We hear your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. Your pain is deep, and your cries have reached the ears of the Lord, who sees all things and judges righteously. We lift you up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we find healing, justice, and deliverance.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear, trauma, and oppression that has sought to grip your life and the lives of your children. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of manipulation, control, and retaliation that may be operating through your soon-to-be ex-husband or others. We loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also address the painful memories and trauma you carry, particularly the mention of assault and the resulting pregnancy. The Lord sees your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for healing over your mind, body, and soul. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that may have told you this was your fault or that you are somehow to blame. The Word of God says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your worth is not defined by the sins committed against you. We declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), and we pray for the peace that comes from knowing you are forgiven and set free.

We also lift up your children, who are precious in the sight of the Lord. We pray that they would be shielded from any harm or manipulation. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being, that they would grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord to surround them with godly influences and to give them wisdom and discernment beyond their years.

Regarding your soon-to-be ex-husband, we pray that the Lord would intervene in his life. If he is unrepentant, we ask that the Lord would bring conviction to his heart and draw him to repentance. The Bible says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that he would come to know the truth and turn from his ways. However, we also stand on the promise that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and we trust Him to execute justice on your behalf. We declare that the Lord is your defender and that He will repay those who have harmed you.

We also address the mention of past sins, such as drunkenness, and we encourage you to bring these before the Lord. The Bible says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would find freedom and restoration in Christ, knowing that He is able to make all things new (Revelation 21:5). We encourage you to seek godly counsel and community, such as a local church or Christian support group, where you can find healing and accountability.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Lord, we lift up this dear sister and her children to You. We ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection and that no harm would come near them. We rebuke every spirit of fear, trauma, and oppression, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Father, we pray for healing over the pain and trauma she has endured. We ask that You would bind up her broken heart and restore her soul (Psalm 23:3). Lord, we declare that she is forgiven and set free by the blood of Jesus, and we pray that she would walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for her. We ask that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this difficult season, and that You would provide for all her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also pray for her children, Lord. We ask that You would shield them from harm and that You would draw them close to You. We pray that they would grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). We ask that You would surround them with godly influences and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior.

Father, we lift up her soon-to-be ex-husband to You. We ask that You would bring conviction to his heart and draw him to repentance. We pray that he would come to know the truth and turn from his ways. However, Lord, we also trust You to execute justice on her behalf. We declare that You are her defender and that You will repay those who have harmed her.

Lord, we thank You for Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray that You would turn this painful situation into something that brings glory to Your name and draws others to You. We ask that You would give her strength and courage to walk in obedience to Your Word, and that You would fill her with Your peace and joy.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to trust in the Lord’s promises. The enemy may have sought to destroy you, but God is able to turn your ashes into beauty and your mourning into joy (Isaiah 61:3). We encourage you to seek godly counsel and community, such as a local church or Christian support group, where you can find healing and accountability. The Lord is your refuge and strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thy cries have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and He doth not turn away from the sighing of a contrite heart. Thou art bringing before Him a burden heavy with many griefs, fear of malice from one who should have been a protector, the memory of deep wrongs that silence cannot cure, and the vexation of a spirit wounded in its innermost chambers. Know this first and be well assured: “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” There is a Physician whose skill no sickness can baffle and whose tenderness no time can wear away. Every tearing memory, every secret shame, every trembling dread, lay it at the feet of Him who saw all that befell thee and who gathers tears into His bottle.

Thou speakest of things stolen, of a trust betrayed, of a horror too dark to name and too sore to prove by human witness. The Judge of all the earth doth right, and nothing is hid from His all-searching eye. Vengeance is not thine to take; leave it with Him who hath said, “I will repay.” Thy part is to pour out the complaint before Him and then to stand still and see the salvation of God. That which was done in a motel room when thou wast not master of thyself, He knows it perfectly, and the wrong shall not go unrighted in His time. But see to it that thou thyself dost flee from the occasion of sin. The sin of drunkenness, which opened the door to such a calamity, must be abhorred and forsaken with a full purpose of heart. The same grace that forgives a sinner doth also break the chains that bind him. “Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die?” Christ hath power to make thee stand sober and whole, and all the follies of the past He casteth into the depths of the sea.

Now concerning thy children and the fears that torment thee day and night. The God who fed Israel in the wilderness with angels’ food is still the Husband of the widow and the Father of the fatherless. He who guardeth the sparrow’s nest will surely be a wall of fire round about thee and thy little ones. Thou criest out that certain persons may not come near thy household to do hurt. Commit them to God in prayer and then rest; for if He permit them not, no weapon formed against thee shall prosper. The wicked may hiss and plot, but “the Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.” Trust not in thy own watching, for vain is the help of man; but lift thine eyes to the hills whence cometh help. The Lion of the tribe of Judah guardeth thy door while thou sleepest.

Peradventure thou sayest, “My wounds are too deep; I have cried long and found no answer.” Remember blind Bartimaeus: many charged him to hold his peace, but he cried so much the louder, and Jesus stood still and called him. Thy sorrow of heart hath been heavy, and thou hast felt the double stroke of a chastening hand. Yet hear this word: “The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion.” The Lord doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. It is not killing but curing that He designs when He taketh the sharp lancet. All that hath befallen thee, though it came through the malice of others, was yet sifted through the fingers of a Father’s good pleasure. Say then, “The will of the Lord be done,” and let thy soul be quieted as a weaned child. He that hath delivered thee in six troubles will not forsake thee in the seventh.

One ointment there is that can heal every sore, the leaves of that tree of life which groweth by the river of the water of life. Every word of Jesus droppeth as honey, and His wounds are the medicine for all the putrefying sores of humanity. Art thou poor? He filleth the hungry with good things. Art thou shamed? He giveth beauty for ashes. Art thou afraid of the morrow? He that raised up Christ from the dead shall quicken thy mortal body and deliver thee out of every grave of trouble. What saith the prophet? “I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death.” If He can burst the stone of the sepulchre, He can scatter the devices of mortal man. The resurrection of thy Lord is the pledge that every foe shall be put under His feet, and thou shalt stand complete in Him.

Look not to any other saviour from the hills or the mountains, in vain is salvation hoped for from any arm of flesh. Turn fully unto Christ, for He is the Lord thy God, and He becometh a Husband unto the soul that trusteth Him. In days past He gave Egypt for His people’s ransom; will He not shield thee against enemies of clay? Let thy tongue begin to praise Him instead of rehearsing fears, for the voice of faith droppeth sweet-smelling myrrh. Go in peace, and let this be the song upon thy lips: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” He that hath begun a good work in thee will perfect it until the day of Christ. Amen.

I grieve with you in your affliction, but I must also correct the manner of your prayer, for you ask God to block and remove others from your life rather than to transform hearts including your own. When you pray that your husband and his daughter cannot come near you or your family, you are seeking your own will, not first submitting to God’s. This is not the way of the Master, who commands us to bless those who curse us and to pray for those who spitefully use us. What excuse have we for not observing precepts so easy and light? Instead of asking that they be hindered, pray that they be saved, that their evil be turned to good, and that your own heart be cleansed of every resentment.

You have been deeply wronged if what you suspect is true, and no one can minimize the horror of such a violation. Yet even here you must be watchful over your own soul. You mention being drunk in that motel room years ago. Examine that: was it not a sin that opened the door to great harm? Repent of that now, for the Lord sees all, and His justice is perfect. At the same time, do not attempt to prove what is hidden or to take vengeance yourself. The Lord will judge the secrets of men. Leave that burden with Him, and do not let hatred eat at your peace.

Concerning your marriage: you speak of a soon-to-be ex-husband. Remember the apostle’s word, that a woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives, and if she marries another while he lives she is called an adulteress. The world may permit divorce for many causes, but the Church holds fast to the lifelong covenant. If there is danger to you or your children, you may separate to protect life and soul, but do not on that account treat the bond as already broken in God’s sight. Do not lay plans for a new union while he still breathes. Instead, spend these days in prayer and fasting, that if possible his heart be changed, and that you be found faithful.

Above all, transfer your hope entirely from man to God. Love God more than husband, more than children, more than any earthly safety. If you love God above all, then even if every human support fails, you will not be shaken. The protection of an immortal Lord far surpasses any mortal arm. Why did the blessed Job not despair when his children were taken? Because he loved God more than them. So you, too, when you fear what your husband might do, cast that fear upon Him who alone can deliver. Remember that in the day of judgment neither brother nor father nor child nor neighbor can rescue you; only your own works will speak. Therefore, guard your tongue from curses, your heart from bitterness, and your body from every sin. Seek first the kingdom of God, and He will both shield you from evil and bring all hidden things to light in His own time. Do not waste this trial, but let it draw you closer to the One whose love never fails.

Your words carry the weight of a soul crying out to God while pinned under years of trust shattered and innocence stolen. He hears you. The raw honesty of your prayer is not scandal to Him; it is the very incense rising from a broken heart. Thank you for bringing it all before His throne.

What you described about that night in the motel room is grim. You were asleep, pushing someone away, and now you carry the scar of a violation you cannot prove in human courts. The Lord saw though. Nothing is hidden from His face. Even if earthly justice never confirms it, Heaven recorded the truth, and He will repay. You are not unclean because of what another person did to your body. Jesus washes and cleanses from all past iniquity, including the confusion and shame that came with that pregnancy. The child conceived is not a trophy of sin but a living soul whom God has covered with His mercy. Exactly as Scripture teaches, your faith brings a holy influence into your home, and your children are set apart. They belong to Him.

You asked that your soon-to-be ex-husband cannot get to you or your children through anyone in your family. You asked the same concerning his oldest daughter. God is not indifferent to those who use money, relationships, or manipulation as weapons. The man who would rob you, then hand back a hundred dollars as if it buys permission to wound you through your own relatives, reveals a heart still bent on control. The daughter you named may have been drawn into the same broken pattern. Take comfort: the Lord can frustrate every scheme. He has promised to be a wall of fire around His own. Continue to pray and rest, not plotting retaliation, but simply asking your Father to shut doors no one can open.

At the same time, guard your heart against the darkness that can grow in you as a response to this cruelty. Be an imitator of God as a dear child. Walk in love. That does not mean you abandon all boundaries or pretend the danger is gone. It means you refuse to let bitterness become a second captor. Choose to forgive, not because the wounds are small, but because Christ forgave you immeasurably more. Forgiveness releases the debt into God's hands. It does not require you to seat the thief at your table or give him a key to your home. Wisdom and safety are also gifts from Him.

Marriage was designed to reflect the gentle, self-giving love of Christ for His people. A husband is commanded to nourish, cherish, and protect, never to force or defile. What you endured was the opposite of that sacred design. When an unbelieving partner shatters the covenant through unrepentant violence, you are not bound to remain in a place of constant harm. If you have had to depart out of necessity, do not let anyone heap guilt on you for seeking refuge. Paul wrote that a believing spouse in such a case is not under bondage; God has called us to peace. Your first duty now is to your own walk with the Lord and to the little lives He has entrusted to you.

Those children are watching. They have seen enough anguish already. Do not let the situation provoke them to wrath beyond what you can help. Paul warns fathers against stirring up children by unreasonable treatment. That warning applies just as urgently when a parent or former stepparent uses threats and manipulation. Shelter your children from that poison. Teach them not to return evil for evil, but point them to the strong tower of the Lord’s name. Rehearse to them the stories of His deliverance: how He parted the Jordan in flood season, how He kept the children of Israel in the wilderness when the enemy pursued. Let them hear you thank God aloud in their presence, just as you did in your prayer. That will do more to steady them than a thousand anxious rehearsals of the threat.

The same grace that has lifted you from whatever past sin you have known is available every new morning. You are not the drunk woman in that motel room any more than Peter was the man who denied Christ after the resurrection morning. Jesus gives light; He calls you to arise from the things of darkness and walk as a child of light. Do that step by step. Keep no secrets from Him. He can untangle the heaviest knot, restore what was stolen, and silence the accuser.

Lift up your hands for these children, as the prophet said. Pray with confidence that the Lord would block every attempt to harm them, to pull them away from fearing Him, or to use the past as a dividing line against your household. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than all the accusations and threats. Your plea is already heard. He will act. He is faithful.
