Beloved Warrior
Please pray for my daughter who is in a toxic relationship. This relationship has opened doors to deception, financial exploitation, and spiritual bondage, and I pray that the Lord would break every chain. Lord, I remove the rebellion, control, and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother. My daughter is a child of the Most High God, and she does not need to conform to this young man and his family ways or seek their approval. I pray that her eyes would be opened to the truth, that this man is not her husband, he is not a shepherd, nor is he ready for the responsibilities of marriage. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and I ask the Lord to remove every false sense of obligation from her heart. Father, I ask that You would gently but firmly remove her from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness. Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. I pray that she would no longer defend this man or desire to live with him outside of marriage. Instead, draw her back to the safety of Your will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. I declare that she will not be swayed by the ungodly counsel of this woman, who has overstepped her bounds and sought to replace me as her mother and taking her away from her church home. I pray that the Lord would expose her motives, her disrespect, jealousy and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. Lord, I ask that my daughter will see her supportive family in Your eyes not in the eyes of this young man and his mother. I pray for godly spouses for my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended. Jesus declare that every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy my family will fail. The Lord fights for me, and He will restore what has been broken. I pray that my home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We hear the deep concern and love in your heart for your daughter, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. The situation you describe is indeed serious, as it involves deception, financial exploitation, spiritual bondage, and a relationship that does not honor God’s design for marriage and family. We stand with you in prayer, declaring that the Lord is her true Protector, Restorer, and Deliverer.

First, we must address the nature of this relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Living together outside of marriage is not God’s design and opens the door to sin and bondage. The Bible calls this fornication, and it is a serious matter that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). We must boldly declare that this relationship is not of God and that your daughter is being led astray by ungodly influences. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we see his hand at work in this situation. We rebuke every lie that has taken root in her heart, every false sense of obligation, every deception, and every ungodly counsel that has drawn her away from the truth.

The Word of God warns us about the dangers of being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this young man is not a follower of Christ, or if he is not living in a way that honors God, then this relationship cannot be blessed by the Lord. We must pray that your daughter’s eyes are opened to see the truth, that this man is not her husband, nor is he a shepherd who can lead her in righteousness. The burden she carries for him is not hers to bear, and we declare that every chain of emotional and spiritual bondage is broken in the name of Jesus.

We also lift up the influence of this young man’s mother. The Bible is clear that parents are to honor their father and mother (Exodus 20:12), but this does not extend to allowing someone to overstep their bounds and sow division in the family. We rebuke every spirit of jealousy, control, and disrespect that has sought to replace your role as her mother. The enemy seeks to divide families, but we declare that every plan of the enemy to isolate or corrupt your family will fail. The Lord fights for you, and He will restore what has been broken (Exodus 14:14, Joel 2:25).

We pray that your daughter’s heart would be softened and that she would hunger for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Let her see the harm this relationship is causing, financially, spiritually, and emotionally, and let her turn away from defending it. Draw her back to the safety of God’s will, the support of her family, and the fellowship of her church. We declare that she will no longer be swayed by ungodly counsel but will seek the wisdom of God’s Word and the guidance of godly mentors.

Father, we ask that You would gently but firmly remove your daughter from this toxic bondage. Break the stubbornness in her heart and replace it with a desire to walk in Your ways. Let her see her family through Your eyes, not through the lens of this young man or his mother. We pray for godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, lead them in righteousness, and honor the covenant of marriage as You intended (Ephesians 5:25-28).

We plead the blood of Jesus over your daughter and your family. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy your family will fail. The Lord is your Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that your home will be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that Your power is greater than any bondage or deception. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, breaking every chain and restoring your daughter to the path of righteousness. Let her heart be turned back to You and to the family You have given her. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in her life (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We can hear the ache in your words, the fear of losing your daughter to a relationship that isolates her from truth, family, and church. The love behind your prayers is fierce and steadfast, and we’re standing with you in that. When someone we love resists God’s way, the most powerful thing we can do, alongside praying, is keep our own hearts steady. Jesus, the true Shepherd, doesn’t force His sheep; He pursues with patience. Your unwavering kindness, even when she gives you little to work with, can be the lifeline she eventually grabs hold of when her world shakes.

As you continue to pray, consider inviting a trusted pastor or a few mature believers to join you in intercession and, when the moment is right, to speak gently into her life from outside the family pressure. And remember that carrying this weight alone will deplete you. Find a friend who will support you, someone to share your burden with, so you can keep breathing hope.

Lord Jesus, You see this daughter and all that entangles her. Quietly, mercifully, open her eyes to what is true and what is harmful. Break the pull of unhealthy control and draw her back toward safety, toward family who love her genuinely, and toward a church where she can be fed. Grant her mother enduring wisdom, peace that passes understanding, and the right words at the right time. We trust You to guard and restore. In Your name, amen.

Your prayer has ascended to the Most High, and it is well that you have cast this burden upon Him who is mighty to save. You have laid hold of the covenant by pleading the blood of Jesus, and that plea can never be rejected. The chains that bind your daughter are not forged by man alone; they are spiritual cords, the power of darkness blinding the heart. But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Remember that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. No argument you can wield, no tears you can shed, will of themselves break the enchantment. You must look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone. He has found a ransom, the precious blood of His own dear Son, and if the Enemy seems to hold your child in bondage, yet the ransom is paid, and he shall hold her in bondage no longer. Trust the Ransomer; He will deliver her from going down into the pit.

Yet, mark how the Lord often works. Troubles do not spring out of the dust. This sharp trial may well be the rod of a Father's chastening, not upon you, but upon her who has strayed. The Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. Let your anger against second causes be moderated; the young man and his mother are but instruments. Look beyond them to the hand that holds the cup. Even this bitter draught may be profitable, if it drives her to loathe the husks and remember her Father's house.

Think upon Peter, who fell so low that a cock's crow and a look from his Master became the chosen means of his restoration. Two simple outward things, yet behind them the sovereign grace of Christ. The Lord can use a passing word, a sickness, a disappointment, a dream of the night, anything, to sever your daughter from the crowd of evil influences and turn her eyes toward the Crucified. Pray not only for her deliverance, but for that look which broke the heart of the denying disciple and brought him to bitter, wholesome weeping.

In the meantime, beware of seeking some back door to escape the trial by fleshly expedients. Wait upon the Lord. He brought His people out of Egypt with a high hand and an outstretched arm; not a hoof was left behind. He will bring your daughter out also, not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. And when He does, she will come forth with joy and gladness, the chains left behind in the furnace. You long for her restoration, and that is well; but remember that God's restorations are perfect. He will make her to walk in the light of His countenance, and who knows but that after this fall she may become a comforter of others who are tempted.

Plead the promise, “No weapon formed against thee shall prosper.” It is a sure word. The enemy has forged weapons against your family, but they shall snap as straw before the shield of faith. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. He will defend the oppressed, frustrate the tokens of liars, and make every plan of division to be as chaff before the wind. Your home shall yet be a beacon, not because of your striving, but because of the grace that restores and keeps.

Go often to the throne of grace with this word upon your lips: “Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation.” Pray it for your child, that the joy of salvation may be recovered in her soul, for a joyous believer is a fortified believer. And look forward in hope: He who has begun a good work in her will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your plea for your daughter reaches the throne of God, yet consider: what is the bondage you decry? Is it merely the influence of a young man and his mother, or the deeper chains of sin that hold her heart? The Jews of old boasted they were Abraham’s seed and never in bondage to any man, yet Christ showed them they were slaves to sin, the most grievous slavery. No earthly tie can free her from that, but only God who forgives sins. You ask for her eyes to open: pray rather that she sees truth not as escape from difficult people, but as liberation from the rebellion within her own soul. For the world’s friendships, built on kinship, convenience, or neighborhood, are fragile; true relationship is forged only in godliness. If she clings to this man apart from the fear of God, she is not bound by his mother’s schemes but by her own desires.

You declare the Lord fights for you, and it is so. Yet His warfare is not to remove every troublesome person but to slay the stubbornness in our own hearts. Do not pray only that she be separated from this household, but that she hunger for righteousness, that she despise the death of sin and embrace the life of the Spirit. The Eucharist, that most awful table, was given to deliver us from the world’s bondage; lead her there by your own thanksgiving and patience, not by counting others as enemies. The young man is not her husband, but what of it? Is Christ her Lord? Then let her learn that freedom is not found in a change of outward circumstances but in bowing the neck to His easy yoke.

You plead the blood of Jesus, and rightly: that blood cleanses from sin, not from disagreeable in-laws. Instead of praying against the woman who oversteps, pray that your daughter be not high-minded about her earthly family, for relationship to God depends on actions, not bloodlines. If you seek godly spouses for your children, first model a home where love of Christ eclipses every worldly alliance. Do not push her into danger or demand her immediate return, but set before her the beauty of a soul set free from vain obligation. For deliverance from earthly turmoil is nothing compared to despising death itself and clinging to Christ alone. May the Lord grant you both such steadfastness that your home becomes a beacon not by warring against flesh and blood, but by the light of a faith that thanks God in all things.

Your request rises with the anguish of a mother who sees clearly what her child cannot yet see. There is a kind of bondage that masquerades as love, a servitude that disguises itself as loyalty. What you describe is not the freedom for which Christ set your daughter free. It is the weak and beggarly elements all over again, a yoke that promises fulfillment but delivers only depletion.

True freedom in Christ is not merely the liberty to do whatever one pleases. It is the far more profound freedom not to have to do the destructive thing. The world believes freedom means no restraints, but the child of God learns that the deepest liberty is the power to say no, the release from the compulsion to seek life in what can only bring death. When a person unwisely exercises their choices in a way that brings them under a crushing power, they are no longer free. Your daughter feels obligated to carry a burden that is not hers, to conform to ungodly counsel, to defend what is harming her. That is not a loving relationship. That is a chain.

The spirit you have expressed does not align with a spirit of bondage again to fear. The relationship God desires for your daughter is one marked by the Spirit of adoption, whereby she can cry out, "Abba, Father." He wants for her a close, intimate, loving knowledge of Himself, not a legalistic sense of duty to a man who is not her husband and to a family that seeks her isolation. For her to turn back to this kind of entanglement, to submit her identity and her future to those who exploit and control, is to desire again to be in bondage. God has not called her to that. He has called her to peace.

You have asked the Lord to remove the rebellion, the stubbornness, and the false sense of obligation. This is exactly right. The heart caught in such a snare has a distorted vision. Just as Jerusalem which now is remains in bondage with her children, so your daughter is bound to a present reality that feels all-consuming but is built on sand. The true Jerusalem, the spiritual one from above, is free, and that is the mother of us all. That is where her true identity lies, not in the flimsy approval of those who disrespect her family and pull her from her church home. You are praying for her eyes to be opened to look past the immediate deception and see the truth as God defines it.

Remember that the Lord knows how to deliver the righteous from such vexation. The moral corruption of a toxic alliance has a polluting effect, and it takes divine power to cleanse a person’s perception. You are pleading the blood of Jesus over your children, and that blood has purchased a glorious liberty. It is the liberty that delivers from the bondage of corruption into the freedom of the children of God. The plan of the enemy to divide and isolate your family will not stand. God is the restorer of broken things, the one who renews a right spirit and draws His own back to the safety of His will.

Stand firmly in the declaration that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Continue to pray that the Lord frustrates every plan of the mother and son who seek to corrupt and divide. Ask specifically that your daughter’s hunger for righteousness will overpower her stubborn defense of this man, and that she will come to despise the chains she now clings to. The Lord fights for you, and He will move to restore what has been broken, to bring her back from this far country into the fellowship that sustains her and the family that loves her with a clear, godly love.

Lord, in the name of Jesus, we lift up this precious daughter. Break the deception that holds her captive to a relationship that has opened doors to spiritual bondage and financial ruin. Remove the false sense of obligation and replace her stubbornness with a desperate hunger for You and Your righteousness. Let her see clearly the harm she is sustaining and flee from it. Expose the ungodly counsel that has sought to replace her mother and isolate her from her church. Frustrate every plan to divide this family. Restore this daughter to the intimacy of her relationship with You, a relationship of spirit and truth, far removed from the yoke of tyranny she now carries. Draw her back to the safety of Your will, back to the support of her family, and teach her to find her entire identity and approval in Christ alone. We declare that this bondage is broken, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Amen.
