I so love the Book of Proverbs! In this chapter, the verse, "Whoever mocks the poor reproaches his Maker;" speaks to me in a very strong way. I work security in a hospital in a bad area. The homeless often come in and pretend to be suicidal just for a place to stay. We often have to turn them away. Then they will say they need to be seen in ER, so that they can sleep for a couple of hours in our beds. It is so easy to become cynical after dealing with it every single day. These are the times that I need to remember where I come from, and not judge them, but pray for and encourage them. I needed this Scripture reading today! Father, we love You, we praise You, we adore You.... glorify Your name all over the earth. With hands upraised to You we come to Your holy presence to worship and adore You. We just thank you for Your word and for the blessings you send our way. Glorify Your name in our homes, in our church in our work. He that covered a transgression, seeketh love. We will cover all transgression by praying and fasting for the lost souls of the earth. May the love of God fill our hearts with joy til He comes to take us all home to glory.
I looked up to Jesus when times were so bad and illness fall on me. I looked up to Him when I was so lonely and sad, Jesus came to me and said... I am with you always. Even unto the end of the world. Then laughter and joy came to my heart. Jesus was by my side. I never felt betrayed. I never felt abandoned. His word is true. We must believe what He says. He who covers a transgression, seeks love. The grace of the Lord Jesus will help us to overcome hate and evil. We must love God with all our heart, mind and soul and love our neighbors as ourselves.
Sing unto the Lord a new song, with praise come before His holy presence. Keep His ways unswerving. Offer unto the Lord your service with joy. Trust His word, it will last forever. Heaven and earth shall pass away. Gods word shall never ever pass away. Trust, believe in Jesus all the days of your life. Blessings will come to you and joy will fill your heart.
Wrong doers eargerly listen for gossip. This is so true, even in churches this is happening. We need to be in prayer for sinner first to get saved and get ready to see Jesus coming for us. Then we need to pray for those who gossip so much. They love to find out other peoples problems and needs and then gossip around. Fast and pray so Jesus will cleanse and purify their souls. Dear God, please, save them we pray. Amen
All things work together for good, to those who read Gods word daily and obey what it says. Thank you Jesus for your word today. Amen
