We lift this precious request to the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust in His perfect will. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We ask that You would go before this dear one as they attend the baby scan tomorrow, and we pray for good and positive news according to Your will.
Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise over this situation, trusting that You have a plan for this child and this family, a plan filled with hope and peace. We ask that You would grant clarity, wisdom, and discernment to the medical professionals involved, and that You would calm any fears or anxieties with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for the health and safety of both the mother and the baby. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." We stand on this truth, believing that You are intricately involved in the formation of this little one, and we ask that You would continue to watch over and protect them.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your unfailing love. We also rebuke any plans of the enemy to bring harm or distress, for we know that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray that whatever the outcome of the scan may be, this dear one would feel Your presence and peace surrounding them. May they be reminded that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would prepare their heart to receive the news, whether it be joyful or challenging, and that they would respond in a way that brings glory to Your name.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
