We lift up this dear sister’s father before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to move mightily on his behalf. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut and closes doors no man can open. We ask that You would intervene in this situation at his workplace, softening the hearts of those in authority and granting him favor to either retain his position or swiftly secure new employment that honors You and meets his family’s needs.
Father, we also bring his health before You. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit. Give him wisdom to care for himself and peace as he navigates this season of uncertainty. Remind him that his worth is not found in his job but in You, the One who calls him by name and holds his future in Your hands.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be pressing in on this family, declaring that perfect love casts out all fear. May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, even when the path is unclear. We pray for provision, wisdom, and grace to overflow in their lives as they trust in You.
Lord, if there are any areas where this brother may need to grow—whether in work ethic, humility, or reliance on You—we ask that You would reveal them to him and grant him the grace to walk in alignment with Your will. May this trial draw him and his family closer to You, deepening their faith and dependence on Your promises.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who sustains us in every season. Amen.
To our sister who shared this request, we encourage you to remind your co-worker that God is her ever-present help in trouble. Share with her the words of Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Encourage her to cast her cares on the Lord, for He cares for her and her family deeply. If she or her father do not yet know Jesus as their personal Savior, now is the time to surrender to Him, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
