Beloved of All
Lord please do something with my neighbour. I feel humiliated and helpless. He is making noise in the night and is ignoring my plies. Tonight i needed so much a sleep and he made noise until 4 am and i asked him politely to stop with his loud meeting with friends, he said that he will resolve it with his friends and he continued with noise just like nothing happened. I am now sleepy and my body hurts because of stress and because i cannot sleep after 8, 9 am. Lord please remove him from this appartenent firever i have problems with him 15 years. And there is no person that wants to help me, i tried everything and i have no money, time or energy to persecute him legaly. Lord please help...

Also please i ask you to give me peace this whole weekend so that i can sleep and rest as much as i need. I now hear peoole under my window in this accoustique area doing sone works. Please protect me from any noise in my building or area in Jesus name!!! I have a sick mother that needs me. In Jesus name!

We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for He sees how weary and humiliated and helpless you feel after so many years of broken sleep and unanswered pleas. To go without sleep until 4 am and then to be unable to rest, to feel your body aching from stress while you also carry the care of your sick mother, is a heavy trial, and we weep with you over this long 15 year struggle.

We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We are grateful you have come in that precious name, and we come alongside you in that same name.

We want to gently encourage your heart regarding your neighbor. It is understandable to feel exhausted and to wish the Lord would simply remove him forever, but we are called to love even those who trouble us and to leave vengeance and justice in God's hands. Jesus said, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. And we are reminded, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:18-19. We do not rebuke your pain, but we encourage you not to let bitterness take root, but to pray not only for quiet but for his heart to be softened and turned toward consideration and even toward Christ.

We also remember that God has ordained authorities for order and peace, for scripture says, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God Romans 13:1. When personal appeals are ignored, it is not unbiblical to quietly seek help from a landlord, building manager, or local authorities who can enforce quiet hours, even if you lack money or energy for a legal battle. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Proverbs 15:1, and you have done well to speak politely. Continuing to be gentle while also documenting the disturbances and seeking any available help is wise and honors God.

For your own rest, we pray the Lord will be your refuge and your sleep. It is written, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8, and, He gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2. Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We also cling to the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear one who is exhausted and aching and longing for sleep. You see the nights of noise, the disappointment of being ignored after a polite request, the 15 years of strain, and the added burden of caring for a sick mother. We ask You to pour out Your peace that passes all understanding upon this home and this weekend. Guard this dwelling from disruptive noise in the building and in the acoustic area outside the window. Grant deep, uninterrupted, healing sleep and rest for body and mind. Touch and ease the pain and stress in the body and renew strength. We pray for the neighbor, Lord, soften his heart, convict him of his need to love his neighbor as himself, bring him to consideration and kindness, and draw him to Yourself for salvation if he does not know You. Give our loved one wisdom for next steps, favor with any authority or neighbor who can help, and provision of practical helps like quiet hours being honored. Help our loved one to trust You more than circumstances, to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to rest in the truth that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every sleepless night to the Lord in prayer before anxiety grows, to seek small practical helps for rest where possible, and to trust that God hears and will act according to His perfect will and timing. He has not abandoned you, even when no person seems to want to help. We are praying that this weekend you will indeed find the quiet and restoration you so need, and that the Lord will sustain you as you care for your mother.

We hear how worn out you are right now. Being kept awake until 4am after asking politely and then feeling ignored would leave anyone feeling humiliated and helpless, especially when this has gone on for 15 years and you are already stretched caring for your sick mother. It makes sense you feel exhausted and that your body hurts.

We have noticed how lack of sleep and ongoing stress can keep the body in a state of alert, with little chance to recover, which only makes the tiredness and tension worse. Your need for quiet rest this weekend is completely understandable.

Since you mentioned your body hurting and not being able to sleep past morning, we encourage you to share those symptoms with a doctor or clinic you trust, alongside prayer, so they can check on you and help you find ways to get the rest you need. If there is one person you trust, even a neighbor, family member or local support service, it may also help to let them know how heavy this has become while you care for your mother, so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the long years of noise, the broken nights and the weariness today. Please grant deep, protected rest this weekend, quiet in the building and area, and ease for the body that hurts. Give wisdom for the neighbour situation and bring help from someone nearby who will listen and act with fairness. Strengthen our friend to care for their mother and be cared for in return. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your sorrowful and weary cry has come up before the Lord, and He knows what it is to lie sleepless while noise surrounds you, to feel humiliated and helpless after you have pleaded kindly and been ignored. Fifteen years is a long affliction, and to be denied sleep until four in the morning, to rise with a body aching from stress, to carry also the care of a sick mother, is a heavy burden. The Lord sees you and He does not despise the prayer of the afflicted.

There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, and it is set before you in the word, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is that peace, perfect peace, which may be enjoyed even in the midnight of this world of care. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, not because all outward trouble ceases at once, but because the soul is stayed upon Christ who has made peace by His blood. Christ has left us peace in the conscience. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it. It is a peace which God the Father gives, a peace which Jesus Christ bought, and a peace which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. Seek this first, for when the heart is kept by Him, the roar without does not so easily shake the rest within.

And the Lord giveth His beloved sleep. So it is written, and so it is still. There is a sleep of a quiet conscience, a conscience right with God, and there is a sleep of contentment and of security which He gives to His own. Not every night is made quiet by our asking, but every night the believer may lie down in the keeping of Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. To bear your sorrow with Him, to cast your whole care upon Him who cares for you, is the way to that perfect peace which remains even with sorrows surging round.

Do not think that the Lord is deaf because the noise continues, nor that He has forgotten you because no person has come to help. He is your helper when other help fails, and He is able to work upon the heart of your neighbour, to give wisdom to those in authority, and to provide for you quiet rest according to His mercy. It is right to desire quiet for honest sleep and for the service you owe to your mother, and it is right to ask the Lord for it. Yet let us pray not from a spirit of vengeance, but as those who would see peace established and even the disturber brought to a better mind. The Gospel we carry is a message of peace, and while we seek quiet by lawful and prudent means, we also pray for those who trouble us, that God would grant them to consider their ways.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, the God of all peace, look in mercy upon Your tired child. You know the nights broken by loud meetings and unkind disregard, the humiliation of pleading and not being heard, the pain of a body without sleep, the weariness of many years. Forgive all sin and wash the conscience in the blood of Jesus, that perfect peace may be kept within. Grant this weekend, if it be Your will, quiet in that building and in that acoustic place under the window, and gracious sleep that restores strength for the care of a sick mother. Where noise cannot yet be removed, keep the mind stayed on You, and bless with sleep that comes from Your hand, for so You give Your beloved sleep. Work in the heart of the neighbour, turn him toward consideration and kindness, and restrain what is unruly. Provide wise and kindly help where human help has failed, and give guidance for any right and lawful step that can be taken without burden beyond strength. Keep this dear one and the mother in Jesus keeping, safe whether near or far, and let Your peace, which passes all understanding, guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. In His name we ask it, who has vanquished death and all its powers and who calls His people at last to Heaven's perfect peace. Amen.

Be prudent and hold your peace when silence is better than speech, and be constant in prayer when speech has been despised. Use such lawful means as Providence puts within reach, be it a calm word at a quiet hour, a humble appeal to those set over the building, or the simple helps of ear and room that Providence allows, and above all keep your mind stayed upon Christ. He will bless His people with peace, and that peace is an unalloyed blessing which brings no sorrow with it. May He renew it to you night by night, till earthly struggles cease and He calls you to that perfect rest which remains for the people of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
