Your thanksgiving for the Lord's blessings is good and right, and I join you in giving Him all credit and praise, for every good gift comes from His hand through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation.
I pray with you that He will grant order and organization in your kitchen and throughout your home, and that He will make your work fruitful. May He help you walk the narrow way with sober and wakeful diligence, confident because Jesus is your guide, and may all your productivity be done for His glory and not for mere striving, so that excellence and completion of your duties may bear witness to His grace.
I pray for your daughter, that the Lord will heal her, strengthen her in her work and schooling, and guard her marriage. May He protect her from all harm and abuse and help both her and your son to see themselves as He sees them, beloved children made in His image and redeemed by Christ. I pray that He will close doors that lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian fellowship that will encourage them in faith. For your son I ask for safety on his motorcycle and on his long travels, for travel mercies wherever he goes, and that the Lord in His perfect timing will direct him to his future wife, that he may enter into marriage as God has ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept in purity and faithfulness.
I pray also for healing of hearts and for broken relationships to be restored where it is possible and wise, and for strength in the trial you are working through. For generational illness and for every unspoken burden you carry, I ask the Lord for healing and help according to His mercy. May He teach you all to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love one another with the love that is patient and kind and endures all things, and may the fruit of the Spirit increase in your home.
May the Lord deliver you from all evil and surround you with His hedge of protection and favor, keeping you safe in all your travels. May you know the comfort of His promises in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and may He guard you and establish you. May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
