Beloved Warrior
Please pray for my daughter who is in a toxic relationship. This relationship has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and I pray that the Lord would break every chain. Lord, I remove the rebellion, control, and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother. My daughter is a child of the Most High God, and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family ways or seek their approval. I pray that her eyes would be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd, nor is he ready for the responsibilities of marriage. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and I ask the Lord to remove every false sense of obligation from her heart. Father, I ask that You would gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. I declare that she will not be swayed by the ungodly counsel of this woman, who has overstepped her bounds and sought to replace me as her mother and taking her away from her church home. I pray that the Lord would expose her motives, her disrespect, jealousy and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. Lord, I ask that my daughter will see her supportive family in Your eyes not in the eyes of this young man and his mother. I pray for godly spouses for my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Jesus declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy my family will fail. The Lord fights for me, and He will restore what has been broken. I pray that my home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your daughter before the throne of grace. This situation is deeply concerning, as it involves not only a toxic relationship but also spiritual bondage, financial exploitation, and a departure from godly counsel. We recognize the pain of watching a beloved child stray from the truth, and we join you in declaring God’s power over every chain the enemy has used to ensnare her.

First, we must address the seriousness of the relationship itself. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Living together outside of marriage is fornication, and the Bible warns against such sin (1 Corinthians 6:18). Your daughter’s involvement in this relationship is not only emotionally and spiritually harmful but also displeasing to the Lord. We must pray that her eyes are opened to the truth of God’s design for marriage and that she turns away from this ungodly union.

The influence of this young man and his mother is another area of great concern. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and it is evident that this relationship has drawn your daughter away from her family, her church, and godly wisdom. The enemy seeks to isolate and deceive, and we must rebuke every spirit of rebellion, control, and deception that has taken hold. We declare that no ungodly counsel will sway her, and we pray that the Lord exposes the true motives of those who seek to divide your family.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we have access to You (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask You to break every chain of bondage, deception, and financial exploitation that has ensnared this young woman. Lord, remove every false sense of obligation from her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, spiritually, emotionally, and financially, and grant her the strength to walk away.

We pray for godly conviction to pierce her heart. May she no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. Father, we ask that You frustrate every plan of the enemy to divide or corrupt this family. Let Your light shine brightly in their home, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus Christ.

We also pray for godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the Church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Raise up men of God who will cherish and protect them, men who will stand firm in their faith and lead their families with wisdom and love.

Lord, we declare that every plan of the enemy to isolate, divide, or destroy this family will fail. You are the God who fights for us, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been broken. We pray that this home would be a beacon of Your light, a place where Your love and grace are evident to all who enter.

In Jesus’ name, we rebuke every spirit of rebellion, control, and deception that has taken root in this situation. We command every chain to be broken, and we declare freedom in the name of Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in this young woman’s life, drawing her back to You and to the safety of her family. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that You will restore and redeem this situation for Your glory. Amen.

We are standing with you in prayer for your daughter, and we hear the weight you carry. Watching someone you love become entangled in a harmful relationship, where spiritual pressure, manipulation, and financial wrongs are present, is deeply painful. Your pleas for her eyes to open and for every chain to break are honest before God, and we believe He is faithful to act.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like your daughter may be facing a form of spiritual abuse: a relationship where others exploit her desire to do good, using guilt or twisted ideas to control her and pull her away from the family and church that truly love her. That is real, and it wounds the soul. While we pray for her full liberation, we also know such freedom often unfolds as a gradual process, more like a steady drawing home than a single dramatic event. So don’t lose heart if breakthroughs feel slow. Your persistent, gentle love and steady prayers are seeds God waters over time.

For a concrete step, consider how you might help her reconnect with healthy, grace-filled Christians outside the conflict. Could you introduce or reintroduce her to a wise older woman or a trusted couple from your church, not to lecture her, but to simply walk alongside her, remind her of the normalcy of genuine care, and give her a safe place to ask questions? Sometimes the quiet presence of a spiritual “aunt” or “uncle” can speak louder than a parent’s voice.

Also, if she is genuinely being financially exploited, encourage her to speak with a trustworthy financial counselor or a church elder who can help her see the situation more clearly, without judgment. Even just a single session might equip her to protect herself.

Father, we lift this daughter to You. Surround her with Your kindness that leads to change. Send people into her life who will love her without wanting anything from her. Give her a growing hunger for what is right and a deep weariness with what is false. Guard her heart from every deceiving voice and break the power of misplaced obligation. Help her family to remain steady and available, not as controlling voices, but as safe havens of wisdom. Restore her to the fellowship that feeds her soul. We ask for godly spouses for these daughters in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How often does the Spirit of God begin His work by bringing a soul into the bondage of conviction. You see your daughter tangled in cords that are not of God, yet you must remember that the Lord may permit this season of misery to awaken her to her true condition. That which you call stubbornness may, in the Lord’s hands, become the very hunger of a prodigal for the bread of her Father’s house. She is not beyond the reach of that look from Christ which severed Peter from the crowd and sent him out to weep bitterly. Pray, then, not only against the darkness but for the light of the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ to her heart as altogether lovely and sin as exceedingly sinful. It is better for her to be cast down in her bondage and to cry out from the pit than to slumber in a false peace while chained to destruction.

You have lifted a mother’s heart-cry against the ungodly influences that have ensnared your child. That is no small thing. But take heed lest your own spirit become bitter, and your prayers a catalogue of accusations. The Lord needeth not that we rehearse the sins of others as though He were ignorant of them; He knoweth the devices of the young man and his mother. Instead, stand in the breach as an intercessor, pleading the blood of the covenant, and leave the exposing and frustrating of their plans to Him who seeth in secret. Remember the Hebrew bondservant: he might serve six years, but in the seventh he went out free by the Lord’s own ordinance. So your daughter’s freedom is not a matter of human striving but of divine timing and sovereign grace. Justice demands her freedom, and mercy secures it.

Let your home be, not a place of strife nor a courtroom where her faults are rehearsed, but a haven where the fragrance of Christ is unmistakable. When she sees the peace and rest that abide in the paths of righteousness, she may well grow weary of the husks that do not satisfy. As Peter declared after his own restoration, “Do not wander. There is no good in it. Come back to Him.” You can show her that joyous testimony by your own spirit of liberty, not by a spirit of fear. The fear of man, the need for that young man’s approval, is a snare; but the love of Christ casts out such fear. Ask the Lord to give you such a gentleness and unwavering hope that she is drawn, as by a cord of love, to inquire again after the God who never fails His children.

As for marriage, you have prayed in accordance with the Scriptures: that she would keep herself for a husband who will love her as Christ loved the church. Hold fast to that prayer, for the relationship of marriage is not of mere human design but of divine covenant. The Lord who is the Maker of all things is also the Husband of His people, and He assumes all the responsibilities of that holy bond. He will not see your righteous desires mocked. But while you wait, do not measure His work by your own clock. Peter seemed forgotten in that cold courtyard until a single look from his Master undid him and remade him. That look came after private intercession, Christ had prayed for him that his faith would not fail. Therefore, continue in prayer, not as one who orders the Lord with loud declarations, but as one who rests on the promise that the Son’s prayers for His own are always prevalent.

The Lord who set us free from the pit wherein there was no hope will yet free your daughter, not partially but entirely. The liberty wherewith Christ makes free is no halfway emancipation. He will bring her out of the house of bondage; He will open her eyes to the deception, the exploitation, and the spiritual desolation of her path. It may be that the very bitterness of her present cup will be the means of her turning. Let her find in you no condemnation, but a heart that waits ready to rejoice when she says, “I will arise and go.” And when she is restored, she shall strengthen others, telling them with tears of joy that there is such peace, such rest with Jesus, that none should ever depart from Him. The Lord fights for you; He will restore what the locust has eaten. Plead the blood, and then leave her in the hands of Him who is mighty to save.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The true bondage you witness in your daughter is not first to a man or his mother, but to sin itself. For this is the most grievous slavery, from which God alone can deliver, since to forgive sins belongs to none other. When you plead the blood of Christ and cry out for her freedom, you do well, for the Son alone is master of the house and has power to set free. Yet understand that this very relationship, this living together outside the covenant of marriage, is the chain. It is not merely a situation that opened doors to bondage; it is the active rebellion itself, and she must know this truth to be made free. The harm is not only financial or emotional but spiritual, for she treats with contempt Him who gave her freedom in baptism.

Do not be overly grieved if for a time God permits this affliction, just as He permitted the children of Israel to be brought into bondage in Egypt for four hundred years before judging their oppressors and leading them out to serve Him. The same God who gave the promise first allows the evils, that we might be exercised. Yet let her not say in her heart, "I am a child of God, therefore I have never been in bondage," for that is the boast of the Jews who claimed Abraham’s seed yet remained slaves of sin. Freedom and bondage depend upon our actions. If she defends this man and desires a union that mocks the sacrament of His body broken for us, she has deserted in her heart the Bridegroom of the Church.

The burden you speak of, this false obligation she carries, stems from a love not rooted in Christ. It is as if her affection for Him has grown cold, and therefore she has slipped into this error. For if the love of Christ were truly rooted within her, she would not abandon the safe harbor of His commands. The young man is not ready for the holy responsibilities of a husband, for he does not love her as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her. A godly spouse leads in righteousness and honors the one-flesh covenant; this living arrangement, born of stubbornness and defended in rebellion, is not marriage but a corruption of that great mystery.

Therefore, continue in prayer, but let your prayer be that her eyes open to the plainness of her own sin, not merely the schemes of others. Christ expels us gently from false relationships, teaching us not to be high-minded. Hunger for righteousness comes when the soul first sees the grave harm it is causing itself. Exposing the motives of that woman will be God’s work, but the more urgent work is for your daughter to see that the virtue which bestows true freedom can be discerned even in a state of correction and separation, making one more honorable than any worldly attachment ever could. The Lord fights for you indeed, and He will frustrate the plans of the enemy to divide your family, but His weapon is the truth that calls your daughter back to the support of her church, the safety of His will, and the table where the true feast is celebrated, not the false feast of a disordered life.
