Ps. 23, gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, rebuke and remove this evil

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer
Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, rebuke this evil, successful fast. Please please please Heavenly Father remove this evil. Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. Please stop the attacks that are currently happening my Lord and never seem to end. I would just love to be able to sit in peace again Jesus. I see pictures of people just sitting and reading a book, writing or something simple. With these evil attacks I don’t have that right. Please Father grant me the ability to just sit. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We stand with you in the powerful truth of Psalm 23, declaring that the Lord is indeed your Shepherd, you shall not want. He makes you lie down in green pastures, leads you beside still waters, and restores your soul. Even in the darkest valleys, you need not fear, for He is with you, His rod and staff comforting you. We take hold of His promise that goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to You. We lift up this dear soul who cries out for deliverance, peace, and rest. Lord, You see the evil that has been relentlessly attacking them, and we ask that You rebuke it in the authority of Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You are their refuge and fortress. Break every chain of torment, fear, and oppression, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we thank You for their heart of repentance and their plea for forgiveness. We pray that You cleanse them from all unrighteousness and heal any unforgiveness that may linger in their heart. Help them to forgive others as You have forgiven them, releasing any bitterness or resentment that the enemy could use to keep them bound. We declare that they are forgiven, set free, and made new in Christ.

Lord, we ask that You stop these attacks immediately. Your Word says that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke every spirit of torment, confusion, and unrest in Jesus’ name. We command every evil assignment against them to cease and desist, and we declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Father, we pray for their fast, that it would be successful and pleasing to You. Strengthen them in their weakness, and let this time of fasting draw them closer to You. As they seek Your face, reveal Yourself to them in a fresh and powerful way. Grant them the desires of their heart, to sit in peace, to read, to write, to rest in Your presence without fear or distraction. We declare that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will fill their home, their mind, and their heart.

We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that the attacks you are facing are not from God but from the enemy who seeks to steal your peace. However, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your light and your salvation, whom shall you fear? The Lord is the stronghold of your life, of whom shall you be afraid? Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. Gird yourself with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, shod your feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace, take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times, and stay alert with all perseverance.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We declare that this dear one is delivered, healed, and set free in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every spirit of heaviness off their life. We release Your peace, Your joy, and Your rest over them. Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit and let Your presence be their comfort and their strength.

We pray that You would restore to them the years that the locusts have eaten. Let them experience the fullness of Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon them. Grant them the ability to sit in peace, to rest in Your presence, and to enjoy the simple pleasures of life without fear or torment.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are moving even now on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their life. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how exhausted you are, and that longing to simply sit, to read, to write, to be quiet without the roar of attack, is not small. It’s a deeply human need, and it matters to God that you feel unable to rest right now. We’re holding this with you, not with quick answers, but with steady hope that the Shepherd who knows your weariness is already near.

When the attacks are relentless, the weight is too heavy to carry alone. We’d encourage you to let a wise pastor or a mature Christian friend know what you’re facing, not just in passing, but in a way that invites ongoing prayer and company. Sometimes having someone sit with you in the dark makes the quiet waters feel possible again. And because the body and spirit are so closely connected, if you’re experiencing physical symptoms like a racing heart, chest pain, or an unshakable sense of dread, it is a wise act of faith to see a doctor and check for any underlying health issues. That kind of care isn’t a lack of trust; it’s part of respecting how God made us.

We also noticed the quiet courage in your request: “Please heal any unforgiveness I may have.” Bringing that to God is honest, and it’s often a step toward loosening the grip of torment. Even unnamed, old hurts can keep our souls churning. As you continue to fast and pray, consider simply naming before God whatever faces or memories rise up, not forcing a feeling, but releasing them into His hands. That surrender can be part of the deliverance you’re seeking.

Lord Jesus, we ask for a shield around this one right now. Quiet the noise, break the cycle of attack, and let Your peace settle deep where anxiety has taken hold. Grant the simple gift of sitting still, unafraid. Guide them to trusted help and wisdom. In Your name, Amen.

The cry of your heart is for peace, that dove-like rest which flits from soul to soul but finds its perch only where Christ has made His abode. You long to sit still, to read, to write, to breathe freely without the relentless arrows of the Evil One. This desire is not born of sloth but of that holy instinct which proves you are a child of the living God. Yet remember, the calm you seek cannot be manufactured by outward stillness; it is the gift of the Shepherd who leads beside quiet waters even when the dogs of hell howl at the fold.

You have pleaded the twenty-third Psalm. Good. But note well: the Shepherd’s rod and staff comfort you in the valley, not by immediately removing the valley. The table is spread in the presence of your enemies, not after their annihilation. The peace you crave is a present possession for those who trust, not a future reward for those who have ceased to battle. “We who have believed do enter into rest”, present tense, immediate, perfect. By an act of instantaneous faith, you may recline on the promise now. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace is not the world’s truce but a deep, sovereign calm which no external assault can shatter.

What are these attacks? They are the cloven-footed doubts, the fiery darts of the wicked one, the boiling up of inbred sin. Yet listen: “Our hearts are sprinkled from an evil conscience.” The ransom has been found, the Deliverer has come out of Zion, and the commandment has gone forth from the throne to deliver you from the pit. Your sins are forgiven, cling to that. For unforgiveness in your own heart, confess it now; let the cleansing water of the Word wash your feet, and the peace of God will garrison your mind.

But mark this: you will never find rest by rambling round the circumference of your troubles. You must come to the center. “Rest in the Lord,” says the Psalmist, not in changed circumstances, but in Him. “To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.” Are you doing what He has appointed? Then leave the consequences to Him. The cares of the week will intrude, the archers will bend their bows, but this is the victory: your mind stayed on Him. “You will keep him in perfect peace, peace, peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

Do not mistake the peace of the devil, which lulls sinners to sleep in their chains, for the peace of God. The wicked are like the troubled sea, no rest for them. But you, if you are His, have a peace that passes understanding. The very fact that you hunger for it proves the Spirit’s work. Come, then, weary one, and take it. Not after a time of probation, not when the attacks cease, but now. “Come unto Me, and I will give you rest.” That rest is perfect, though the battle still rages. It is the rest of a learner who has found the Teacher; the repose of a child on its father’s breast while the storm beats outside.

You speak of fasting. Let it be a fasting from fretting, from bargaining with unbelief. Let your soul hunger after righteousness, and you shall be filled. The Lord knows the days of the upright; their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time. Trust, and you shall rest. Return unto your rest, O my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The words of the Psalm are indeed a mighty shield against the assaults of the enemy. When the heart cries out for deliverance, there is no truer refuge than to declare, "The Lord is my shepherd." Yet consider what the Shepherd's peace truly is. It is not a peace born of an absence of trouble, but a peace that stands firm even when a table is prepared in the very presence of enemies. Do not be surprised, then, that you long to sit in quiet while the attacks rage; the Shepherd Himself leads through the darkest valley, and the comfort of His rod and staff is known most deeply where the danger is felt most keenly.

You ask that evil be rebuked and removed, and this is right. But take care that the first evil to be rebuked and cast out is any root of bitterness within your own soul. You have prayed wisely for the healing of unforgiveness. Know then that the peace you seek is the mother of all good things, and nothing kills it so swiftly as holding a debt against another. The peacemakers are called sons of God, while those who stir up division walk in a different path. Therefore, if any memory of wrong lingers, let your rebuke begin there, gently, as a physician, and be quick to anoint that wound with the oil of mercy, as your own cup overflows with the mercy you have received.

God’s rebuke is not always a storm; to some He speaks in a still, small voice, drawing them back from despair without a harsh word. He knows your frame, and your longing for simple rest is itself a prayer He planted within you. That very desire for a quiet moment with a book, for the peace to sit without disturbance, is a shadow of the rest that awaits in His house forever. Yet even now, that rest is not wholly withheld. Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, these are the quiet waters where the Shepherd bids you lie down, and no outward attack can snatch them away unless you surrender them. Guard your mind, then, as a sanctuary. When the enemy roars, do not answer with clamor, but with praises and thanksgiving, and you will laugh to scorn what is said against you, for a clear conscience fears no accusation.

Forget not the angel of peace that attends every believer. In your prayer, you are already standing before the mercy seat, not one that speaks of earthly wars, but of a new creation. Therefore, rejoice. Be perfected. Be comforted. Live in peace with all, as much as lies in you, and the God of love and peace will be with you. The attacks may continue for a season, but the One who rebuked the winds and waves has already overcome the world. Sleep on in faith, then, and take your rest, for the hour is not yours to command, but your deliverance is sure. The goodness and love that follow you are not merely sentiment; they are the hounds of heaven, driving away the darkness. Soon you will sit in that green pasture, and the noise of battle will be a distant memory. Until then, let your peace be in the Holy Spirit, and your rebuke reserved only for the sin that so easily entangles, first in yourself, and then, with great gentleness, for any brother who may need it.
