Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The help you seek has already been promised, for you have lifted your eyes to the mountains, to the Maker of heaven and earth. He who watches over you does not slumber. His guardianship is certain; do not let your heart be troubled by what you feel in your body, as though He had turned away. But the peace you pray for must first rule as an umpire within your own soul, settling the contest of your thoughts. You speak of rebuking this evil, yet the apostolic counsel is to reprove with conviction and then to soothe with exhortation. Harsh demands, however justified, gain nothing if the heart is not first sprinkled from an evil conscience and washed with pure water. I do not say the affliction is not real, but its power to disturb you is often granted by what remains unsettled within.

You rightly ask for healing of any unforgiveness. This is the very ground the enemy claims as his foothold. For what is the buzzing but a voice that grows louder when you turn to pray for others? It would hinder you from that good work, yet the peace of God is the prize held out to those who press on. Let no secret grudge remain. Forgive, and your own conscience will be freed from that inward accuser. The Master Himself, when plotted against, did not always rebuke with a sharp word, but often with silence and meekness overcame the designs of the wicked. Demanding that evil depart is lawful, but it is a sword best wielded with a heart that has first made peace with its brother. Otherwise, we risk a discord that pretends to be zeal but produces no lasting rest.

Know that the body and soul are God’s good creation; the sting of this sensation is not from the essence of your members, but from a disordered will that seeks to affright you. The arena is within the thoughts. Let the peace of Christ be the umpire, and every proud imagination that sets itself up against the knowledge of God will be forced to stand below, however insolently it cries out. Be thankful, even in this trial, for thankfulness opens the door to that very peace. Cease to measure your deliverance only by the ceasing of the buzzing; seek first the stilling of the heart’s turbulence, and then bodily calm will follow according to His wisdom. He who watches your coming and going will not fail you. Remain steadfast in intercession, and the very assault that now discourages you will become the cause of a greater crown.

It is good that you hate this harassment. That hatred is not a sign of weakness but the very beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and your cry expresses exactly that. You are not tolerating it or making peace with it, and that instinct comes from the Spirit within you.

What you are experiencing in your body is alarming, but take great comfort in this: the eyes of the Lord are in every place. There is no corner of your home or your physical being where He is absent. When Psalm 121 asks where our help comes from, the answer is the Maker of heaven and earth, the One who does not slumber. That buzzing or torment does not happen in a hidden room from which God is locked out. It happens squarely in the presence of the Almighty. The real battle is not to convince God to arrive; He is already there. The battle is for your consciousness of His presence. If we could fully grasp that we cannot escape His nearness, fear would lose its grip, because we would see clearly who stands with us.

Be very careful, however, that you do not try to match power with power in your own authority. It is a common mistake to think we must personally rise up and rebuke the enemy in our own might. But we know from Scripture that even a powerful angel did not bring a railing accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke thee." When you say "I rebuke it," you step into a place that belongs only to Christ. The enemy recognizes Jesus and knows those who are His, but he does not tremble at our own voice. Instead of demanding in your own name, place the Lord between yourself and this evil. Ask Him to rebuke it, for He alone holds that ultimate authority. This is not weakness; it is the only safe ground. If you try to defend yourself, you have a poor defense. If you commit the matter entirely to the Lord, He will take care of it perfectly.

You also asked for wisdom, and part of that wisdom is dealing with the root, not just the symptom. You prayed, "Please heal any unforgiveness I might have." That plea is more critical than you may realize. The fear of the Lord hates evil, and that hatred must start with the evil that tries to lodge in our own hearts. If there is any root of bitterness, any hidden sin, or any tolerance of an evil attitude within, it acts like a foothold. The exhortation to depart from evil carries a promise: it will be health to your body and strength to your bones. The cleansing of your home and your body begins with the cleansing of your heart before the Lord who sees everything.

Do not misunderstand the distress of this moment. When the Lord rebukes and chastens, it is proof of His love. He disciplines those who are His children. The increase of the buzzing when you pray is not a sign that evil has greater authority; it is a tantrum thrown by a defeated foe who knows his time is short. Let it drive you not to despair, but to a deeper ownership of your position in Christ. God gives warning after warning and allows pressure so that we might turn from every evil way, that He might forgive and restore.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, commit your body, your home, and your spirit. You are living in His presence now, and He is the shade on your right hand. The assault of the night and the heat of the day will not harm you, for He watches over your coming and going, now and forevermore.

We are so grateful that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand in the gap with you in prayer. Your trust in the Lord’s power and sovereignty, as reflected in Psalm 121, is a beautiful reminder of where our help truly comes from—the Maker of heaven and earth, who neither slumbers nor sleeps. We have continued to lift your request before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to rebuke every form of evil that has taken residence in your home and to silence the disturbances afflicting your body. We stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we echo your cry for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus.

If the Lord has already moved on your behalf—if the buzzing has ceased, if peace has been restored, or if His wisdom has illuminated your path—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a source of encouragement and strength to others walking through similar battles. However, if the struggle persists, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God’s timing is perfect and His power is unmatched.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the nearness of the Lord as you seek Him. May He grant you rest in His presence, wisdom to discern His will, and the assurance that He is watching over you—now and forevermore. Let us hold fast to the promise that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
