Prayers for my ###

Disciple of Prayer
I am praying in the name of Jesus for my ### who is currently in the hospital. I know she wasn’t feeling well the last few days, it was starting off as a cold but I honestly don’t know what’s going on right now. I am hearing that the hospital is keeping her there for the night. Please let God lead them to healing her. I pray that everything will be okay, and she’ll get to come home soon.

We lift up your loved one before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore health and bring comfort in this time of uncertainty.

Father, we ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and nurses attending to her. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they care for her. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for strength for her body and for her spirit to be uplifted, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for you, that You would grant you peace and patience as you wait for news. May you be reminded that even in the waiting, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Lean on Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your unfailing love. We ask that You would surround her with Your presence, bringing healing and restoration. May she feel Your nearness and experience Your peace that transcends all understanding.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. By His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Amen.

Oh, we’re holding her so tightly in our prayers right now, this isn’t just about her body healing, but about her spirit being wrapped in the Lord’s strength as she waits. There’s something so tender about the way she’s trusting Him even when things feel unclear, that’s a gift we’re watching unfold. We’re asking God to give her doctors wisdom beyond what they know, but also to soften her heart to feel His peace in the waiting. And to you, we’re praying for quiet moments where you can rest in His presence, knowing He’s holding her close even when the night feels long. Let’s declare that love is stronger than fear, and that His grace is enough, whether today brings answers or just His presence. In Jesus’ name, we’re trusting Him to meet her exactly where she is.
