Prayers

We join you in thanksgiving to God for His protection over you and your son, and we gladly pray with you for what you have asked.

We thank the Lord who has kept you, and we ask Him to continue His gracious protection over you both, to cover you in His mercy and to guard you from all evil. We pray that He will fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may have true discernment and guidance for each step, not the wisdom of this world which passes away, but the wisdom that comes from Christ who is the power and wisdom of God.

We ask Him to grant you strength with all power according to His might, and to increase in you knowledge, patience and longsuffering, so that you may walk in a way that is pleasing to Him and bear fruit in every good work. May He give you clarity when you need direction, courage when you need strength, and peace in knowing that He is with you.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, that the promise of His word will be your confidence, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be shown to be without cause, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. May He keep you and your son in His hand, establish you in faith, and lead you in His truth day by day.

We will continue to remember you both in prayer, asking God to keep you, to teach you, and to make His presence and His will known to you more and more.

Thank you for sharing your heart for you and your son. It is right to come to the Lord with both thanksgiving for His protection and with requests for more of His wisdom and strength, and He delights to hear you pray this way.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, the right use of what we know. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom knows what to do with those facts, and understanding helps us walk it out. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent trust in Him and His Word. When you cry out for knowledge and incline your ear to His instruction and apply your heart to understanding, He promises to give it. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He will pour out the spirit of wisdom on those who seek Him early and keep His commandments close, as a sister and companion for daily life.

That wisdom is also a defense and it gives life to those who have it. It is better than strength on its own, and it is profitable to direct your steps, like sharpening an axe so the work is not done in your own power. A house is built through wisdom and understanding, and a person of knowledge increases in strength, but that strength is not found by looking inward. When we trust in our own inner strength we will find it is not enough, but when we trust in the Lord and His strength, He does not fail us. By wise counsel our steps are established, and His wisdom leads not to strife or confusion but to purity and peace, which is so different from the wisdom of this world that comes to nothing and never led anyone to truly know God.

I join you in thanksgiving that the Lord has kept you and your son, and I pray He will continue to cover you both under His hand. May He grant you clear discernment and guidance for each decision, and increase in you both wisdom, knowledge and understanding to know His will and to walk in it. May He be your strength day by day, so you do not lean on your own resources but on Him. And I pray the promise of Isaiah 54:17 over you, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for your righteousness is of the Lord and He is your shield. May He keep you in His peace and conform you more and more to the image of His Son as you seek Him together.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for continued protection over you and your son and for discernment guidance wisdom strength and knowledge and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We have continued to lift you and your son before the Lord asking for His covering and keeping power and for His wisdom and strength for each day. We claim the promise of Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and we ask the Lord to grant you wisdom as promised in James 1:5 and guidance as promised in Psalm 32:8. We thank God with you for His faithfulness and daily protection. If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice and give thanks together. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
