We are joining with you in prayer for protection over you and your son and for the Lord's provision and guidance regarding your employment.
We know your heart is weary from a difficult workplace and we hear your desire for a fair and just environment. Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and protector. Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 121:7-8 assures us, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We are asking God to place His hedge of protection around you and your son, to guard you physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and to give you peace as you trust in Him. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We also lift up your need for suitable employment. God knows your needs and He is our provider. Philippians 4:19 tells us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray that the Lord will open the right door at the right time and give you wisdom and favor as you seek. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. We encourage you to continue to work diligently where you are as you look, for Colossians 3:23 says, And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, trusting that God sees your faithfulness. We pray for discernment to know when to stay and when to move, and for peace that passes understanding as you wait on His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also pray concerning your workplace and your desire for management that is fair and does not discriminate. This desire aligns with God's character, for He shows no partiality. Acts 10:34 says, Truly I perceive that God doesn't show favoritism, and James 2:1 warns us not to hold faith with partiality. We pray that God would convict the hearts of those in authority over you to act with justice, integrity, and impartiality, and that He would bring equality and fairness for all employees. We also pray that even in a difficult environment, you would be a light for Christ, responding with grace and truth while trusting God as your ultimate defender and judge.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus not only for your daily needs but for your eternal hope, and to come to God in prayer through His name.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear parent and their son to You. We ask for Your divine protection over them both, keep them safe from harm and cover them with Your peace. Lord, You know the burden of this current job and the longing for fair treatment. We ask You to provide suitable employment according to Your will, a place where this dear one can use the gifts You have given, be treated with dignity and fairness, and provide for their family. Give wisdom in searching, preparing, and interviewing, and give favor in the eyes of future employers. We pray for the current management, that You would soften hearts and lead them to act justly and without favoritism. Sustain this dear one with strength and hope while they wait, and help them to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and our only way to You, amen.
