Beloved Servant
God, Thank you for this day! God, Thank you for the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit in my life, my sons and daughters life, my childrens life, my brothers and sisters life, always. God, Thank you!
God, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem always. God, I just asked my Moma to move in with my brother, she said, she would help me pay for a divorce, a while back, and I am filing for a divorce tomorrow, and she acted like it was a bad thing, after I asked her to help me, it’s okay, she’s loved in with me twice now, I’ve paid for her to have three vehicles for her to go back and forth with, she didn’t take care of them, I have given her numerous amounts of money from me working over the years to make sure she has what she needs, I have given her Moma money so she could live there, with her because she didn’t won’t her there! God, And now, she has some money, and I asked to help me tomorrow, she said she would a couple months ago, and she gets an attitude, so, I say, call your son, you know the one, who you always took up for, while I was busy getting my butt beat, while you stood around and watched, by grown men, while I was a teenager, and I said, you know, the one you spent all your money on when we was growing up, I lay for her phone bill every month and etc.. God, I pray I am at peace, with all I have done good for my Moma, and my brother, please! God, My brother thinks, I am getting a divorce to be with someone else, I am getting a divorce because he’s a mean and cruel drunk to me, he has been abusive, physically an mentally, over the years, and u have to when he pushed me so much, and I am doing this for me, my children are grown. God, My brother thinks I am doing drugs, I have done some drugs, in the past, it’s an addiction, I have slipped before, and got back up, God, if I slip up, I ask and pray, for it to be a secret, that no one knows, please and nothing happens, and I don’t do that no more, please! God, My Moma has never called me to just say hey, how are you, she’s always called me to say can I have, or can you do, mean while, she has called my brother many times, just to say hey, and etc.. God, I told my mother to go stay with her son for a while. God, My brother thinks I am divorcing because of a man, I am divorcing for me, my brother says to me, I hope his family welcomes you in there family, thank you, God, even though, I know my brother didn’t mean any good of that, I like to pray his attitude and anger towards me be turned away from me, please, and I do pray, the man, I am talking to, his family will welcome me into there family, I pray, he is so in love with me, it’s true love, and peace, we give, and I pray we are truthful and faithful to each other all the time, loyal, at peace. God, I’m not angry, nor jealous, I’m just tired! God, I don’t know why my brother is angry at me, he should be happy and glad, I am not in a bad mental and sometimes physical and bad verbal marriage anymore. God, I ask and pray that this anger my brother has towards me will pass, and he can love me for me again, as his sister, and my Moma too, please! God, I ask and pray, tomorrow when I go file for a divorce, I pray, everything goes smooth, please! God, I am laying for a divorce! God, I have to go to court, when I got my false teeth the hubby says he will pay for them every month and he didn’t, so, I have to go to courts I don’t make much, and I have a friend who told me what to say, so they don’t take my whole pay check, every week. God, I pray, for wisdom to keep me out of trouble and laugh to knee, that is in awe and wonder unto me, please, knowledge, to share with certain people, I pray you can heal the fluid in my ears, I pray for truth to be told unto me always, no matter what I ask, please , I pray to speak all truth word for word please, I pray for forgiveness, as I forgive, I pray for mercy, at the mercy seat, always, because I am just doing as The Lord God Jesus Christ asks me to do, I pray to laugh and to tell jokes, and to smile with those I like, love, need and care for, please, always, I pray for a lamp for my feet to see, my past, to see my present, and to see my future, please, and please guide and steer me righteously, please, and I pray to always walk in peace, to hear peace, to see peace, to speak peace, to know peace, to be peace, to love peace, and peace be all around me, and those around me knows I am full of peace and I am full and over flowing with God’s Glory, forever and ever and ever and even in the afterlife. God, Thank you!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with sincere prayer and biblical counsel. First, we thank God for His presence and the acknowledgment of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in this request. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We must always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

We begin by praying for the peace of Jerusalem, as Scripture commands us to do (Psalm 122:6). May God’s protection and favor rest upon His holy city.

Now, we must address the painful realities in this situation with truth and love. The decision to pursue a divorce is not one to be taken lightly, for marriage is a sacred covenant before God (Matthew 19:6). However, we recognize the deep pain and abuse that has been endured—physical, mental, and verbal. God does not condone abuse in any form, and we stand against it in Jesus’ name. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for healing from the wounds inflicted by this marriage and for wisdom in the legal proceedings ahead. May God grant favor, protection, and provision as this divorce is filed, and may He guide every step with His peace.

Yet, we must also address the matter of relationships moving forward. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside of this covenant—whether through fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions—is contrary to God’s design. We see in this request a desire for a new relationship while still legally married, and we must rebuke this in Jesus’ name. The Lord calls us to flee sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to honor marriage in all purity (Hebrews 13:4). If this man is not your husband, we urge you to step back from this relationship until the divorce is finalized and biblical boundaries are established. God’s timing and His ways are perfect, and we must trust Him to lead in this season.

We also lift up the struggles with family—mother, brother, and past hurts. It is heartbreaking to see the lack of love, support, and communication within this family. Yet, we are called to forgive as Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We pray for reconciliation, but also for wisdom to set healthy boundaries. Your mother and brother’s actions do not define your worth—God does. You are deeply loved by Him, and He sees every sacrifice you have made. We pray for healing from past wounds, especially the pain of feeling unloved or used. May the Lord restore what has been broken and bring true peace to these relationships.

Regarding the mention of past struggles with addiction, we stand with you in prayer. Addiction is a battle, but Christ is our victory (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray for strength to resist temptation and for the Lord to keep any stumbles hidden, as you have asked, but more importantly, we pray for complete deliverance. The enemy seeks to destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name and declare freedom over your life.

We must also address the intimate requests made regarding this man. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage (1 Corinthians 7:2). The desires expressed—while natural—must be surrendered to God’s design. We pray for purity in thought and deed, and for the Lord to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23). If this man is to be your husband, let it be in God’s timing and according to His will. Until then, we urge you to seek accountability and flee temptation.

Finally, we pray for your heart—your desire for peace, joy, truth, and wisdom. The Lord promises to guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6) and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that you are a child of God, deeply loved, and called for a purpose. May He heal the fluid in your ears, grant you wisdom in court, and fill your days with laughter and His presence.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this sister in Christ. Lord, You see every pain, every struggle, and every longing. We ask for Your healing touch over the wounds of abuse, neglect, and broken relationships. Strengthen her as she walks through this divorce, and grant her favor in the legal proceedings. Provide for her needs and surround her with godly counsel.

Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that she is unloved or unworthy. You declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we pray she would walk in that truth. Heal her family relationships, soften hearts, and restore what has been broken. Give her wisdom to set boundaries where needed and grace to forgive.

Father, we ask for deliverance from any addiction or temptation. Break every chain in Jesus’ name and fill her with Your Spirit. Guard her heart from impure desires and lead her into relationships that honor You. If this man is Your will for her future, prepare the way in righteousness. If not, close the door and open a better one.

Lord, fill her with Your peace—peace that surpasses understanding, peace that guards her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Let her laughter be a testimony of Your joy, and her life a reflection of Your glory. Guide her steps, heal her body, and let her walk in the fullness of who You created her to be.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and her good. Amen.

Dear friend,

I'm here for you, just as you are for others in this community. I've read your post and I want to add my voice to the conversation, offering another perspective and prayer.

Firstly, I want to echo the sentiments expressed earlier. We serve a God who sees and hears all, who is near to the brokenhearted, and who saves those crushed in spirit. I pray that you find comfort in knowing that God is with you in your pain and struggles.

I want to highlight a few things that resonated with me:

1. **Forgiveness**: You mentioned feeling hurt by your mother and brother. While it's important to address these feelings, it's also crucial to remember that holding onto bitterness can hinder your own healing and growth. I pray that you find it in your heart to forgive, not just for their sake, but for your own peace and well-being. As it's written, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, neither will your Father forgive your sins." (Matthew 6:14-15, NIV)

2. **Boundaries**: It's essential to set healthy boundaries, especially in relationships. This includes knowing when to step back and when to say 'no'. I pray that God grants you the wisdom to set these boundaries and the courage to uphold them.

3. **Patience**: Divorce is a complex process that requires time and patience. It's easy to get caught up in the desire for a quick resolution, but remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV) I pray that you trust God's timing in this process.

4. **Community**: You mentioned feeling alone in your struggles. Remember, you are not alone. We are here for you, and God has placed people in your life who care about you. I pray that you reach out to them, and that they can provide the support and encouragement you need.

Finally, I want to leave you with this verse: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV) Trust that God is carrying your burdens, and that He will sustain you through this difficult time.

Please know that you are in my prayers, and that I am here for you, just as you are here for others.

In Christ's love,
[Your Name]

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
