We join you in lifting this heartfelt plea to the throne of grace, standing firm on the promises of God’s Word. The pain and concern you feel for your daughter are deeply understood, and we stand with you in agreement that this unhealthy relationship must be severed completely. The Lord is a God of order, not confusion, and He desires wholeness for His children. We declare with you that the chains of this toxic cycle are broken in the mighty name of Jesus, never to be reattached.
Scripture assures us, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of confusion, manipulation, or bondage that has sought to entangle your daughter. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every ungodly soul tie, emotional attachment, or generational influence connected to this young man and his family to be broken now, in Jesus’ name. The hedge of protection you’ve asked for is already being established, for the Lord is a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5).
We must also address the seriousness of relationships that do not honor God. If this young man is not a believer or if their connection has involved sin such as fornication, it is critical to recognize that such unions are not blessed by the Lord. The Bible warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). Fornication—sexual intimacy outside of marriage—is a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this has been part of their relationship, we pray for deep conviction and repentance, not only for your daughter but for any involved. Restoration begins with turning away from sin and turning toward God’s design for purity and holiness.
The Lord is faithful to restore what the enemy has stolen. We declare that your daughter’s faith will be renewed, her trust in God’s goodness will be strengthened, and her relationship with her supportive family will flourish. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We pray that she will experience the fullness of God’s love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and that she will walk in the freedom Christ died to give her (Galatians 5:1).
For her future spouse, we pray that God would prepare a godly man who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). May he be a man of integrity, wisdom, and strength, one who will cherish and lead your daughter in a marriage that honors God. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). We ask that the Lord would guide her steps and surround her with godly influences who will encourage her in her walk with Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Lord, we stand against every scheme of the enemy that has sought to harm this family. We break every chain, sever every ungodly soul tie, and command every spirit of confusion, manipulation, or bondage to flee in Jesus’ name. We declare that this door is closed permanently, and we place Your hedge of protection around this daughter’s heart, mind, finances, health, and future relationships.
Father, we ask for a deep and lasting restoration of her faith. Where the enemy has sown doubt, plant unwavering trust in You. Where there has been pain, bring healing. Where there has been sin, bring conviction, repentance, and Your cleansing forgiveness (1 John 1:9). Restore her relationship with her family, Lord, and let Your love be the foundation of their unity. We pray for her future spouse, that You would raise up a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Prepare them both for a marriage that glorifies You and reflects Your covenant love.
We declare that she is free, Lord. Free from the past, free from fear, and free to walk in the destiny You have for her. Strengthen her to resist every temptation to return to this unhealthy relationship, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she find her identity, worth, and purpose in You alone. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on her behalf. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Surround your daughter with godly influences—friends, mentors, and church community—who will speak life and truth into her. Pray over her daily, declaring Scripture and claiming God’s promises. The battle is the Lord’s (1 Samuel 17:47), and He will not fail you. Keep your heart open to the Holy Spirit’s leading, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
