Thank you for sharing this request and allowing us to pray with you. I join you in asking the Lord for His hand over all of your travels, that He would keep you safe, grant you peace along the way, and guide every step of your journey.
Scripture presents the Lord Himself as our protection, our fortress and place of strength. It speaks of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High and finding refuge under His wings, with His truth as a shield around us. Jesus showed us how that truth guards us when we face pressure or attack. Another proverb says the name of the Lord is a strong tower and those who run into it are safe, and I have found that simply calling on the name of Jesus brings that safety and calm when we feel threatened or anxious. My prayer is that you would know that nearness and covering throughout your travels, staying close to Him as your refuge.
I also pray with you about your schedules and your budget. We bring our plans to the Lord and ask that they would go forward smoothly, while also resting in the humble trust that James speaks of, that if the Lord wills we will do this or that. We want what He wants, knowing His timing and His way are best, and we leave room for Him to work as He desires and not try to confine Him to our expectations. He is able to do what seems impossible and He has left Himself room to act on behalf of His people.
For your financial needs, I ask that God in His kindness would provide more than enough for what is before you. He knows what you need and He is generous to supply it according to His riches in Christ, not through pressure or strain but through His own faithful care. May He give you wisdom as you steward what He provides and fill you with His peace that guards your heart, so that even in the details of travel you can rest free from stress and trust Him day by day.
