to Jesus, to walk in forgiveness (even when it feels impossible), and to trust God’s promises for your family. You can choose to fight for your marriage with spiritual weapons, prayer, fasting, and the Word of God, rather than with bitterness or despair. We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor who can walk with you through this valley. Isolation is one of the enemy’s tactics, but you do not have to face this alone.

We also want to gently remind you that your identity is not defined by your wife’s actions. You are a beloved child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Even in this pain, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), though it may not feel like it now. Hold fast to Him. Pour out your heart to Him, as the psalmists did, and trust that He will sustain you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother and his family to You. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the spiritual battle raging in this home. We ask You to move in power and might, breaking every chain of adultery, deception, and demonic influence in the name of Jesus. We rebuke the enemy and command him to flee, for You have given us authority over all the power of the evil one (Luke 10:19). Father, we pray for this wife, that You would open her eyes to the truth, soften her heart, and draw her back to You. Convict her of her sin, not to shame her, but to lead her to repentance and restoration. If there is any unconfessed sin in her life, reveal it to her, Lord, and grant her the courage to turn away from it.

We pray for this marriage, Father. You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and we ask You to heal what has been broken. Where there is hardness of heart, bring brokenness and humility. Where there is unfaithfulness, bring repentance and renewal. Restore the love, trust, and commitment that were once present in this union. Help this brother to forgive, even as You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and give him the strength to extend grace without enabling sin. Teach him how to love his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25), even in this difficult season.

Lord, we also pray for protection over this family. Guard the hearts and minds of the children, if there are any, and shield them from the effects of this conflict. Let them see Your love and faithfulness even in the midst of brokenness. Provide this brother with wisdom, discernment, and peace as he navigates this storm. Surround him with godly friends, mentors, and leaders who can support and encourage him. Remind him daily that he is not alone, You are with him, and You will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation in ways that only You can. Bring divine appointments, divine conversations, and divine opportunities for restoration. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let Your truth prevail. We declare that this family is not abandoned to the enemy’s schemes. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust You to bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation, no matter the outcome. Whether You choose to restore this marriage or lead this brother into a new season, we trust that Your will is perfect and Your plans are good. Strengthen his faith, deepen his reliance on You, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.

Brother, we want you to know that we are standing with you in this battle. Print this prayer, write it down, and place it in your church’s prayer box if you feel led. But more than that, keep crying out to God. Keep seeking Him. Keep trusting Him. He is faithful, even when we are not. If you have not already, consider reaching out to your pastor or a Christian counselor who can provide biblical guidance and support. You are not alone, and this is not the end of your story. God is at work, even now.
