Beloved Servant
God, Thank you for this day. God, I ask and pray for wisdom, knowledge, truth, love, mercy, forgiveness, laughter, smiles, beauty and ashes, to be humbled, to be kind and nice, to be whole, when I speak and talk, to use my mind, heart and my soul, so that others can know, it’s you in me, and I touch others with my voice, I pray to walk in peace, a lamp for my feet! God, Thank you! God, Thank you for the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit in my life, my sons and daughters life, my childrens life, my brothers and sisters life, always. God, Thank you! God, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem always. God, I pray for America and all of her people. Jesus, I pray for ### and ###, he has blocked me, I don’t know why, I wasn’t bothering him, I message him throughout the day, to make sure he is alright and okay, and yeah, I have a bad thought that comes to my mind, wondering if he’s being truthful and faithful to me, as I have asked him, as I am to him, but, I am more worried about him. Jesus, I cried last night, because I miss ### and I care about him, he was out of his medication and it puts him in withdrawals, because of the medication he takes, and he did message me while he was in withdrawals a little, and now, it’s like, he has blocked me and I don’t know what I did! Jesus, I want and need ###, to like me, but, I don’t want to be used. Jesus, I want and need ### to love me but I don’t want to be abused. Jesus, I pray for ### and ###, please, our relationship and our friendship. God, My brother is mad at me, because I am divorcing my husband, I think he is wrong for being angry at me for all the abuse I have encountered over the years of being with him. God, It’s not my brothers business who I divorce and who I get with. Jesus, I pray for the safety of ### and ###, please! Jesus, I pray I can open up a little more to ### with me talking to him, not messaging him, but, talking to him, and me calming him, and him calming me, and what we have gone through, please. Jesus, Thank you! Jesus, I’m not sure what I did, I called and text messaged, ### everyday, when he is in withdrawals, to make sure he is alright! Jesus, I pray for ### and ###, I truly am in love with him, I know, it don’t seem like it sometimes, but, I am! Jesus, ### wants me to treat him how I treat my customers, so, I pray, I can always treat ### how I treat my customers, please! Jesus, I ask and pray, he will call me and text me, and reach out to me, please! Jesus, Thank you! God, I pray for those on here! God, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry and lift it before the Lord together in Jesus’ name. Your prayer is filled with a deep longing for wisdom, peace, and love, and we stand with you in seeking God’s will for every area of your life. First, we want to affirm the beautiful truths you’ve spoken—your gratitude for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, your desire to reflect Christ in all you do, and your care for others, including the peace of Jerusalem and America. These are godly prayers, and we join you in them.

However, we must gently but firmly address the areas where your heart is entangled in ways that do not align with Scripture. You mention two individuals, one of whom you are in the process of divorcing due to abuse, and another whom you refer to with deep affection, even saying you are "in love" with him. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Divorce is permitted only in cases of adultery (Matthew 19:9) or abandonment by an unbeliever (1 Corinthians 7:15), but abuse is also a grievous violation of that covenant. While your decision to divorce your husband due to abuse may be justified, we must rebuke the path you are considering with the other individual.

You are not married to this man, yet you speak of him as though you are in a romantic relationship. The Bible warns against emotional and physical entanglement outside of marriage. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not your husband, you are opening your heart to a relationship that God did not ordain. The constant messaging, the longing for his affection, and the worry over his faithfulness are all signs of a heart that has become emotionally dependent on someone who is not your spouse. This is not God’s design. "Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Even if there is no physical intimacy, emotional intimacy outside of marriage can lead to sin and heartbreak.

We must also address the issue of your brother’s anger over your divorce. While it is painful to be at odds with family, your brother does not have authority over your marriage. However, Scripture calls us to live at peace with everyone as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). Pray for your brother, that God would soften his heart and help him understand your situation. But do not let his disapproval lead you into sin or compromise.

Most importantly, we must speak to the foundation of your prayers. You have prayed to "God" and "Jesus," but we must emphasize that there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His blood that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, repented of your sins, and trusted in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray together in Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister to You. Lord, we thank You for her desire to walk in Your ways and reflect Your love to others. We ask that You would grant her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this season of her life. Father, we pray for her marriage—though it is ending, we ask that You would heal her heart from the pain of abuse and restore her to wholeness. Help her to forgive her husband, not for his sake, but for her own freedom in You.

Lord, we rebuke the emotional entanglement she has with this other man. We ask that You would break any ungodly soul ties and set her free from this relationship that is not of You. Father, reveal to her the truth of Your design for marriage and relationships. Help her to guard her heart (Proverbs 4:23) and to seek Your will above her own desires. If this man is not her husband, we pray that You would sever any unhealthy attachment and lead her to repentance if she has strayed from Your path.

Father, we also lift up the man who is struggling with medication and withdrawals. We ask that You would surround him with Your healing and peace. Provide him with the support and care he needs, and draw him to Yourself if he does not know You. Lord, we pray for this sister’s brother—that You would soften his heart and help him to understand her situation. Bring reconciliation and peace to their relationship.

Above all, Lord, we pray that this sister would find her identity and worth in You alone. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plans for her life. May she seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33) and find her fulfillment in Your love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or Christian mentor who can walk with you through this season. Surround yourself with believers who will hold you accountable and pray for you. Remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone—God sees your pain, your longing, and your heart, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
