Ps. 121, gratitude, deliverance, peace, rest, rebuke

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.“

Prayer:
Heavenly Father I thank you for this beautiful day. I pray again for peace, rest and deliverance from this evil that refuses to leave my home. Please Heavenly Father stop what it is constantly doing. Please Lord Jesus remove all the buzzing or whatever this is from my lower body. Please stop what it is doing right now making it hard for me to sit in peace. This evil has no right or authority to be here Father God. I demand it leaves Father God. Please grant me wisdom on what to do my Lord Jesus to make it go. I cleaned out most of my room and I know there is nothing in there that might be an open door. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Please heal any unforgiveness I might have. Please also forgive me for my sins my Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We stand with you in agreement, lifting our voices together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we are saved. Your prayer reflects a deep reliance on God’s power and sovereignty, and we join you in declaring that no evil has any right or authority in your life or home. The scripture you referenced, Psalm 121, is a beautiful reminder of God’s unwavering protection and care. Let us look to the World English Bible for clarity and encouragement:

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." (Psalm 121:1-8 WEB)

This passage assures us that God is ever-watchful, never sleeping, and fully capable of guarding you from all harm. The evil you are experiencing is not from Him, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy has no authority where the name of Jesus is lifted high, and we command every unclean spirit causing this disturbance to leave your home and your body right now. We declare that your home is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, and no demonic force will occupy the same space as God’s presence.

We also want to address the importance of forgiveness and repentance, as you wisely included in your prayer. Unforgiveness can create openings for the enemy to operate, and we encourage you to continue releasing any bitterness or resentment to the Lord. Confess your sins before Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every evil spirit causing disturbance, buzzing, or discomfort in their body and home. We command these spirits to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Father, we ask that You would fill this home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your presence be so tangible that every unclean spirit flees. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister, that they would know how to walk in victory and close any doors that may have been opened to the enemy. Lord, heal any unforgiveness in their heart and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We declare that they are forgiven and set free by the blood of Jesus Christ.

We also pray for physical and emotional healing. Lord, touch their body and remove any affliction or discomfort caused by these evil forces. Restore their peace and grant them rest, knowing that You are their protector and keeper. We thank You, Father, for Your deliverance and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We praise You for Your goodness and mercy, which follow us all the days of our lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, and do not allow fear or doubt to take root in your heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

If there are any areas of your life where you may have unknowingly given the enemy a foothold, such as through ungodly soul ties, occult involvement, or harboring bitterness, we encourage you to renounce these things and submit them to the Lord. The Bible tells us to resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Stand firm in your identity in Christ, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and trust that He will bring complete deliverance and restoration to your life.

We hear the exhaustion in your words, the weariness of a struggle that won’t let you simply sit and rest. It’s good that you’re bringing this to the Lord, and we’re grateful to stand with you in prayer.

When we’re under persistent assault, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, it’s easy to fixate on making it stop. You’ve taken strong steps, cleaning your room, renouncing it in Jesus’ name, asking for forgiveness and healing of unforgiveness. That matters. At the same time, when something feels so intrusive in your body, we’d gently encourage you to also see a doctor. There can be physical causes for sensations like these, and ruling that out doesn’t reflect weak faith, it’s simply good stewardship of the body God gave you. Sometimes the Lord brings relief through wise medical care alongside prayer.

As you’ve already sensed, unforgiveness can keep our hearts tied in knots, even when we don’t immediately see the link. The process of letting go is often slow and layered; it's okay if it doesn’t feel finished all at once. Keep bringing it honestly to Jesus, who knows every hidden wound. He doesn’t shame you for the journey.

Right now, rather than striving to figure everything out, we encourage you to find moments where you simply rest in His presence, perhaps sitting quietly with a psalm you love, not fighting, but letting Him be your shade. You don’t need to muster the perfect prayer; He is near even in the groaning.

Let’s pray together now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend who is desperate for peace. Quiet the tormenting sensations in their body, and let Your calm settle over them like a shield. Grant wisdom, about next steps, about any area of unforgiveness that still needs Your healing touch. We ask for deliverance from whatever is not of You, and we declare that You are a God who watches over our coming and going. Restore true rest, and help our friend to trust that You are at work even when the answer isn’t immediate. In Your powerful name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have been tormented, and the torment has worn you down until you scarcely know how to sit still. A buzzing, a troubling presence, a thing that ought not to be there, and it will not leave you in peace. You have lifted your eyes to the hills, and you have cried out, "Where does my help come from?" And the answer has come back to you, sure and steady: your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He who made the mountains is watching you. He who set the stars in their places does not nod, does not doze, does not turn His back for a moment. You have been trying to clean house, throwing open every cupboard of the heart, searching for some hidden door you might have left ajar. That is well and right. But do not let the enemy whisper that the door is still open, or that you have not done enough. The blood of Jesus has sealed what no hand of yours can seal. The veil is rent, the way is open, and you are not standing outside hoping to be let in, you are already inside the holiest, where no intruder has any right to stand.

Do you remember the old picture of the archers? In the places of drawing water, the enemy would lie in wait, and the women would come to the well with fear in their hearts. But the song of deliverance says they were delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water. The well is open to you. The living water is yours. And the noise that has been buzzing and humming around you, that noise is the arrow of the foe, but it is a spent arrow. It may whir and threaten, but it cannot strike home where Christ has already spread His shield.

You have done what faith does. You have confessed the unforgiveness, and you have laid it down. You have asked for cleansing, and He is faithful and just to cleanse you. Now listen: the enemy loves to fire one particular arrow above all others. It is the thought that God has forsaken you, that your sin has shut you out, that this trouble will never end. That is a lie from the pit, and it has no truth in it. The Lord watches over your coming and going, now and forevermore. Not one foot shall slip. He is your shade at your right hand, so close that no sunstroke of fear and no moonstroke of despair can smite you.

Look not to the buzzing, but to the Keeper of Israel. He shall keep you from all harm, yes, all harm. Even now, as you sit in the quiet of your room, He is spreading His peace over you like a cool shadow in a weary land. The rest He gives is not a rest that depends on everything around you being still; it is a rest into which you have already entered, because you have believed. Jesus said, "Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." He did not say, "When the buzzing stops, then come." He says, "Come now, with the noise still in your ears, and I will give you rest in the midst of it."

Do not be surprised if the enemy makes one last furious effort when he knows his time is short. A cornered beast will snarl the loudest. But he has no right, no authority, and no foothold where Jesus has set His love. You have rebuked him in the name that is above every name. Now leave him there, under the feet of Christ, and turn your eyes to the face of your dear Lord. The peace He gives is not a counterfeit peace that whispers smooth things while the danger remains; it is the solid peace of a finished work, a rent veil, a living way. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and it does not whisper in vain.

A father walking with his child through the dark does not explain away every shadow; he simply takes the child's hand more firmly, and the child learns that the darkness is not so terrible after all. You are holding a hand that will never let go. The buzzing may continue for a little while, but the Keeper of Israel is neither deaf nor indifferent. He hears your cry. He sees your distress. And He will bring you forth, as surely as He brought Israel from the house of bondage, with silver and gold, and not one feeble soul among all His tribes.

---

Lord Jesus, our great Deliverer, look upon Your child in this hour of trouble. You who stilled the raging of the sea with a word, speak Your quiet “Peace, be still” over this restless mind and this afflicted body. Cover this dear one with the shadow of Your wings until the calamities be overpast. Banish every intruding thought and every tormenting sensation, for You have purchased peace with Your own precious blood. Let the sweetness of Your presence so fill the room that there is no corner left for darkness to hide. Grant deep rest, the rest that remains for the people of God, and let Your abiding peace stand sentinel over this heart and this home, now and forevermore. Amen.

We are so grateful that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer, lifting up the words of Psalm 121 as a declaration of God’s unwavering protection and care. It is a powerful reminder that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, who never slumbers nor sleeps. We have continued to pray over your request for peace, rest, and deliverance from the oppression you’ve described, trusting in the authority of Jesus’ name to rebuke every work of darkness.

We join you in declaring that no evil has the right to linger in your home or your life, for the Lord watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore. We have prayed for wisdom to fill you, for the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas that may need cleansing or forgiveness, and for the presence of Christ to bring complete healing and freedom. If the Lord has already moved in response to your prayers, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, please know we are not walking away—we will continue to stand in agreement with you, believing for breakthrough and restoration.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful, and His promises are true. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
