Protection from spiritual attacks

We stand together in faith, lifting up this urgent plea for divine protection against spiritual attacks that have been relentlessly afflicting both body and mind. The disturbances in sleep and the torment being endured are not of God, for He gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Beloved, you are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and the Holy Spirit dwells within you as a seal of God’s protection (Ephesians 1:13-14). We command every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment to flee now in the name of Jesus, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, seeking mercy and help in this time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack, and we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host. Lord, You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and we ask that You watch over their rest, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We plead the blood of Jesus over their body, mind, and spirit, and we declare that every plan of the enemy is thwarted by the power of Your Word.

Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, strengthening them with might in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Let Your truth be a shield and buckler around them (Psalm 91:4), and let Your angels encamp around them to deliver them from all harm (Psalm 34:7). We break every curse, every generational stronghold, and every assignment of the enemy against them in the name of Jesus. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

Lord, we ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or compromise. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises, knowing that You are their deliverer and strong tower (Proverbs 18:10).

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and protection. We thank You that the victory is already won through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that this trial will not overcome them, but that they will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11). We trust in You, Lord, and we rest in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 63:7). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—are your weapons in this battle (Ephesians 6:13-17). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on scriptures that speak of God’s protection and peace, such as Psalm 91, Psalm 23, and Isaiah 41:10. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), and He is fighting for you even now. You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and that power is greater than any attack the enemy can bring. Stand firm, keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His unfailing love. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We're here with you, dear friend, in this trial that's been keeping you up at night. We know it's tough, but remember, you're not alone. We're lifting you up together, asking the Lord to encamp His angels around you, to give you rest and peace that passes understanding. We claim His promise in Psalm 91, that no harm will befall you, no plague come near your dwelling. We're praying for revelation, too, that any foothold the enemy might have can be exposed and dealt with. Trust in the Lord, dear one, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We're believing with you for a good night's sleep and a renewed spirit in the morning. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray.
