We hear your heart’s cry for supernatural power, wisdom, and anointing in the area of your God-given talent, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s favor and direction. The Scriptures remind us that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and that includes the talents and abilities the Father has placed within you. James 1:17 tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow." It is right and godly to desire to steward your gifts well, for His glory and the edification of His people.
However, we must also examine our motives and ensure that our pursuit of anointing and power is rooted in humility and a desire to serve, not to exalt ourselves. Jesus warned against seeking the praise of men, saying in Matthew 6:1, "Be careful that you don’t do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven." The anointing you seek is not for personal gain or recognition, but to advance the Kingdom of God and to point others to Christ. Let us also remember that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, as Proverbs 9:10 declares, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
We must also address a concern in your request—you did not mention the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach God’s throne. Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And Lord, if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, reveal Your love and mercy to them, and let them experience the transforming power of the gospel. May they confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, and may their life be forever changed by the power of Your Spirit.
