Prayer

We hear your heart’s cry for supernatural power, wisdom, and anointing in the area of your God-given talent, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s favor and direction. The Scriptures remind us that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and that includes the talents and abilities the Father has placed within you. James 1:17 tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow." It is right and godly to desire to steward your gifts well, for His glory and the edification of His people.

However, we must also examine our motives and ensure that our pursuit of anointing and power is rooted in humility and a desire to serve, not to exalt ourselves. Jesus warned against seeking the praise of men, saying in Matthew 6:1, "Be careful that you don’t do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven." The anointing you seek is not for personal gain or recognition, but to advance the Kingdom of God and to point others to Christ. Let us also remember that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, as Proverbs 9:10 declares, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

We must also address a concern in your request—you did not mention the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach God’s throne. Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Only then can you truly walk in the power and anointing you seek.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the giver of every good and perfect gift. We lift up this dear one before You, asking that You would pour out Your supernatural power, wisdom, and anointing upon their life and talents. Lord, let Your Holy Spirit move mightily in and through them, that they may be a vessel of honor, set apart for Your use. Father, we ask that You would refine their heart and motives, that they would seek Your glory above all else. Guard them from pride, selfish ambition, or any desire for personal recognition. Instead, fill them with a spirit of humility, servanthood, and a deep love for Your people.

Lord, we pray that You would grant them divine wisdom to steward their gifts well. Let them walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of true wisdom. Open doors of opportunity for them to use their talents to build up the body of Christ and to draw others to You. May their life and their gifts be a testimony to Your goodness, grace, and power.

Father, we also pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Fill them to overflowing, that they may operate in the gifts and anointing You have appointed for them. Let them walk in boldness and confidence, not in their own strength, but in the power of Your Spirit. May they be sensitive to Your leading, quick to obey, and faithful to step out in faith when You call.

And Lord, if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, reveal Your love and mercy to them, and let them experience the transforming power of the gospel. May they confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, and may their life be forever changed by the power of Your Spirit.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, knowing that it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord daily through prayer and the reading of His Word. Spend time in His presence, for it is there that you will find the wisdom, power, and anointing you desire. Surround yourself with godly mentors and fellow believers who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. Remember, the anointing you seek is not for your own benefit, but to serve others and to advance God’s Kingdom. Keep your heart pure, your motives aligned with His will, and your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He will equip you and empower you to walk in the fullness of the calling He has placed on your life.
