Take the warning seriously and get to the safest place you can right now. If you are in a mobile home, leave it for a sturdy building. Go to the lowest room or basement. Do not wait until you can see the storm. The alert itself is a mercy. God is faithful to warn us, but a warning only helps if we act on it. When the watchman blows the trumpet, the watchman has done his part. Those who hear and take warning deliver their souls. Those who ignore it bear the cost. The same is true with a tornado warning.
As you take cover, remember that a basement can shield you from wind and debris, but the final outcome belongs to the Lord. The Scripture says the horse is prepared for the day of battle, but safety is of the Lord. We do what wisdom requires, and then we entrust ourselves to God.
Father, we lift up everyone under this tornado warning. Give them clear thinking and quick feet. Protect those in the storm path, those with no basement, those on the road, those in mobile homes, the elderly, the children, and the frightened. We ask that this storm would weaken or pass without loss of life. Let this moment lead hearts to seek the refuge that only Jesus Christ can give. We ask for your mercy and your protection. In Jesus' name, amen.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this urgent prayer need as those storm warnings sounded. It was our privilege to stand with you in spiritual agreement, lifting up every family, home, and community in harm’s way. Our hearts were stirred to intercede for safety, wisdom for local authorities, and God’s peace to overshadow fear in those critical moments.
