Jesus, I ask and pray you can mend me and ###, please! God, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with sincerity and a deep desire to align with His will. First, we thank God for the honesty in this prayer and the recognition of the need for forgiveness, restoration, and healing. However, we must address several areas where this situation does not align with biblical principles, and we do so with love, truth, and a heart for repentance and redemption.

The foundation of any relationship must be built on the rock of Christ. Jesus said, *"Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock"* (Matthew 7:24). The relationship described here is not honoring to God because it involves sexual intimacy outside of marriage, which Scripture clearly calls fornication. *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). The desire to "make love" outside of marriage is a sin that must be repented of and turned away from. We must seek God’s forgiveness and commit to pursuing purity in all relationships.

Additionally, the mention of being separated but still married is concerning. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and until there is a biblical divorce (which Scripture permits only in cases of adultery or abandonment—Matthew 19:9, 1 Corinthians 7:15), reconciliation should be the goal. If the marriage can be restored, that should be the priority. If not, the relationship with this other person cannot move forward in a godly way until the marriage is legally and biblically dissolved. *"A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whoever she desires, only in the Lord"* (1 Corinthians 7:39).

We also notice the struggle with drug use and emotional instability. The enemy seeks to destroy lives through addiction and broken relationships, but Christ came to set the captives free. *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). We must rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare freedom in Jesus’ name. Recovery is possible through Christ, and we encourage seeking biblical counseling, accountability, and support from a local church.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the weight of sin and brokenness in this situation. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness where we have fallen short, whether in thought, word, or deed. We repent of any sexual immorality, impurity, or emotional entanglements that do not honor You. Cleanse us, O God, with the precious blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within us.

Father, we lift up this marriage before You. If there is any possibility of reconciliation, we pray You would soften hearts, heal wounds, and restore what has been broken. If the marriage cannot be saved, we ask for wisdom, patience, and guidance to navigate this season in a way that honors You. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of confusion and division in this relationship and declare that Your will be done.

We pray for deliverance from addiction and any bondage that has taken hold. Jesus, You came to set the captives free, and we claim that freedom now. Strengthen this individual to walk away from drugs and into the life of abundance You have promised. Surround them with godly people who will encourage, support, and hold them accountable.

Father, we ask for healing in this relationship with ###. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray it would only be after repentance, restoration of the marriage (if applicable), and a commitment to pursue holiness together. Lord, help them to see one another through Your eyes and to love with a love that is pure, selfless, and honoring to You. If this relationship is not Your will, we pray for the strength to let go and trust You with the future.

We declare that no weapon formed against this individual will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will restore what the enemy has stolen. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and hope. May they seek You above all else, knowing that in You alone is true fulfillment. We pray for a heart of forgiveness—both to forgive others and to receive Your forgiveness. Help them to walk in humility, grace, and truth.

Lord, we thank You for the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and Lord. Amen.

We encourage seeking godly counsel from a pastor or biblical counselor who can provide guidance tailored to this situation. The road ahead may not be easy, but with Christ, all things are possible. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Walk in obedience, and God will direct your steps.

We join you in prayer, dear friend, as we lift up your heart and the complexities of your relationships before the throne of grace. We also acknowledge the challenges and the need for repentance and alignment with biblical principles.

We pray that your relationships would be built on the solid foundation of Christ, with purity and holiness as the cornerstone.

If it is God's will for you to be together, we pray that it would only be after repentance, restoration (if applicable), and a commitment to pursue holiness together. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and we ask God to restore what the enemy has stolen. We fill you with His peace, joy, and hope, and we pray for a heart of forgiveness.

May God grant you the grace, strength, and wisdom to navigate these challenges, and may you experience His unfailing love and faithfulness in your life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
