What confusion fills this prayer! You begin with thanksgiving to God, yet you immediately seek after a "Higher Self," a "Spirit Guide," an "Angel" by name, asking to become one with these. Have you not heard the Apostle: "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"? You are mixing the light of truth with strange fire. The Holy Spirit dwells in the contrite heart, not in conjuring guides of your own making. A broken spirit, a heart humbled before the Lord alone, that is the sacrifice He will not despise. You ask for wisdom, yet you chase after voices that are not His. Turn away from these deceptions. God discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart; nothing is hidden from His sight. He requires purity, not partnership with spirits you name as though they were household pets.

And consider your prayer for this man and the other woman. You ask that they be punished and tormented day and night because you have been wronged. Where is the mind of Christ in this? He was betrayed by one of His own, yet He did not call down fire; He went out to meet the traitor, and even at that moment called him "friend." The woe belongs to those who refuse to repent, but vengeance is not yours to command. A contrite heart is quiet, not eager for vengeance, even when insulted or treated unfairly. To pray for torment upon souls for whom Christ died is to pray against the mercy you yourself need. Instead, let your tears be those of repentance and intercession, not of bitter demand.

You speak of needing a calm mind, of wanting your heart mended. Then cease this turmoil. Sing to God in your heart with heedfulness, not with this clamor for signs and retribution. Even in the marketplace of your busy thoughts, you can collect yourself and pray with a clean heart, and He who hears in secret will respond. Do not chase after a man who wavers, nor measure your worth by his attention. You are not made whole by a restored relationship with him or by a divorce finalized. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. Seek His face alone, not a motel room, not a second job as your first hope, not the return of some "higher self." Let Christ be your wisdom, your righteousness, your peace. The lamp that shines brightly is a soul set on fire by His grace, not by weaving together strange doctrines.

If you truly desire to be a child of God, then walk as one. Let your heart be broken, not in self-pity, but in godly sorrow that turns from all that is false. The path of suffering for righteousness is indeed beautiful and hard, but it is walked in truth, not in this mixture of prayer and pagan philosophy. Let the Holy Spirit have His way, not a spirit guide of your own naming. The angels of God do His bidding; they are not summoned by name like servants. Turn wholly to the Lord, and He will heal your mind and heart. But put away this spiritual adultery, and do not ask God to bless what He forbids. Come to Him as a child, with nothing in your hands but faith in Christ alone.

Your prayer comes from a heart that is clearly hurting and searching. You long for peace, for healing, and for wisdom, and that is not wrong. God draws near to the brokenhearted. But I want to gently point you to what He has already given you. You thanked Him for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is where your wholeness is found, not in a higher self, a spirit guide, or an angel by name. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, the one who guides you into all truth and mends what is shattered. When you ask for these other spirits to take over or return to you, you are turning from the only mediator, Jesus Christ, who gave His body to be broken open for your healing, spiritual and physical. He alone restores your soul.

I hear the confusion in the situation with this man. The cycle of blocking and unblocking, the jealousy and hurt, the desire for punishment if he has done wrong. But what is God most interested in? Your heart. Not the outward drama, not whether he chooses you or another, but the condition of your own heart before Him. He sees the motivations we often hide from ourselves. A prayer for torment and punishment reveals a wound that needs His healing, not a justice we try to wield. A broken and contrite heart He will not despise. If you rend that before Him instead of tearing at others, He will meet you there.

Emotional experiences, even intense ones, are shallow soil. They can feel like profound spiritual moments, but they do not sustain or change us. You cannot build your life on the ups and downs of a relationship or on thrilling encounters. The Word of God is what feeds the spirit and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. Spiritual growth comes from letting that truth expose and transform you, not from chasing feelings or demanding that others satisfy your heart’s hunger. What you truly thirst for can only be quenched by Jesus.

God’s design for marriage is lifelong, a union where two become one. When hearts harden, failure and divorce happen. It is not the unpardonable sin, but it is a departure from His ideal. Yet your future is not ruined by it. God can put new desires in your heart, desires that align with His good pleasure. You will know they are from Him because they lead to purity, peace, and a quiet trust, not chaos, manipulation, or revenge. As you seek a job and provision, ask Him to search you. Ask Him to show you if there is any wicked way within, and to give you a clean heart. That is the prayer David prayed, and it is one God always answers for those who come honestly.

Let this pain drive you to the only place true mending happens. Not by reclaiming a so-called higher self, but by surrendering your whole heart to the Lord, who already knows it completely. Let His Spirit, not another voice, fill you with wisdom and calm your mind. He will shine through you so that you walk in truth and love, not because you’ve manufactured a light of your own, but because His light transforms you from the inside. He is close to the broken. Turn to Him with all that you are, and He will make the path clear.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the deep cries of your heart—your longing for wholeness, for restored relationships, for wisdom, and for provision. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer these past days, lifting every facet of your request before our Heavenly Father.

We have prayed for your mind to be calmed, your heart to be mended, and your soul to be filled with the peace that only comes from Christ. We asked the Lord to guide you into all truth and wisdom, that you would walk in His light and reflect His love to everyone around you. We also prayed for your family—your children, your brothers and sisters—that they would experience God’s presence and protection in their lives.

We lifted up the situation with ###, asking the Lord to soften hearts, bring maturity, and restore what has been broken. We prayed that pride and misunderstanding would give way to humility, communication, and healing. We asked God to intervene in your financial needs, providing the resources you require and opening doors for that second job so you can move forward in faith.

Most of all, we prayed for your spirit to be strengthened, for your Higher Self—your true identity in Christ—to rise up and take its rightful place in your life. We asked the Lord to restore what has been lost, to bring beauty from ashes, and to let His light shine so brightly through you that others cannot help but see Him.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve experienced peace, provision, or a breakthrough—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you! If the answers haven’t come yet, or if the burden still feels heavy, please share your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, fill you with His joy, and lead you every step of the way. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
