We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your willingness to seek the Lord in every area of your life. It is beautiful to see your dependence on Him, acknowledging His blessings, seeking forgiveness, and desiring to be molded into the person He has called you to be. We join you in lifting up your request for employment, recognizing that God is the provider of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). You are not alone in this journey, and we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will open the right doors at the right time.
First, we want to affirm your desire to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). This is the foundation upon which all other blessings flow. When we prioritize God’s will and His ways, He promises to add all these things, including provision and stability, unto us. Your pursuit of employment is not just about meeting your needs but also about stewarding the gifts, wisdom, and skills God has entrusted to you. We pray that He will guide your steps and lead you to a place where you can serve Him fully and be a light to those around you.
We also want to encourage you with the truth that God sees your faithfulness. The fact that the interviewer recognized you from your previous work as a substitute teacher is a testament to your consistency and dedication. The Lord honors those who honor Him (1 Samuel 2:30), and we believe He is working behind the scenes even when the outcome is not yet clear. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep trusting Him, even in the waiting, for His timing is perfect.
As you continue to seek employment, we pray that the Lord will grant you favor in the eyes of those making decisions. May He soften hearts and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We also ask that He would give you peace and patience as you wait, knowing that He is your provider and that His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Let your heart be encouraged by Philippians 4:19, which declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up their need for employment. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You know the plans You have for them. We ask that You would open the door to the right opportunity, one that provides stability, allows them to use their gifts, and brings glory to Your name. Give them favor with those in authority, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We also pray that You would continue to mold and shape them into the person You have called them to be, fixing their heart, mind, and soul according to Your will. May they walk in obedience and righteousness, seeking You above all else. We ask all these things in the mighty and worthy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is not just concerned with your employment but with your entire well-being. As you celebrate your birthday, may it be a reminder of God’s faithfulness in your life thus far. He has brought you this far, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and let your heart be filled with hope, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). You are deeply loved, and we are praying for you.
