Beloved of All
Please everyone help pray for me about my mother keeps stressing me out terribly bad. She keeps repeating everyday to stop paying my storage facilities and I need them for now until I can heal of my muscle weakness. My mother is upset at me because I can't help her with more stuff for my sisters, and nephews with my fixed SSI income. Yet she is not telling my sister to do anything while she is waiting on a lawsuit check because of her job. My sister is not contributing barely anything towards rent, utilities, and food and I'm doing it all with barely anything. My mother and sisters are saying they know Jesus but yet has anger. In my opinion,I see no fruits of Jesus towards their attitudes. I have been helping my mother,my sisters, and nephews with food, rent, car gas, utilities, and hygiene products and they are still angry at me. Nothing is enough for them. I love my family but this is making my health condition I have been diagnosed with worse. Lord Jesus,I pray in your name that this behavior from my family towards me stop. Amen.

We have heard your cry and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for we know He sees your love for your family and the strain you are under. We understand how overwhelming it feels to live with muscle weakness and to need your storage facilities for a season while you heal, and at the same time to feel pressured daily by your mother to give them up, and to carry so much of the financial load for your mother, your sisters and your nephews on a fixed SSI income while your sister contributes little as she waits on a lawsuit check. We see your faithfulness in helping with food, rent, utilities, car gas and hygiene products, and we also hear your exhaustion when you say nothing is enough and your health is getting worse from the stress.

We want to share some biblical perspective with you together. God calls us to Honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12 and to honor them even when it is difficult, but He also calls us to walk in wisdom and stewardship with what He has entrusted to us. We are to Bear one another's burdens Galatians 6:2, yet each one will bear his own burden Galatians 6:5, which teaches us there is a balance between helping family and allowing others to take responsibility for their part. Scripture also says If anyone will not work, neither let him eat 2 Thessalonians 3:10, and If anyone doesn't provide for his relatives, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith 1 Timothy 5:8, so it is right for each adult in the home to contribute according to ability toward rent, utilities and food. We also hear your concern about anger in your home. The Word warns Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other Ephesians 4:31-32 and A gentle answer turns away wrath Proverbs 15:1. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23, and we should desire that fruit in ourselves and pray for it in those we love.

We also gently encourage you about your observation that you see no fruits of Jesus in their attitudes. We understand your hurt, and it is right to discern fruit, but Jesus reminds us Don't judge, so that you won't be judged Matthew 7:1 and to first examine our own hearts. Only the Lord knows the heart fully, so we encourage you to release judgment to Him and instead pray for your mother and sisters with compassion, that the Lord would soften hearts and bring true repentance and peace. We are called If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18, which sometimes means setting loving boundaries with clear and respectful communication. It is not dishonoring to calmly explain to your mother why you need the storage for now for your health, what you are able and not able to do financially, and to invite your sister in love to share more faithfully in the household needs.

We are thankful that you prayed in the name of Lord Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else Acts 4:12. We cling to that promise as we pray for you.

We also want to encourage you to cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. Scripture says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We encourage you to continue to seek Him for wisdom, to care for your body as the temple He has given you, to rest as you are able, to seek wise counsel from a pastor or trusted believer about boundaries and finances, and to keep forgiving as Christ has forgiven us.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and we lift up our dear one who is weary and stressed and physically weak. Lord, You see the muscle weakness and the health condition that is worsening under strain, and we ask for Your healing touch, for strength and restoration, for You heal all your diseases Psalm 103:3. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart and mind and for rest for the one who labors and is heavily burdened, as Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Father, provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, for we know My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and give wisdom to steward the small income wisely. Lord, we pray for this mother and for the sisters and nephews, that You would remove bitterness and anger and fill this home with patience and kindness and self-control, that all would bear with one another in love. Help our loved one to honor mother with respect while also speaking the truth in love and setting healthy boundaries, and move upon the sister to contribute faithfully and act responsibly. Let Your peace reign in this household and let this family be drawn closer to Jesus, bearing true fruit that honors You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus our Savior, Amen.

We hear how heavy this has become for you, carrying rent, utilities, food and so much more for your mother, sisters and nephews on a fixed SSI income, while you are trying to heal from muscle weakness, and then feeling pressed every day about your storage and told you are not doing enough.

It makes sense that the constant pressure is wearing on your health and your spirit. Loving your family and also needing limits are not opposite things. A boundary is simply like a property line that helps clarify what is yours to carry and what is not, so you can take responsibility for yourself without being consumed by what others want you to carry. Being connected to family does not mean you cannot say a clear yes or a clear no.

A couple of steady next steps that may help you find some breathing room:

When things are calm, try one brief, kind conversation with your mother about the storage, that you need it for now while you heal and you have a plan to revisit it by a certain time, so it does not have to be debated daily. And for the finances, it can help to write down quietly for yourself what you can faithfully contribute each month on your income and what you cannot, and then share that same clear answer consistently. If possible, invite a trusted pastor or a caseworker who knows SSI budgets to look at that plan with you, so you are not carrying these decisions alone.

Please stay connected to your doctor about the muscle weakness and how the ongoing stress is affecting you, alongside prayer, so you have support for your body as well as your spirit.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. You see the love they have for their family and the exhaustion they feel. Grant them wisdom, protection for their health, and peace in their home. Give them strength to speak truth in love and to rest in Your care while they heal. Lead their family toward gentleness and understanding. Amen.

Hello everyone please help me pray,I want to pray about my financial hardship. When I apply to any bank, they are denying my application but will not tell me why. Some services I have borrowed money from have suddenly shut down my accounts and refuses to restore it and I need the help from those services. Food stamps have shut down my benefits and did not say why
There was no notice sent to me why and now I'm starving with no food. I have to go to a.food bank now. I have been pinching off of money that is required for bills in order to eat. My mother and sisters are refusing to help me with my fixed income and I help them get any food they want but they never like to do it in return. I have no extra money to pay my storage facilities, rent, utility bills as of now and they are due in a week and my mother is so angry at me. Help!! I gotta pay these facilities and others. God I pray in your name of a financial breakthrough quickly for me to have. I pray that my food stamp is restored,my credit services that used to help me,bank applications, and all of my debt be erased from student loans to credit cards. Jesus please I ask these things in your powerful great name. Amen.

Your heavy burden has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard your cry with much sympathy. To be pressed on every side by the needs of a household, to be weak in body and straitened in means, and yet to be counted as one who does not do enough, is a trial that would crush the spirit were it not for the grace of God.

The Scripture says, Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ, and in the same breath it says, Every man shall bear his own burden. There is a wisdom in this which touches your case. There are burdens which love will help to carry, and there are burdens which each one must bear for himself before God. It is not right that you should be made to carry the whole weight of rent and utilities and food and other necessities while others who are able to bear their part do not do so. To bear one another's burdens in compassion is Christlike, but to thrust your own burden upon another without taking his in exchange is to violate the spirit of the text. Your sister also has her burden to bear, and your mother her own, and it is good and orderly that each should bear his own burden in the strength God gives.

You speak also of a broken heart as well as a weak body, and of anger where you long to see the fruit of the Spirit. The Lord knows how to heal both. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. There is healing in Christ, not only in His great acts but in the very leaves of the tree of life. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and those leaves are for the healing of nations and of families and of weary souls. When the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing come together, for He first says, Thy sins are forgiven thee, and then He bids the palsied man to rise and walk. Your greatest need and theirs is this pardoning and healing grace which only Jesus can give.

Christ also says, My yoke is easy and My burden is light. The burden of life in a divided and demanding household is indeed heavy, but His yoke is not so. When you come to Him and learn of Him, He takes the galling yoke from your neck and gives you His own, and you shall find rest unto your soul even while the outward trial remains. He will teach you how to bear your own burden without fretting and crying for another to bear it for you, and how to help others to bear theirs without being consumed.

We will pray for you as you have asked.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted child of Thine who is weak in body and pressed in spirit. Thou knowest the fixed and scanty provision, the cost of the storage which is yet needed, the ache of muscles and the heavier ache of a heart that loves its family and yet is wounded by them. Forgive all sin and speak peace to the conscience, for with Thee is healing and pardon in happy conjunction. Lay Thy healing hand upon the body and upon the spirit, and let the leaves of the tree of life bring freshness where there has been weariness.

We pray also for the mother and for the sisters and the little ones. Work in them by Thy Holy Spirit that they may bear their own burdens with diligence and bear one another's burdens with tenderness. Take away anger and give the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness and meekness. Teach this household to walk in truth and to know Jesus not only in word but in power. Provide what is needed for rent and food and all necessities, and give wisdom to order the affairs of the home with justice and love, that none be overburdened and none be idle.

Sustain our dear friend in this trial. Keep this one from fainting under the yoke of life, and show more and more that Thy yoke is easy and Thy burden is light. Hear the prayer offered in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
