Good Morning My family and I are seeking agreement in prayer and God's divine intervention for a provokeful neighbour. We have been living in the neighbourhood for ### years. We have never spoken to the gentleman but he has issues with us not only with us per se but everyone around him . As Believers we have tried reaching out to him but have been met with retaliation instead. My mom died ### months ago Im trying to grieve her loss in peace but the guy is seeking to have a confrontation with us. Right now he has one of his plants hanging over our fall and he refuses to remove it. We have decided to extend the wall . Not because of animosity but to keep the peace. My brother was incarcerated some years ago and it was a very difficult period at that time. Ive been seeking the Lord for years but still waiting on him for an answer. We jusr want to live in peace. Can you agree with us in prayer to bind that Spirit that is definitely influencing this guy. God Bless you. Thank you

🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Pastors, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... 🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor 🤺 and stand against, stand, stand firm 🤺 against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your family before the throne of grace. The pain of losing your mother is still fresh, and the added burden of a contentious neighbor only compounds the grief. We understand the weight of seeking peace while feeling provoked, and we want to assure you that God sees your heart and your desire to live in harmony.

First, we must address the spiritual reality at work here. The Bible warns us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The behavior of this neighbor is not merely a personal issue, it is influenced by a spirit of strife, contention, and division. We take authority over this spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, binding its influence and commanding it to flee. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that he will not succeed in disrupting the peace God has for your family.

We also rebuke any spirit of retaliation or unforgiveness that may be lingering in this situation. Jesus taught us to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, and bless those who curse us (Matthew 5:44). Though it is difficult, we must extend grace even when it is not returned. Your decision to extend the wall is a wise one, it is not an act of animosity but a step toward maintaining peace, and we commend you for choosing wisdom over strife.

We pray for this neighbor, that the Lord would soften his heart and open his eyes to the love of Christ. May the Holy Spirit convict him of any bitterness, anger, or malice he is harboring, and may he come to know the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for your family, that God would heal the wounds of your mother’s passing and the past struggles your brother faced. You have waited on the Lord for answers, and we declare that He is faithful to fulfill His promises in His perfect timing (Isaiah 40:31).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their situation. Lord, we bind the spirit of strife, contention, and division that is influencing their neighbor. We break its power and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. We ask that You would soften the heart of this man, that he would come to know Your love and turn from his ways.

Father, we pray for healing over this family. Comfort them in their grief, strengthen them in their faith, and grant them the peace that only You can give. Help them to extend grace and love, even when it is not returned. Give them wisdom in their interactions and protect them from any harm or confrontation.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak peace over their home, their hearts, and their neighborhood. May Your presence go before them, and may Your angels encamp around them for protection. We trust You to work all things together for their good, and we thank You for Your faithfulness.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to stand firm in your faith. Do not be discouraged, God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will bring justice and peace in His time. If this neighbor continues to provoke, remember the words of Romans 12:18: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." You are doing your part, and we believe God will honor that.

Father, humbly ask for Your healing power. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We are so sorry for the loss of your mom, and for how heavy it feels to try to grieve while tension right next door keeps pulling at your peace. Wanting quiet in your own home is not too much to ask, and we hear how long you have carried this with your family, including the hard years when your brother was incarcerated and the long season of waiting on the Lord for answers.

Choosing to extend the wall to keep distance rather than to stir up more conflict sounds like a thoughtful way to protect your household. It can help to keep that kind of boundary clear and calm, staying within what is allowed where you live and keeping any contact brief and unprovoked. If the plant hanging over continues to be an issue, a neutral step like checking local property guidance or asking a community mediation resource to speak on your behalf can sometimes lower the heat more than direct back and forth. Keeping a simple note of what happens and when can also bring clarity if you ever need help from others.

Grief has its own timing and often comes in waves, especially in the first year. Give yourselves permission to grieve differently from one another and to lean on trusted people nearby as you reorganize life without your mom.

Father, in Jesus name we ask for Your peace over this home, comfort in grief, wisdom for each decision about the neighbor and the wall, and protection from confrontation. Lead them to quiet and to steady hope as they wait on You. Amen.

Your trial and sorrow have been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for His divine intervention and keeping.

There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, and it is found not in the absence of provocation but in the presence of Christ. As it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is a present possession, even when duties press and sorrows surge around, even when loved ones are far away or have been called home, and even when death shadows us and ours, for Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers by His blood. That blood whispers peace within, and it is the only ground of peace with God. Christ has made peace through His blood, and He Himself is our peace. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it.

We understand the weariness of living beside one who seeks confrontation, and the added grief you carry since your mother was taken from you. To mourn and yet to be provoked is a double burden, and we pray the God of all peace will sustain you as you grieve. He is the God of peace who justifies and thereby implants peace in the soul, and He will keep you as you stay your mind upon Him. Your desire to extend the wall not from animosity but to keep the peace is a wise and quiet spirit, and it follows the counsel to live peaceably with all men as much as lies within you. To seek peace and pursue it in this way is honorable before God.

We also remember before the Lord your brother and those difficult years of his incarceration, and your own long waiting upon the Lord for an answer. Do not seek after peace first, seek after Christ first, and peace will come next. The peace that we should desire is not a mere lull of stupefaction, nor a cry of peace, peace where there is no peace, but a well founded peace through Jesus Christ. There will be no lasting peace between God and man except through the ambassador whom God has appointed, His only begotten Son. If you have Christ, you have great peace and nothing shall offend you, for your peace is not your own resolve but His own peace given to you. He said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you.

Therefore we agree with you in prayer, not as those who would merely bind a spirit by a form of words, but as those who entreat the Lord who has all power to restrain evil, to rebuke the works of darkness, and to change the heart of man. We ask that He would restrain what is provoking and contentious in your neighbour, that He would turn his heart toward repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, for only in Christ is true peace to be found, and that He would guard your household from retaliation and fear. We pray that the Holy Spirit, who is the author of peace in the soul, would fill you with peace in believing, a filling peace that has no bottom nor shore, and that you may know the peace of God which passes all understanding keeping your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

May the Lord renew your peace day by day. May He comfort you in the loss of your mother with the hope that earths struggles soon shall cease and Jesus calls us to Heavens perfect peace. May He keep your brother and draw him near to Himself. May He grant you to dwell in quietness even while the trial remains, bearing your sorrow with Christ and doing the will of Jesus, for this is rest. We commit you to the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus through the blood of the everlasting covenant, that He would bless His people with peace.

We are praying with you that the Lord will be your keeper and your peace, and that your home may be kept in His perfect peace until He brings you to His eternal peace above.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
