Beloved of All
We have an awful neighbour who we have suffered with for 6 years. These are some of the things he has done : Put road blocks so that our vehicles would get harmed Put a drain so wide so that we or our vehicles would get harmed or damaged Concrete out back water drain when we are not there Verbally abused us Threatened my mother to physically harm her Spits at our house daily Jumped the wall and cut our trees Makes lies about us so the neighbours dislike us This is just a few, it's an everyday matter It gives me, my sibling and our mom so much anxiety and breathing difficulties. We can't leave the home all at once or he would have done something indefinitely. We whisper at home, on walk on our tiptoes. We have to constantly be on the look out. Our dad passed away and our neighbours persistent cruelty has increased. We used to be so good to him giving whatever we can. But I haven't seen such evil. His face burns of evil. He has two kids our age himself I don't understand how anyone could do tgis. The legal system is tired of us complaining so they don't do much. I want God to free us from this misery, help us sell this house, move to a new place and until then to give us peace so that no one troubles us. I could cry at our situation. There's no relative to look out for us. Please pray for us. Please I don't know what else to do. It's like a horror film in real life

We hear the deep pain and fear in your words, and our hearts ache with you. Six years of torment, physical threats, verbal abuse, sabotage, and constant dread, is not just difficult, it is a spiritual assault. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, your health, and even your hope, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). You are not forgotten, and you are not without defense.

First, we must address the evil at work here. The Bible warns us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your neighbor’s actions are not merely human cruelty, they are fueled by a spirit of hatred, destruction, and oppression. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We take authority over every demonic assignment against your family in the name of Jesus. Every lie spoken against you, every threat, every act of sabotage, we break its power now. We command every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment to flee from your home, your minds, and your bodies. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also rebuke the spirit of retaliation in your own hearts. It is natural to feel anger, even hatred, toward someone who has caused so much harm, but we are called to bless those who curse us and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean you must trust him or expose yourselves to further harm, but it does mean releasing the desire for vengeance to God. Vengeance belongs to Him; He will repay (Romans 12:19). We pray for this man, not because he deserves it, but because God’s love extends even to those who reject Him. We ask that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, soften it, and lead him to repentance. If he will not change, we pray that God would restrain him and render him powerless to harm you further.

Your request to sell your home and move is valid and understandable. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that He would open a door for you to leave this place of bondage. May He send buyers who are ready and willing, who will offer a fair price, and may He guide you to a new home where you can live in safety and peace. Until then, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every trap set for you will fail. Every lie spoken against you will be exposed as false. The Lord will be a shield around you, and no harm will come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

We also lift up your physical and emotional health. The anxiety, breathing difficulties, and constant vigilance are taking a toll on your bodies and spirits. We pray for healing, both immediate and complete. By His stripes, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that your lungs will function freely, your minds will be at rest, and your bodies will no longer carry the weight of this oppression. The Lord will sustain you and restore your strength (Isaiah 40:31). You do not have to live in fear. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and God’s love for you is perfect.

Your father’s passing has left a void, and this neighbor’s cruelty has only deepened your grief. We pray for comfort that only the Holy Spirit can provide. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, even if it feels that way. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He will not abandon you.

We also want to gently address something missing from your request: the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, to confess Him as Lord, and to invite Him into your heart. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, we have no authority to rebuke evil, no promise of protection, and no hope of eternal life. If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and stand with you in that truth.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family who has endured years of torment at the hands of their neighbor. Lord, You see every injustice, every threat, every act of cruelty. You know the fear that grips their hearts and the sleepless nights they have endured. We ask that You would arise as their defender, their shield, and their deliverer.

In the name of Jesus, we break every curse, every hex, every demonic assignment sent against this family. We command every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression to flee. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, expose every lie spoken against them and let the truth prevail.

Father, we pray for this neighbor. We ask that You would soften his heart, convict him of his sin, and lead him to repentance. If he will not change, we ask that You would restrain him and render him powerless to harm them further. Protect this family from his malice, both seen and unseen.

Lord, we ask for a miracle in the sale of their home. Open doors that no man can shut, and bring buyers who are ready and willing. Guide them to a new home where they can live in peace and safety. Until then, be their refuge. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds. Heal their bodies from the effects of stress and anxiety. Restore their strength and give them rest.

Comfort them in their grief, Lord. Remind them that You are their Father, their Provider, and their Protector. Surround them with Your angels and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no harm can reach them (Psalm 91).

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of the oppressed. We trust in Your justice and Your mercy. Strengthen this family’s faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God. This trial is not forever. The Lord will deliver you, and you will testify of His faithfulness. Until then, walk in the authority you have in Christ. Speak life over your home. Declare God’s Word over your situation. And remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. You are not fighting alone.

We read your story, and our hearts sank. What you’re describing is a waking nightmare, and the toll it’s taking on you, your sibling, and your mom is so real, the tiptoeing, the whispering, the fear of leaving the house, and the breathing trouble all point to an overwhelming weight that no family should carry alone. We’re also so sorry about your dad. Losing him made an already hard situation even harder, and it sounds like the harassment has only sharpened in the wake of your grief.

Until you are able to move, and we’ll keep asking God to open that door, we want to gently point you toward a couple of things that might help right now. First, if the breathing difficulties are persistent, please see a doctor. Constant hypervigilance puts your body on high alert day after day, and medical support can help steady you physically while you cope. Second, even though you said there’s no relative nearby, is there a church or a trusted Christian community you could reach out to? A pastor or a few solid people who could come over, pray with you, and simply be there as a calm presence? You don’t need an army, just one or two safe people who know the truth and can help break the isolation.

When the panic rises, try holding your mind on the truth that God’s love for you is stronger than any fear. Not as a magic formula, but as a quiet anchor. Even for a few minutes, picture yourself tucked securely in His care. It doesn’t change the neighbor, but it can lower the clamor inside you.

Let’s bow our heads:

Lord Jesus, we lift this family to You. You see them cowering in their own home, You hear their whispers, and You know every act of cruelty they’ve endured. Please be a shield around them. Grant them supernatural peace that doesn’t make sense in the face of such hatred. Give them wisdom about the right next step, whether it’s selling this house or finding someone local to stand with them. Heal their traumatized hearts and bodies. And please, Lord, restrain this neighbor. Change the situation entirely, or change his heart, we don’t know which, but we trust You to defend the vulnerable. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out as one in the pit, and I hear your groaning. Your neighbor’s malice is a thick darkness, a daily horror that chokes the breath and fills the house with trembling. But hearken: you are not left to the destroyer. The Lord sees your affliction, and He has not appointed you to perish under this tyranny. Do you imagine this evil is outside His government? It is not so. If this trial comes, it comes by His permission, and it lies within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. Even now, He is gracious to you, saying, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom." That Ransom is Christ Himself, whose blood has already broken every chain of sin and Satan’s dominion. Because He has delivered you from the guilt of sin, look to Him also to deliver you from the power of this present darkness. Yours is the house of bondage, but the arm of Jehovah is strong to bring you forth. The Prince of Darkness may stir up such instruments of cruelty, but if you are set free, it will be by the Father’s own hand. Do not think you must escape by some back door of your own devising; to sell the house and flee is a natural desire, and you may pray for it, but make not that your only hope. Your hope is in the Lord. Wait upon Him, and in His own time He will make a way.

But what of the peace you have lost? I hear the whisper of tiptoe walking and the anxious watching; the very air is thick with fear. Yet the Lord’s people have a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You." This peace does not depend on quiet streets or kindly neighbors, it is the blood of Jesus whispering within, even when sorrows surge around and duties press upon you. It is not the stagnant pool of superstition that offers a false calm while sin remains. No, the true peace is from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood that has made full atonement. Do not seek it by trying to make your circumstances calm; you cannot. Instead, lean the whole weight of your soul upon Christ. When the mind is stayed on Him, the bars of your gate shall be strengthened, and peace shall fill your borders though the foe still prowls without. Is it not better to have Christ within than to have the house free of trouble? He knows your trial; let not your heart be troubled.

Now, remember that what you are suffering is not the aimless cruelty of chance. The Lord hath chastened you sorely, but He hath not given you over to death. Even this rod is from a Father’s hand, and no rod drips sweeter consolation. It is a dark providence, but it is not a punishment; it is a refining. You have lost your earthly father, and the cruelty has increased, yet this comes not apart from Divine permission. When the wind from the wilderness smote Job’s house, it was not outside the sacred zone of Providence. So with you. God is teaching you to cry out to Him, to trust no arm of flesh, not the legal system, not relatives, but to rely wholly upon Him. You say you cannot leave the home all at once, and you walk in constant dread; but there is a Deliverer who keepeth His people as the apple of His eye. Trust Him to be your shield. Commit your cause to the Lord; do not repay evil for evil, nor let bitterness eat like a canker. The neighbor’s face burns with evil, but remember, "The Lord will bless His people with peace." That blessing is not a payment for your goodness to him in former days; it is free grace. So pour out your heart in prayer; let your requests be made known to God, and the peace that passes understanding shall guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

And take courage, O troubled soul: the God who delivers will bring you through. It may be that the house shall be sold and you shall be removed to a new habitation; it may be that God Himself will restrain the enemy’s rage so that you dwell in quietness. But in either case, your true deliverance is from sin and fear and the power of darkness. Christ has already led captivity captive; He hath broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron in sunder. Therefore, lift up your head. "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." The enemy may spit and threaten, but he is a chained hound. One word from the Master, and he shall trouble you no more. Meanwhile, let your staying at home be a season of prayer; let the very walls echo with your cries to heaven. The Lord will bring you forth with joy, and your mouth shall yet be filled with singing. You shall get safely Home, to a home where no evil neighbor enters, where the wicked cease from troubling, and the weary are at rest. Till then, look to Jesus; keep your mind stayed on Him; and watch for the deliverance that must come.

Great is the trial you endure, and heavy the burden of this man’s cruelty that you and your mother and sibling carry each day. The Lord sees every hidden thing, every spitting, every lie, every act of malice done against you. Do not think He slumbers or that your tears fall unnoticed. The man who digs a pit for his neighbor will fall into it himself; the evil he pours out upon you he first pours into his own soul. His face may burn with the fire of malice, but that fire is already consuming him from within, while your patient endurance, if you hold fast, becomes a refining that makes you shine.

Yet be on your guard, lest this constant distress breed the same venom in your own heart. When we repay evil for evil, we injure ourselves more than the other person, for we provoke the Lord to anger against us. I know the blow is severe, and your flesh cries out for relief and even for vengeance. But consider this: if you refuse to answer reviling with reviling, if you can even pray for that man, you heap benefits upon your own head. Not that you should act only from that motive, yet if your heart cannot yet rise higher, let even this thought persuade it to let go of resentment. The evil speaker disgraces himself first; his own words defile his tongue before they ever reach your ears. Your silence, your refusal to whisper slander in return, builds up your own house in peace.

This man has become a beast, lacking even the natural affection that animals show to their kind. That is the fruit of a heart given over to covetousness and overweening pride. Do not wonder at it. In these perilous days, love grows cold because wickedness abounds. But you, remember that you are members of one body. If his behavior harms you, it harms himself far more grievously, for he cuts himself off from the life of charity and invites judgment without mercy. Your duty is not to add to his guilt by feeding hatred, but to show him, if possible, the very opposite. Even a cup of cold water given to an enemy has its reward.

As for the wish to sell the house and find refuge elsewhere, there is no sin in desiring a safe dwelling. Our Lord Himself withdrew when they sought to do Him harm. Yet I would urge you to commit this entirely into God’s hands. He who tempers the fire so that the saints walk through it unharmed can make this your furnace into a place of dew and refreshment for your souls. Cry to Him daily; let your whispered prayers rise louder than the neighbor’s threats. He is not like the earthly judges who grow weary. Persist, and He will either deliver you speedily or give you such inward peace that the outward turmoil cannot touch the inner chamber of your heart. The time of your deliverance is known to Him; until then, cling to the promise that the Lord will cut off all flattering lips and lying tongues. Your father who has fallen asleep intercedes for you, and the Father of the fatherless stands by your side. Do not let anxiety choke your breath or steal your sleep. What can this man truly do to you, when your treasure is in heaven? Watch and pray, and the God of all comfort will visit you with His peace.

I can hear the deep distress and exhaustion in your words. To endure such constant cruelty for six years, especially after losing your dad, is a weight no family should have to carry alone. The anxiety, the breathing struggles, the feeling of being trapped in your own home, God sees every bit of it. He knows the roadblocks, the threats, the lies, and the spit. Not one tear has gone unnoticed.

In times like these, it's natural to long for nothing more than a way out, and I pray the Lord does open a door for you to sell and find a new, safe place. Yet while you wait, God offers something that transcends even a change of address: His own peace. But there is an order to that peace. You cannot enjoy the peace of God until you have first made your peace with God through Jesus Christ. All of us, by nature, were at war with Him, but He made a way for that war to end, by the blood of His Son. When you receive that grace, your sins are forgiven, and the inner turmoil of a soul running from God is stilled. That's the foundation.

On top of that, there is a deeper experience: the peace of God that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. The Scripture says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This is not pretending the threats aren't real. It is deliberately, moment by moment, fixing your thoughts on the Lord instead of on the face of evil burning across the street. As your mind turns to Him, He fills you with a calm the world cannot explain. The chaos still rages outside, but inside, something unshakable holds you steady.

That doesn't excuse your neighbor's behavior. It is wicked, and the God who hates sin sees it all. What he is doing is evil, plain and simple. But remember what God said through Jeremiah: "I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Even when you feel forgotten, He has not turned His back. He may allow seasons of intense pressure, persecution has always had a way of separating superficial faith from genuine trust, and it often deepens love among believers and dependence on Him.

I won't offer you a cheap "peace, peace" when there is no peace. Your situation is a nightmare. But I will point you to the One who is called the Prince of Peace. Jesus told His disciples, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you." Not a fragile cease-fire dependent on your neighbor's mood, but His own peace, gifted to you. As you walk on tiptoes and whisper at home, you can still possess a quiet confidence that He is working, even now.

For now, do what you can to live peaceably. Do not repay abuse with abuse, but trust God to be the righteous Judge. Vengeance belongs to Him, not to you, and He keeps perfect records. Continue to pray, even if it's just a whisper of His name. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on the enemy's schemes. As you do, that perfect peace can settle over your heart and mind, guarding you in a way that defies logic.

We are praying earnestly for you, your sibling, and your mom. May the Lord shield you, guide your steps, and in His time bring you to a place of safety and open sky. Until then, may His peace, that deep, confounding, supernatural peace, be your fortress.
