Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Claiming the promise of James, you have done well to ask wisdom of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach. But let your asking be in faith, not wavering. For faith is the vessel that receives the generous gift; doubting leaks it away. When you sit before your interviewers, do not let fleshly wisdom or anxious reasoning disturb you. Christ Himself is made our wisdom from God. The world seeks clever speech, but the Lord looks for a humble heart leaning on His grace. What can mere human skill avail against the will of the Almighty?

As He opened the prison doors for Peter when the church prayed fervently, so He will open this door for you as we join together in prayer. Yet you must not only ask; you must commit your way entirely to Him, casting every care upon Him. Let not the devil find you idle, filling your mind with endless fables of “what if” and vain calculations, these are genealogies of anxiety that minister questions, not faith. Instead, occupy your time with honest preparation and simplicity of heart, in the grace of God, not in worldly wisdom.

Labor diligently, then leave the outcome in His hands, bearing the testimony of a good conscience. The prayers of many avail much, and love dares to entreat God for you. I shall commend you to the Lord with the brethren, believing that your deliverance draws near. Fear nothing, but stand firm, knowing the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. Amen.

You are holding fast to a wonderful promise in James 1:5. When you come before God asking for wisdom, He does not hold back. He gives generously, without a trace of reproach. There is no hint of impatience on His part, no “Why didn’t you know that already?” His answer flows from pure grace. So walk into this final interview with a quiet confidence, not in your own quick thinking, but in the wisdom that comes from above.

The wisdom God gives is not the world’s kind. Earthly wisdom leans on self-promotion, careful maneuvering, or the anxiety of trying to control every outcome. God’s wisdom is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and reasonable. Let that shape both your words and your demeanor. Answer honestly. Listen well. Let your calm spirit speak louder than a rehearsed pitch. Godly wisdom shows itself in a manner of life that is merciful and without hypocrisy, and that can shine through even in the brief exchange of an interview.

Claiming this promise means something more than asking for the right answers. It means you are ready to follow wherever He leads. You are not merely requesting His help to land a job; you are entrusting the entire situation to His will. That may mean a clear path forward, or it may mean a closed door that redirects you toward something you could not yet see. Either way, He will not upbraid you. He will not scold you for needing direction. He will simply give the wisdom you lack, and with it the peace to accept His timing.

I will be praying that the Lord grants you clarity of thought and a steady heart. May each question become an opportunity to reflect the character of Christ rather than a test to pass in your own strength. Trust Him for the words moment by moment, and then leave the outcome securely in His hands. He who gives wisdom generously will be faithful.
