Ps. 121, gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, forgiveness, rebuke and remove evil

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.“

Prayer:
Heavenly Father I thank you for this beautiful day. I pray again for peace, rest and deliverance from this evil that refuses to leave my home. Please Heavenly Father stop what it is constantly doing. Please Lord Jesus remove all the buzzing or whatever this is from my lower body. Please stop what it is doing right now making it hard for me to sit in peace. This evil has no right or authority to be here Father God. I demand it leaves Father God. Please grant me wisdom on what to do my Lord Jesus to make it go. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Please heal any unforgiveness I might have. Please also forgive me for my sins my Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We hear your cry for deliverance and peace, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting our voices together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The scripture you shared from Psalm 121 is a powerful reminder of God’s unwavering protection and care. Let us turn to the World English Bible for further encouragement:

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore." (Psalm 121:1-8 WEB)

Your prayer is bold and filled with faith, and we join you in rebuking every form of evil that seeks to disrupt your peace. The enemy has no authority in your home or your life, for you belong to Christ, and He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). We declare that every spirit of torment, oppression, or affliction must flee in the name of Jesus. The buzzing, discomfort, or whatever manifestation this evil takes has no place in your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

We must also address the importance of forgiveness, as you rightly asked the Lord to heal any unforgiveness in your heart. Unforgiveness can open doors to spiritual attack, and we encourage you to release anyone who has wronged you, just as Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32). Likewise, we thank you for humbly asking for forgiveness for your own sins, for the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority You have given us over all the power of the enemy. Lord, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that every evil spirit, every torment, and every affliction must leave this home and this body right now. We rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask You to surround this home with Your holy angels, to guard and protect every entrance, every room, and every person within. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill this place and this life (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against this home or this body shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment to know how to walk in victory. Show our brother/sister what steps to take to stand firm in faith, whether it is through prayer, fasting, or seeking godly counsel. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

We also pray for healing in their heart. Father, reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be hindering their walk with You. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore their soul. Let them experience Your love and grace in a fresh way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance and for the freedom that is ours in Christ. We declare that this evil has no place here, and we command it to leave and never return. May this home be filled with Your presence, Your joy, and Your peace. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and is at work even now. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you, and spend time in God’s Word to build your faith. The enemy may try to return, but resist him, firm in your faith, and he will flee (James 4:7). You are not alone, for the Lord is your keeper, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We're praying with you. What you're describing sounds exhausting and deeply unsettling, the inability to sit in peace, the persistent physical sensation, the sense that something unwelcome is intruding in your own home. We hear how badly you want rest, and we don't take that lightly.

When our bodies send signals we can't explain, buzzing, pressure, discomfort, it can amplify fear and make the spiritual battle feel all the more concrete. While we absolutely join you in praying against anything evil, we'd gently encourage you to also mention this physical sensation to a doctor. Sometimes what we experience spiritually gets tangled up with what's happening in our bodies, and ruling out any medical cause can bring clarity and peace of mind. There's no shame in that, it's part of caring for the temple God gave you.

On the spiritual side, you've already done the most important thing: you've declared where your help comes from. Psalm 121 isn't just poetry, it's a fixed anchor. The One who watches over you doesn't sleep, doesn't get distracted, doesn't miss a thing. You're not alone in your home. His presence is the deeper reality, even when fear feels louder.

You asked for wisdom. One step might be walking through your home with a trusted mature believer, someone calm, grounded, and able to pray with you in person. Sometimes having another person's steady faith in the room changes the atmosphere and helps us see more clearly. You don't need to figure this out alone.

We lift you now: Lord Jesus, quiet this fear and still this body. Whatever is causing these sensations, whether spiritual, physical, or some tangle of both, we ask you to bring relief and clear discernment. Cover this home with your peace. Restore the simple gift of sitting still without distress. Give wisdom, good counsel, and the kind of rest only you can provide. In your name, Amen.

The soul’s true help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, and not from the eye that looks anxiously to the troubles. The promise stands: He will not let your foot slip. The Watcher of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is your shade upon your right hand. The sun of trial and the moon of nightly fear shall not smite you, for the Lord keeps you from all harm. It is the sweet privilege of faith to rest here, to lean the whole weight of the heart upon this strong pillar.

The buzzing of this evil intruder is a weariness to your flesh and a buffet to your spirit. But remember, the enemy is a vanquished foe. The Lord Jesus has bruised the serpent’s head, and every evil spirit trembles at His name. Yet, take care how you speak. Demand nothing of God in your own authority, for we are beggars at the gate, not commanders of the host. Instead, bring the blood of Jesus into the battle. Plead His finished work, His triumphant cross, His resurrection power. A simple, childlike trust will bring more peace than all our rebukings. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust for the day of judgment. He will make even this a foil for His grace if you commit the matter entirely to Him.

You ask for forgiveness, and there is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. Mark this: it is a divine forgiveness, “I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.” It is a present forgiveness, complete and eternal, washing the conscience from dead works to serve the living God. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, a peace not broken by the external annoyances of the adversary. If you have come to Jesus, you have rest, rest in the pardon, rest in the righteousness, rest in the Father’s heart. Let not the shakings of your lower frame distract you from that deep, still rest which remains for the people of God.

Stay your mind on the Lord, and He will keep you in perfect peace, peace, peace. The double word in the margin tells of a double sweetness, a peace within peace, like wave upon wave of still waters. It is not the absence of conflict but the presence of Jesus in the midst of it that gives this peace. To do the will of Jesus, even while bearing the thorn, this is rest. Lay your duties, your pains, your pleadings before Him, and then go forward in the strength He supplies, for His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness.

The Lord watches your coming and going forevermore. He saw this moment before the eternal hills were formed, and He has already provided your deliverance. Wait upon Him, then, with patience. The trial may not lift at a word, but the Comforter will abide with you in it. And oh, what rest it is to lie passive in His hands, as the weaned child with its mother! Let Him heal any root of unforgiveness that might give a foothold to the enemy; and then, forgiven and forgiving, walk into the liberty of the children of God. The Lord rebuke the devourer for your sake, and give you to sit under your own vine and fig tree, fearing nothing. Cast the whole burden upon Him who cares for you, and your soul shall sing in the shadow of His wings.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not call the buzzing you feel an evil, as though some wickedness had entered your home. The Scripture often names affliction, trouble, and calamities by that word, the scourges that come from above, not sin. Is there such an evil in a city, and the Lord has not done it? This too He permits for your training, for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives. Affliction is a great good. It thrusts you into the narrow way, and without being pressed you cannot enter the life that leads to rest. In ease the soul grows thick and kicks; in affliction it learns to give thanks.

Therefore, instead of demanding that this be removed, rejoice that you have been counted worthy to suffer something for your purification. The disciples received the word in much affliction with joy of the Holy Spirit, and you also can become an imitator of the Lord. Give thanks in everything, for tribulation works patience, and patience experience, and experience hope, and hope does not put to shame. The buzzing, the discomfort, these are a schoolmaster for you, far more than for children, because our faults are greater.

Do not seek a false peace. Not every concord is good, for even robbers agree together. The true peace is that which comes from warring against the devil, and this war puts an end to the war between us and God. If you are at war with this affliction’s purpose, to humble you, you are making peace with ease, and that is an evil peace. Instead, let your soul say with David, “If the Lord has no mind for me, lo, here I am; let Him do what is pleasing in His sight.” Heal any unforgiveness, confess your sins, and then bear this bravely. The Lord watches over your coming and going; He will not let your foot slip. He is your shade, and nothing can touch your true life. So you will find that the affliction which seems to shake you has not touched your inner heart at all, and you will come out into a broad place, giving glory to God.

Your cry for help reaches the hills, and the answer is still the same: your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip. He who watches over you does not slumber or sleep. That promise you held onto in the Psalm is not just poetry; it is the steady ground beneath your trembling feet. But you must let Him be the Keeper, and you the kept. Right now, so much of your prayer is battle language, rebuke this, demand that, and while spiritual warfare is real, the deepest rest is not found in the adrenaline of command but in the quiet commitment of trust. The evil you sense has no right, you are correct, but your authority rests not in the volume of your rebuke but in the finished work of Jesus Christ and your place in Him. When you fully abandon the outcome to God, you step into perfect peace. That peace will guard your heart even while the storm still rages.

You ask for wisdom to make it go. The wisdom from above is first peaceable. It does not churn and thrash. The buzzing, the turmoil, the burning need for immediate relief, these are like a troubled sea, casting up mire. God says there is no peace for the wicked, and evil itself can find no rest. But your heart can be different. The war is over between you and God if you have trusted Christ for forgiveness. He has made peace by His blood. Now let the peace of God rule in your heart. You spoke of unforgiveness. That is a real crack in the door. A root of bitterness does not merely disturb your sleep; it gives ground to torment. Lay it down completely. Forgive fully, not as a strategy to get relief, but as a worship of the One who forgave you. Then your mind, no longer entangled with old hurts, can be fixed on Him. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.

Do not resort to evil for evil, not even in your thoughts. Do not let the opposition drive you to fear or to frantic demands. Instead, seek peace and pursue it. Let your request be made known to God with thanksgiving, and then rest. Where is that rest? It is not in a perfectly silent room or in a physical sensation of relief. It is in the Sabbath rest of God, where you cease from your own works and trust that He is working. You cannot wrestle this into submission; you can only rest in the One who has already overcome. Resist the devil, but stand firm in the faith, not in your own panic. Fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and you do well to hate it, but don't let that hatred become the focus. Let the face of Jesus be your focus. When your ways please the Lord, He makes even your enemies to be at peace with you. Pleasing Him means entrusting the whole mess to His justice and mercy, and waiting patiently.

The Lord watches over your coming and going, from this moment and forevermore. That includes when you sit in your chair, feeling that awful vibration, and when you lie down to sleep. He is your shade. The sun will not harm you, nor the moon by night. Keep your tongue from speaking fear and your lips from rehearsing the enemy's threats. Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will bring it to pass. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light. Do not fret because of evildoers; they cannot snatch you from His hand. As you learn to rest in this, really rest, not just begging for rest, the peace that passes understanding will garrison your mind and heart. The buzzing may remain for a season, but the torment of your soul will be quieted. God has ordained peace for you. It is yours. Enter into it.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer, standing alongside you as you lifted up Psalm 121 and sought the Lord’s deliverance, peace, and rest. What a powerful reminder that our help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth—the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps, who watches over your life with unwavering care. We have continued to pray over your request, declaring the truth of God’s protection and rebuking every evil influence in Jesus’ mighty name.

If the Lord has brought the relief, wisdom, or breakthrough you sought—if that oppressive presence has been silenced and His peace has settled over your home—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for His faithfulness.

If the struggle persists, we encourage you to post your request again so we may persist in prayer with you. The enemy may resist, but we stand firm in the authority of Christ, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. May the Lord grant you discernment, strength, and the deep rest that comes from trusting in Him. We continue to pray for your complete freedom, healing from unforgiveness, and the fullness of His presence to fill every corner of your life.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In His precious name we pray. Amen.
