Beloved of All
Thanksgiving for continued prayers for discernment guidance wisdom strength and knowledge and protection for my son and me and that no weapon formed my son and me shall prosper. Prayers for us at our jobs as there is high pressure and potential burnout

We join you in thanksgiving before the Lord for His continued mercy and faithfulness to you and your son, for we know that in everything we are to give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We praise God with you for His protection and for the wisdom and strength He has already shown, and we continue to lift you both up together in Jesus' name.

We pray for the discernment, guidance, wisdom, knowledge and strength you have asked for. Scripture assures us that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We ask the Father to fill you and your son with that generous wisdom and with clear discernment for every decision you face. We pray you will trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. May He strengthen you when you feel weak, for He has said do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, yes I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

We stand with you in claiming the promise of protection over you and your son, that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment, this is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, Isaiah 54:17. We ask the Lord to encamp His angels around you, to guard your going out and your coming in, and to keep you from all evil, Psalm 121:7-8, and we pray that the Lord will guard you from the evil one and establish you, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We also lift up your jobs and the high pressure and potential burnout you are both experiencing. The Lord knows the weight you carry and He invites you to come to Him. Jesus said come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28. We pray you will cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and that in nothing you will be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We ask God to give you both boundaries, rest, renewal and favor in your workplaces, that you may work heartily as unto the Lord and not grow weary in doing good, Galatians 6:9, and that He would provide times of refreshing so your strength is renewed like the eagle's, Isaiah 40:31.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard, Romans 10:9. We encourage you to continue to bring every request before God in the precious name of Jesus.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this parent and this son. We thank You for Your hand of protection upon them and we ask that You continue to cover them, let no weapon formed against them prosper, let no scheme of the enemy succeed. Pour out upon them wisdom, knowledge, discernment and guidance for every step, strengthen them in body, mind and spirit, and guard them from exhaustion and burnout at work. Give them rest, peace, and joy in their labor, establish the work of their hands, and let Your favor be upon them. Draw them both ever closer to Jesus, that they may know Him more deeply and trust Him fully. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We appreciate your heart of thanksgiving and the way you are covering both yourself and your son in prayer. Asking for discernment, wisdom, strength and protection while you both navigate demanding jobs is a faithful way to stay anchored.

High pressure that does not let up can wear anyone down over time. It often is not one difficult day but the steady overload without enough margin that leaves people feeling depleted and less able to enjoy work or home life. Recognizing that early is wise.

A practical step that helps many in this season is to build in a brief weekly check in together and individually. Take ten minutes to name what was most draining and what was most life giving that week, and consider one small boundary or support for the week ahead, whether that is clarifying a work expectation, asking for help, or protecting time for rest and worship. If the pressure feels overwhelming or is affecting sleep, health or mood, we also encourage reaching out to a pastor, trusted mentor or counselor, and to a medical professional as needed, alongside prayer.

We are praying for you both.

Father in Jesus name we thank You for this mother and her son. Grant them clear discernment and quiet strength for each workday, guard them from harm, and give them rest and renewal as they trust You. Guide their steps and keep them in Your care. Amen.

Praying for your request and you

Psalm 100:4
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and his name.
Mathew 5:44
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you
1 Peter 4:8

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Luke 10:27

He answered, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.
Mathew 7:1-3

7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Isaiah 54:17a
No weapon formed against you shall prosper
Mathew 18:20
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

We join you in giving thanks to the God of all grace who has heard prayer and who continues to guide and keep you and your son. It is a good and right thing to seek discernment and wisdom and knowledge from Him who gives liberally and upbraids not, and to ask for strength and protection from Him whose wisdom is our guidance and whose love is our perpetual shield.

We pray that the Lord will guide you with His counsel according to His promise, You shall guide me with Your counsel and afterward receive me to glory. May He infuse in you great principles to avoid all that is evil and to bow with submission to His will, for in that submission there is unerring guidance. Remember that happy is the man who waits upon God to know what he shall do and dares not lean upon his own understanding but in childlike trust looks to providential guidance. Haste is the author of much mischief, so may the Lord keep you from hurried steps and give you quiet confidence in His appointed way.

We rejoice that he who travels on the Kings highway is under the Kings protection. As you walk in the ways of truth and obedience which God has taught you by His Spirit, you may expect His keeping, for He gives His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, and this protection is both personal and perpetual. Our Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep and His very life is pledged for the protection of His people. His omniscience watches over you, His infinity is your storehouse, His strength is your defense when your own strength fails. Therefore we plead the promise that no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, not because weapons will not be formed, but because the Lord Himself is your shield.

For your work and for your sons work where the pressure is high and the spirit is in danger of being worn down, we ask the Lord to be your strength. He knows the burden of the day and the heat thereof, and He gives power to the faint. May He teach you to rest in Him even while you labour faithfully, to do all as unto Him and to find your renewal not in mere escape but in communion with Christ who restores the soul. May He guard you both from burnout by His grace, ordering your steps, your rest and your labour, that you may serve without fainting and be kept in health of soul and body for His glory.

We thank God for you and continue to pray that He will grant you discernment, wisdom, knowledge and strength, and that He will keep you and your son in all your ways until He at last receives you to glory.
